There are specialists who are very good at getting these types of guys to confess. Appealing to their ego, etc. One of the best interrogations I've ever seen was the one with David Russell Williams, the Canadian Air Force pilot who was a serial rapist and killer.

I want to see them send a 4’10-5 foot female cop in there to go after him in that interrogation room. He clearly likes to intimate people with his height and his victims were all shorter than 5’2 (I think? I could be wrong on one of the heights). It would be so satisfying to see a woman the same height as his victims go at him like a pit bull. See how he likes it.

Realistically yes-I know they have to use techniques and kiss his ass and appeal to his ego, but I can dream, right?

Thanks so much for this detailed timeline! I appreciate the time you spent on this! I heard on Lost Girls that RH’s known victims were spaced the same distance apart. Im wondering what this tells us about his MO?
Agreed. This is a fantastic timeline!!

At a press conference outside the home where Heuermann lived with his wife and two kids, Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said police had found a "tremendous amount of information" during their search.

He declined to describe the bulk of the material, but said there was not a "singular piece of evidence" that jumped out to him.

BBM THIS scares me. Nothing jumped out to him or he won’t say?

Can locals help me out here: how do you interpret that?
Does it mean, that he got a hunting licence for hunting in Alaska - does US issue hunting licences by the state?
Or does it mean, that he got any hunting licence, be it for any random area or be it a US-wide licence, but he for some reason got it in Alaska? What would the reasons be for that? Is it, for example, easier to get said licence in Alaska, because they do not require, say, eyesight testing or something? Just cheaper?

There are lots of missing women in Alaska if he did go there to hunt after all.

IMO (and perhaps wishful thinking), I think he won't say.

Snipped

Wowzers!! Thank you! Timelines are so useful and I know this took a lot of work. I wish there were a way to "pin" it for reference.

Great work!

RH says he visited Cocoa Beach, FL in 2017. There one missing girl that looks like his type. Missing: Stephanie Smith | Daytona, FL | Uncovered
I'm sorry, but it appears you've switched up Vegas and Florida:
November 2017: RH visits Las Vegas alone "for a couple days to meet some people." When asked, "so it was a pleasure trip?," RH responds "I guess you could say that, social." (pg. 133 of the EBT in Heuermann v O'Sullivan)

- January 2018: RH drives down to Cocoa Beach, Florida with his wife, mother, and daughter (pg. 131 of the EBT in Heuermann v O'Sullivan)

It varies state to state. Some states collect DNA after any arrest. In other states it's any arrest for a felony. And other states require a conviction of a felony before they collect DNA. So, it's possible that they haven't collected DNA yet. I don't know NY's laws on the matter.
Don't know for a fact that they collect DNA at the time of arrest, but to me it would make sense, especially in this case where they are looking for more victims. JMO

wonder if he is thinking about what will happen when his DNA goes into CODIS...he may need to start talking if he has murdered in DP states. He can be tried in those states, I don't know how it all works but I hope he's facing the facts.
Las Vegas, Florida, NC, SC...I hope he knows..mOO

So I’ve been going back through the old LISK forums just to see if there’s anything that jumps out to me and I saw this post. My apologies if it has already been answered, but does anyone know if this is true? Did they ever confirm if Melissa’s boyfriend/pimp at the time really could have been contacted by this dude?

“We’re interviewing a great deal of people,” he said.

“This investigation isn’t limited to New York state.”

However, under federal law, Mr Heuermann’s DNA cannot be entered into state or national databases to see if he is tied to other unsolved cases until he is convicted.

But if a victim's DNA is entered along with a unknown suspect's wouldn't it be beneficial to SCPD? I've watched too much L&O where it's all solved within a hour.

I remember reading his statements years ago but I don’t know what ever came of it

I suppose it’s possible. Laws are a funny thing; sometimes from a legal standpoint, it’s not the written law itself, but the interpretation of the law that can be manipulated and argued.

Maybe it’s in and they are keeping it quiet, maybe they are taking the legal steps required by the jurisdiction and NYS Laws to make sure it gets in ASAP.
I'd like to think that his and his wife's are in the system and there were no hits because neither had a record of they didn't have enough DNA to process it. The victims were found before the killer, so I think it goes without saying. JMO

This also jumped out at me. If Melissa had been advertising BDSM stuff, do you think it would be a little far fetched to say she may have brought along some of her own “props” and toys? Wasn’t there something not too long ago that they found handcuffs in his house at one point during the search?

By the way, this may not be as helpful as I first thought but there was a Mets baseball player named Patrick who also has the last name Howell. He shares the same surname connected to Peaches’ relatives and he was also born in Mobile but raised in Pritchard, Alabama. He played for the Mets for a season in 1992. This may be nothing but I thought I should share because Peaches and her daughter Toddler Jane Doe were mentioned earlier.

Yes, his position was center field.
