GIlgo Beach Suspect's Daughter Speaks Out in New Doc. What She Says
"Listen, whether the world likes it or not, whether I like it or not, he's my dad," Victoria Heuermann said in a new documentary series.
There's this.Same and that reminds me, has any family spoken out about this? They may not want to be associated with them.
BBMGoing back to Melissa and the ”bathroom remodeling” - she wasn’t dismembered. Why woild he have to remodel?
Did she fight so hard she broke glass and mirrors in there somehow despite her being quite petite?
Did he murder someone else there in the same time frame and dismembered that person?
Even if he did a full sanguination in there it should be easy to clean up blood in a bathroom. He has obviously succeeded with that since nothing was found there. Bone fragments, hair and shattered cartilage is harder to clean out without removing the pipes afterwards because fragments could lodge anywhere in the pipes.
Or did he install a new fixture for the elevation torture?
Bbm" 5 weeks"
Five weeks RH had the house to himself.
I had no idea the length of AE's vacation.

"Barthelemy, 24, of Erie County, New York, went missing on July 12, 2009".
Breaking Down the Timeline
The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets had Ellerup and Victoria weigh in on the dates when Heuermann was allegedly involved in the murder of several women. They started with Barthelemy, who went missing in July 2009.
“I remember July 2009. I planned a trip to Iceland for five weeks to visit my family. The reason why my husband didn’t go with us on vacation is because construction is highest in New York City during the summertime. He would also try to take advantage of times that we were not in the house to do some reconstructing in the house,” Ellerup claimed. “When I was in Iceland, I remember that conversation when he called me the night before he left. He said to me, ‘I made a big mess and I have a big surprise for you when you get home.'”
Heuermann alleged to Ellerup that he “ripped apart the whole bathroom,” adding, “He threw everything out. He had to pick up some supplies. There are receipts from when it was purchased. He had put in the toilet and the sink downstairs in the basement. He had redone the plumbing. The bathroom had been completely gutted from top to bottom. That was Rex.”
When it came to the events leading up to Brainard-Barnes’ disappearance two years prior, Ellerup recalled a different family vacation.'

Me too.Bbm
I missed it on the first read.
"...downstairs in the basement..."
Talk about a flipped reality.
Gaslit.
Her "reality": traveling to be with family. Rex, staying home because... summer architect rush.... completely remodeling a basement bathroom. "That's Rex."
His: he's busy murdering and dismembering young women, making such a mess he had to remodel a bathroom in that dungeon of a home. Lying with ease.
THAT'S Rex.

Oh.Me too.
So he ripped out the main bathroom and also put in a toilet/sink in a basement bathroom or made a basement 1/2 bathroom?

AE's bathroom comments are what's confusing. lolOh.
Now I'm confused.
Guessing he didn't create any kind of soa bathroom, but do I have this right -- was there only one bathroom? On the main floor. In which he made a mess.... so he pulled it out, plumbing and all, to build a new bathroom....
And also added a half bathroom in the basement, where one didn't previously exist?
It all gives me chills, whatever he did.

It does reveal how successful he was in gaslighting her. Look at how good he is to me -- working so hard, remodeling a whole bathroom all by himself. He was lying about their whole life but managed to get her to thank him for it.AE's bathroom comments are what's confusing. lol
Looks like she ended up with a new and possible murder evidence free bathroom on the main/only floor of her house and a new sink/toilet in the basement.
The basement could be replacement fixtures or new fixtures.
If there already was a sink/toilet in the basement he may have replaced them because of evidence left from murder.
If they are new fixtures he realized he needed access to a bathroom downstairs where he is said to have tortured murdered innocent women.
IMO
Wasn't he ruled out?that he is still being looked at for the Atlantic City 4
I think the murders at the house were one kind of murder..but I'm sure he has other kinds. like in isolated outdoor wooded environments for instance..trails and parks. random killings with quick disposal, maybe rapes too...he was playing peek a boo with that girl on her bike at the park...was Asa out of town?If his MO of waiting for family to leave for extended periods stays consistent, it'll greatly limit the amount of possible victims.
If LE can get a solid timeline of when he was alone, and match that against the murders and disappearances of other victims, I think that would be beneficial in connecting the dots.
Wasn't he ruled out?
We will have to wait and see. I'm just going off what we know.I think the murders at the house were one kind of murder
If he only realized in 2009 that he needed access to water in the basement to clean up, I'm led to wonder where he had been using previously? Did he have another location and had perhaps nearly been caught? Or something happened that he wanted a safer location he had more control in?AE's bathroom comments are what's confusing. lol

I agree with you that some of the weird activity the neighbors reported (for example, him watching TV on the front porch, or spending lots of time sitting in his truck in the driveway) was when he had a woman downstairs and was lulling her into thinking he was gone. Instead, he was listening for sounds from her. We can only imagine what he did if/when he heard her trying to scream for help or get loose. IIRC in the planning document, was it 2000-2002, he mentioned sound as a problem to deal with?It does reveal how successful he was in gaslighting her. That's going to take a couple of lifetimes of therapy to face. The public is none too kind to her but I sew her steeped in deep trauma. No one wants to unpack what she'll have to unpack.
Thanks to him, a whole life, a lie.
Those calls to a victim's sister, iirc weren't those traced to near his downtown office? I might be misremembering that. Sadly I can inside him sitting on the front porch, on the phone, while she's still alive in his torture chamber.
So much sadism.

he has a split personality. Architect and slob, kinda says it all.We will have to wait and see. I'm just going off what we know.
He seemed to be meticulous in his crimes. I have a hard time believing he would kill in an uncontrolled environment
