Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

When are the post 2010 victims going to surface?
Parts of Tanya Jackson and Karen Vergata were never found.

There's definitely the possibility of another undiscovered dumping ground

An investigator told the NYP that when Alica Adam's was found near the belt parkway, dogs seem to have alerted to other spots nearby.

Revolting. No wonder they had to take him in. Also shows how he enjoys being huge and infringing on pretty petite girls.

He had two beers during the time she saw him on the train. There was another woman who took a pic of him with a beer in his hand on a different train. Did Rex have a drinking problem I wonder. He didn't even wait until he got home to have a drink.

That said, it wasn't uncommon during the 50's, 60's, etc. for the workers commuting from Manhattan to the burbs to enjoy cocktails. Those trains used to have bar cars on them, not sure if they still do. I recall my former bosses who worked in NYC talking about those days. Drinking beer, martini's, etc. and playing cards. Their wives would pick them up at the station and drive them home.

At this link, it looks like today they have beer carts near the commuter trains that still serve this purpose

didn't mean to duplicate. DBM

This shows how opportunist RH is.

He may have taken advantage of similar situations going back decades. Strike up a conversation with a young mom, chat about being a new father, share photos. Guard down. Lure young women with promises of jobs, housing, cash....

Predators never sleep.

Wow! Fun times. I do recall the 3 martini lunches when I worked in corporate sales in the 70's. Guys didn't think anything of taking customers out to get loaded at lunch then go to the Athletic Club to drink and play gin rummy the rest of the afternoon. Since I didn't care for more afternoon drinking or gin rummy, I went back to the office, haha.

Gilgo Beach killings: Victims memorialized on park benches near where remains were found..The Gilgo Beach homicide victims will be permanently remembered on park benches that bear their names, alongside a quiet seaside stretch of Ocean Parkway that once served as a graveyard for their remains.
Three memorial benches are perched along the 13.7-mile-long Ocean Parkway Coastal Greenway bike path on the barrier island near Gilgo Beach. The roughly $6,300 effort completed last fall was funded by the Town of Babylon, said Thomas Stay, the town’s chief of staff.
"It hopefully sends a message to the family that 'you're not alone,'" Stay said, adding that the town also collaborated with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. "It's a simple thing, but we hope it goes a long way for those families and anyone else that has been affected by these crimes."

"The image of Asa Ellerup, Heuermann’s wife of 27 years, appears to show her preparing for an on-camera interview in the basement, where police allege Heuermann carried out his gruesome crimes.

“This promo image is an interview setup in the home's basement where he tortured and murdered at least some of the women,” one person wrote in the LISK (Long Island Serial Killer) group on Reddit.

“Asa agreed to be interviewed down there? How disgusting of everyone involved.”

Asa Ellerup, wife of Rex Heuermann, is interviewed as part of 50 Cent’s new true crime project – Gilgo Beach Killer: The House Of Secrets, set to be released on Peacock on June 10

So many things to say… and yet I am speechless.

Why is she working with 50 Cent? Doesn't he have connections in high places?

that basement is filled to the ceiling with trauma and evil...and murder. it's not a place you sit down and have a chat with the media about your murdering husband. and isn't she afraid of that basement?

It has to be for the money right? but what money will go to the families of these victims? How will she help them? my guess is she is a very limited person and is unable to see what all of this has to do with her. she has made every legal move to protect the assets of her family, taking the house and all of the properties etc and immediately divorcing Rex. it's all very cold and matter of fact.

is she truly an innocent bystander and a victim in her own way? I am interested in hearing what she says...because I think that on some level she knew something was wrong with him..and at the most they had a very unusual sexual lifestyle and I want to hear if she talks about it.

something about this seems really wrong ..like steps too far... serial killer reality tv in real time. mOO

I *totally* agree with you — post of the day related to AE in the basement. Would have given you “love eyes” for the substance of your post except I was afraid someone would think I was approving of AE and her decisions. OMO.

If she’s not a sociopath, she’ll need therapy for the rest of her life. For all the avoidance and compartmentalisation.

He didn’t bring her down in his maelstrom before. Not completely. But now she’s right there at Death’s Door.

Ellerup's attorney, Bob Macedonio, who also represents members of G-Unit, 50 Cent's rap group…

She has an adult child with special needs, for whom she is the primary caregiver. Her husband was the sole source of income for the family. I agree that she is making very poor decisions, but instead of malice or apathy I think these decisions are driven by desperation. I’m withholding judgment of her behavior until after the trial.
