Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

Than you!
Did LE remove the door and check for DNA/fingerprints?

If they had and found something it wouldn't have been returned to RH's residence.
Where is gun RH's gun collection?
imo
IIRC, the police / prosecutor still have it. Recall when Asa and her attorneys were trying to make them return the guns.

'Creepy moment Gilgo Beach suspect's wife goes into 'secret' room hidden in the basement for the first time'

okay I've watched the first episode. I see someone different on first take, I don't see a shy, insecure
door mouse. I see someone steely, someone with fortitude who worked at getting a ring from Rex.

some people think if they say something enough it will become true, some people sadly beleive
they can will reality to their wishes.

what I will say is this, a man like Rex wants to keep the wife in oblivion...I think it's part of some kind of need for grounding on the part of some killers like BTK.. to compartmentalize..this is one life I have and this life is my perfect cover.

But look at BTK's family...when his daughter is looking back she realizes her life was not normal and her father was not Ward Cleaver. ..and she now she even knows he molested her.

His daughter is the one I am most interested in... but for Asa , I think she knew and I also think she knows better than her proclamations of dinners at home and the sex life she gave him..it all sounds very " I was just a 1950's housewife and my husband eats at home and that means he was totally
satisfied and could never be a killer.

it's complicated but it sounds like a front to me.

Do we have any idea of what karen vergatas PMI was? She was found the same month Asa and Rex got married? Ik LE said she disappeared on Feb 14th 1996, but im not sure how they've confirmed that
Doesn't this mean that the witness who claimed to have gone to the house with her LE boyfriend, who picked up a woman the witness thought was Karen Vargata and took her to a swingers party at the RH home, then left a scared and naked KV -- HAD TO HAVE BEEN MISTAKEN, right? If that was February before Rex and Asa married in April?

Asa had moved in November of 1995 according to the new docuseries

does anyone think Rex stopped his murdering after the Gilgo four were discovered? I don't..I think he moved into a different area or MO to avoid suspicion and discovery...mOO
I'm conflicted.

I think it's possible he was scared away by all the press, but it's also possible he found a new dumping ground.

I feel like more girls going missing would've gotten peoples attention, but who knows.

Alicia Adams was murdered in 2014, and from what I've seen, she wasn't mentioned by name in any articles until after Rex was arrested

There was an interesting discussion here about the door when it was removed and showing photos of it.

"And, the steel door that housed the gun vault that showed his initials 'RAH' - 'Rex Andrew Heuermann' was removed from the property in May."

Thanks for the report. I will probably watch it tomorrow night, when I’ll have a little more time. I’ve also had a similar impression of AE.

She’s a strong, determined person who knows what she’s doing. She seems to have gotten a lot of advice from her attorneys that she’s chosen to follow. Some believe her attorneys discuss strategies with her husband’s attorneys. She talks to her husband regularly and has since shortly after his arrest. They both know what they’re doing and appear to be in agreement.

Most wives and partners of serial killers deal with their situation in their own ways. This one seems a bit different. IIRC, she’s the first to have her own highly paid tv special.

I feel like Victoria knows things about her father. let's face it, we were all children once and you know there is a burning curiosity about literally everything, also children are astute students of their parent's body language and conversations.

I don't want to go too far in but I feel there are more unexpressed "reasons" behind her words. I do appreciate that she is allowed to express her own feelings. mOO
I would want to know V's reasons, why she is thinking of her father as a possible sk. When I learn of it, I'm able to form an opinion on whether AE also HAD/HAS TO KNOW of his evil double life. Just now I'm thinking, AE always knew most of it except perhaps the details.

FYI: Can't view the documentary. Verrry thankful, when my fellow members are communicating about it!! :)

Actually her body was found partially decomped in July 2013, but still a realistic possibility. Poor child.

Perhaps he slowed his activity. Did his family take many vacations during those 13 years after Shannan Gilber disappeared and the victims on Gilgo Beach were discovered? I assume LE has looked into this.

personally I feel things will come out. this man is a total degenerate and it may well have extended into his family. look at the things Shannan's lawyer has declared about Victoria. For all we know Asa has been coached for years about what to say and do should he get in trouble someday. For all we know Victoria has deeply buried feelings and knowledge that is held back. In the new series first episode I do sense some rehearsed declarations. mOO

The vehicle doesn't match RH, but the mention of the dogs hitting on other spots in that area has always haunted me

Investigators learned Alicia was known to street walk near the Galaxy and Linden Hotels in East New York, Brooklyn, about six miles from where her body was found. Witnesses told cops, "They last saw her get into a car like a white Trans Am, kind of outdated. A 'Knight Rider' kind of car." This was in April 2013.

Alicia's decomposing body was found more than two months later.

This was two years after the last, known Gilgo victims were discovered on Ocean Parkway in April 2011.

The retired NYPD detective who originally responded to the crime scene on South Conduit Avenue, a service road to the Belt Parkway, described what she saw.

"Whoever killed Alicia, they just threw her," said the investigator, who didn't want to be identified. "Her hyoid bone was missing. We didn't know if she was choked. We got some DNA."

The detective was horrified by the medical examiner's report on the state of Alicia Adams' remains.

"She had 13 teeth missing," the retired cop recalled.

The detective said she'll always remember the way NYPD cadaver dogs reacted, when they got to the crime scene in the woods off South Conduit Avenue.

They focused on a second area that was just yards from Alicia Adams' decomposing body.

"Two dogs 'hit' another area," the investigator remembered. "They never did an excavation....I know there's other bodies there."

Even though the NYPD cop's belief was never proven, the retired detective had returned with me to the Alicia Adams crime scene in August 2023, a month after Rex Heuermann's arrest. She told me she was still haunted by the unsolved case, ten years later
