Looks like NYS prisons serve margarine and the canteens don't sell perishable foods.
Anyone know if the letter said to be from RH to "Happy Face" was ever verified?
Of all the people RH could write to choosing convicted serial killer HF when you yourself are charged with also being a serial killer leaves one gobsmacked ..one can only imagine Michael Brown's reaction to the letter..if true.

The food basics served in prisons are said to be unhealthy and disgusting so I can only imagine what institutional vegan dairy/meats etc would be made from if it even exists in institutional foods

Bathroom door has me thinking as I start wading back into the nuts and bolts of his murders, what happened to all the discussions about him potentially using his building sites in connection with concealing remains? If he were doing so, why were remains left at Gilgo at all? If he wasn't doing so... why not? It would seem like it could have been a convenient possibility for him. Was he one of these true "collector" type SKs that wanted to revisit the victims at his whim? Did he fear being detected as he was doing it, surveillance at the sites, too many eyes at the sites, too many protocals? Did he have "associates" that were too integral to the crimes where... he didn't want to risk one of them turning on him at some point, and divulging whereabouts of remains?

If he were a solo actor and did actually decide to use work sites to hide remains, would anyone ever have known? Possibly, but I think (?) it would have been less likely. (??) And he had so much control over those sites. When I think about that aspect, it's very strange to me with him being an established architect, but jmo.

He still could have hidden others there. We don’t know.

ED , depression, loss of interest in sexual pursuit

would be interesting to know if the ones that stopped killing for long periods were killers with families, growing children etc.

Rex saw countless sex workers, I would be so interested in their stories about him. I don't think Rex ever thought he was caught...so why would he stop? he would just have to switch things up. what it seems might be harder is for him to do everything he wants to do and enjoys without his beloved basement murder house that was so comfortable and private.

we also know he likes to hunt , maybe he has some trail killings or kills out in the woods.

so you kind of have to think in terms of what he will do if he doesn't have hours on end to torture and kill, or what the places are that could work..Rex had other homes or property. South Carolina is one..Did he have a trailer somewhere?

would love to see all his calendars to see where he was going , what all he had on his daily schedules, things like that.

I still think he murdered Shannan...and I hope he confesses to all his murders.

Tierney did say that the public has only a small percentage of the evidence they have gathered.

Did Tierney ever say that they verified that the initial belt had belonged to the Heuerman family?
I have a vague memory that it was verified, then again it could have been a rumor.

The Golden State Killer, former police officer Joseph De Angelo, finally stopped after his children were older and his job and family life gave him less free time. It didn’t change his personality, though. Several of his neighbors said he was a rough, rude angry person. Very bad temper.

I get what you're saying but paying over half a million just for the property seems like a dicey investment to me.
It's still a congested neighborhood with small plots of land and no views and Massapequa Park's building ordinances will limit the height and size of the new construction.
Plus it will still permeate bad juju.

Maybe AE will luck out and there's a buyer out there who's attracted to serial killer's hell-hole torture houses and will scoop it up.
