This BBM jumped out at me from the article:

His office was mostly staffed by women like myself, young and petite, the girl-next-door type.

Article: My Boss, the Monster

ETA: I just scrolled down to read the comments on that article and ... just wow.
Thanks for the pointer. Comments were interesting!

Is that grenade real in the pic at link?
It's most likely a dummy (that is, with the explosive and fuse removed). Private ownership of explosive devices requires a special permit, and is very closely regulated. If he'd been caught with a live grenade, that would have been shown in a tabloid headline by now.

I used to have a dummy grenade, but gave it to a nephew as a gift.

They weren’t the exist same distance. All located within 500 feet of each other though. All intact and laid out neatly I believe.
I heard that this initial 4 were spaced equal distance apart.

wonder if he is thinking about what will happen when his DNA goes into CODIS...he may need to start talking if he has murdered in DP states. He can be tried in those states, I don't know how it all works but I hope he's facing the facts.
Las Vegas, Florida, NC, SC...I hope he knows..mOO
Do any of these States still have the death penalty? That may give him more motivation to talk!

That Melissa's phone was used to harass her loved ones is beyond doubt. It's talked about at length in Lost Girls, but more than that, it's in the bail documentation. Page five.

Rex Heuermann, Gilgo Beach murder suspect, bail documentation | PDF | Dna Profiling | Forensic Science

Both Maureen and Melissa had people in their lives who were contacted, presumably by the defendant, after they went missing.

Megan and Amber did not. Amber did not have a phone with her, but Megan's was last recorded on the network in the vicinity of RH's home.

That’s very interesting that her phone was near his house. If he didn’t murder anyone in the house, he must have had a location near the house?

Being Germanic in origin, the correct pronunciation actually IS hoyer-mann. I guess Rex and his fam didn't get the memo ;)
How one has to pronounce the name maybe important, yes, but I think, it differs. What seems to be important is, that "Heuermann" gets written in so many versions and mostly wrong, it's an agony to see it. Probably it means, that his data are found everywhere and nowhere.

PS: For me the name is sounding 100% German, and mentally I call him like I would call an "Heuermann" in German. I just now have a memory flash: I have known a man with the same name 55 years ago: attractive and being in the building industry (how fitting). Driving hot cars (BMW), but no killer, afaik.

That is not correct. They were very close to each other, yes, but the distance was not that precise.

This image was from Suffolk County Police. As you can see, NONE of the victims were exactly the same distance from each other, and Amber is actually more than three times further apart from Melissa than Melissa is from Maureen.

You can find this image in this article, here.

Are there any phone records for RH on the night Shannan Gilbert made her 911 call?

I wonder if they even checked the phone calls in the area of Oak Beach that night?

As a master of codes and regulations one would think he would not attempt to kill in LV , FLA or the Carolinas...

Please elaborate. Are you referring to him being abreast of building codes and regulations as an architect?

I think they have to go through a lot of hoops..they have all her calls..but if they can see all the phones pinging in that area at that time .....but again I think it's not done without higher approval like a special warrant and probable cause??? just guessing but I think I heard this somewhere before as I have had this question many times, it's at an odd hour..it would be easier to catch an errant phone out there.....mOO

He's an architect whose porch is held up by 2x4s, and who installed a vault in his basement, probably without a permit.

I think he likes rules, he just doesn't think they apply to him.

yes, and those States are DP states and I think as a thinker and a planner he would be well aware of this.
