Very good interview.
John Ray still thinks Asa and daughter are lying in order to make their documentary more interesting to attract viewers. He's not sure he believes everything they say. He says their ultimate goal for the show is to end up distancing themselves as much as possible from Rex's crimes. Whatever version of the story the tell at the end will ultimately be a version that makes it appear they knew nothing about Rex's activities.
But, as John Ray points out, even Ray Tierney claimed that Rex likely had hundreds of sex workers who went through that house over the years. Hard for people living there to know what he was up to.
If so, did Rex use the outside entrance to the basement? Probably not always. This trial should be a real eye opener.

The fact that another petite murdered woman involved in sex work was found near a parkway, and the case received practically no coverage leads me to believe RH could've kept going and none of us would've known the difference.
It appears to have taken 10 years, and the arrest of RH, for an full length article about Alicia to be published.

The man was walking through the brush at about 9:25 p.m. Friday near South Conduit Avenue in South Jamaica when he spotted the corpse less than 50 feet from the highway, cops said.
The body was nude and badly decomposed, sources said, and was lying face up.

No matter where AE is coming from and if she has motives or not, real, imaginary or scripted she looks like an absolute fool who's getting played for defending RH and for money by 3 men, RH, attorneys MB and BM .
I think she likes having RH where he is,probably for the first time in decades he's wooing her and she fell for it.
She also has gotten the worst advice from her attorney Macedonio yet considering it's most likely RH's attorney Brown who had been law partners with Macedonio connected them the weekend of RH's arrest, so a nice clear pipe line between attorneys.
I've said it before that AE got caught between a rock (RH) and a hard place (BM) and I see Macedonio when the need arises as being in cahoots with Brown when it comes to convincing AE of whatever.

Did anyone else watch this on their phone, take a bunch of screenshots just to go back to them, and find them blank?! I was looking at the family pictures for things like the sheet found with Tanya, the belt, anything.
I'm not so sure AE knew what was going on WHEN it was going on. But I believe she knows he's guilty NOW. She may not want to admit it for whatever reason, (she's scared, for the money, loyalty, w/e) but even their daughter can look at the facts and come to terms with reality. Mom’s BS.
I felt like VH was struggling with telling how she really felt and at the same time wanting to support her mother. I can't help but feel sad for her.
VH said that in the basement where they believe he put up the plastic tarps was RH's childhood bedroom! She kind of just blurted it out. She said the idea of murdering women there would be a "little unrealistic" but "not impossible." I felt the opposite, more like - of course, that's exactly where he'd want to do it.
Before the days of Craigslist, Backpage, he had to "hunt" the streets. So, when the bodies were being discovered and it became public that they were all SW solicited on CL and such, I had thought maybe he thought it got too hot and he went back to hunting the streets instead of online, whether it was a street walker or a bike rider/jogger in Bryant Park or a woman riding the train, or even Natasha Jugo. BUT, they did say in the bail doc that he was still emailing SWs, one named Bella or Mia inquiring about her bdsm bed. So we don’t know if he was still murdering, but we do know he was still soliciting sex workers online.
John Ray mentioned Jessica Taylor was known to carry a bible around with her. I feel like we've heard this before, but It reminded me of the photo of the investigator's note of things taken from the house that said "pocket bible." Could it be hers? Sorry if this was discussed already.

Asa strikes me as an emotionally stunted woman who is deeply in denial. Deep down, she likely knows that he is guilty. However, she just can't bring herself to admit it. She gave him her best years, and raised a family with him, so I kind of feel for her to an extent.
The blank screenshots are likely due to DRM software. Netflix does the same thing. You have to disable certain settings in your browser to take screenshots.
JR has been very quiet since his last presser so I was really looking forward to hearing his input and just when they got going the interview was over, 3:33 secs.
Leaves me curious as to why.
