Haha!! Not that elaborate. Dog was telling me which yard he was going to walk into to the left or to the right and when.... telepathically relaying which way she was going to move wayyyy ahead time. Of course, it was all just in my head.
My aunts/uncles/parents all smoked in the 70s, took a near-50 year break, and have started again (with MMJ cards) to help with the aches and pains of aging. They have all commented on how much stronger the weed is today!

My partner has bad reactions to weed. He will believe he’s having a heart attack and dying, and even lose vision (it triggers ocular migraines for him). I can imagine if Giovanni hadn’t smoked before, even if it wasn’t laced, it could cause a breakout, especially being with basically strangers in an unfamiliar area.

RIP Gio. What a tragedy.

That where I was leaning due to the place he was found. IF they were disposing of a body they would not do it at a major intersection like that.

I am guessing he smoked weed and it was laced with fentanyl, angel dust or something else or even high sativa content of just plain marijuana will do it.... and he just freaked out, maybe hallucinating and unable to make good decisions as to where he was and what he was doing.

Regardless, this is a very sad case for that young man. My heart feels for his poor family.

PS - Marijuana is legal in my state and I got some street pot and tried it again (after 40 years of abstinence because it was illegal) and made a huge mistake of smoking a huge amount in about 5 minutes. THC in pot is 5 times what it was when I had last smoked it. It may have also been laced with something since it was street weed given to me by a friend.

I literally had to think to walk to put one foot in front of the other and thought I was communicating with the dog thru the leash as I tried to walk her. I came right back in the house and tried to sleep but was up all night just THINKING.... solving all the worlds problems. It was surreal. I've never had an experience like that ever before. It scared me pretty badly and when I smoked again, it was low amount and weed that was grown legally by a friend so I knew it wasn't laced. I can envision him freaking out and after being let out, totally disoriented and maybe even thought a swim would calm him down as crazy as that sounds.
Wow..I would not have liked to be in your shoes... that heavy *thinking* part...

So many people have recommended use of MM with my horrendous back and nerve pain...but I am constantly reminded of the intensity differences, today. With one surgery a few years ago, my neighbor gave me a *cookie*. When I started to chew it, I forgot about what I was eating...and just mindlessly kept chewing. I was blindsided to what I had done! My daughter had flown down for my surgery ..and I called her phone and apparently just kept saying *I don't know what's wrong with me*
It took a whole day...
I've not tried any since.

I can't do MM either. I also have the back and nerve pain. It makes me paranoid and wired.
I can see G. also just demanding to be let out of the car. Maybe he just realized he did NOT want to go with these people and made the decision to go home. Got out of the care, headed to lights he saw and texted as he walked... Hoping mom would come pick him up. Then he fell/got hurt, ended up in that ditch/pond. There just isn't enough time for so much to have happened to 'hide' a body etc. and NOT where it was. Pushed out of the car, yes. Just the short time period is whats throwing me off more as to it being criminal, unless it was planned ahead of time. And then, Why? I don't like the family blaming LEO for not searching the 'entire' area. we are talking 200 miles of highway. That is a LOT of distance. If they tracked his cell phone to that area (family) why did it take them that long to search themselves t here? Or did they also miss the body for days on end? I think it was down under and could not be seen until it 'floated' or the pond area dried up and water level dropped. You just cannot check EVERY single area. Also, he was 18, not kidnapped, and went voluntarily, it will be handled differently.

I smoke now... but only what is grown by a friend and only 1 to 3 puffs then I am done.

The strains he gives me are "indica" which is much more calming. I only smoke 2 to 3 times a week. it is very relaxing these strains.

Manatee County is releasing video of a figure they believe in GP running across 75 and towards the pond. Press release said the car was already north of that area and he was alone.

Looks like he jumped the cement barricade and ran down the embankment right into the pond.

Hopefully the Toxicology report will answers some questions.

He ran right into the water without knowing it was there. Very sad situation.

Amazing that LE could find him on video.

The cousins said Pelletier started talking about how he was a demon, how he had a knife, and he was going to wreck the car. They told police Pelletier was trying to open the car doors while the vehicle was still moving.

The driver pulled the car over, and Pelletier ran out onto I-75, almost getting struck by a truck. He left his backpack and cellphone in the car, so the cousins left the items on the side of the road where he got out. That was the last time any of them saw him.

Who provided the smokes? That's the question now really. It's so darn sad that was his experience, trying to spend time with relatives.

“Wells said Pelletier had been in contact with one of the cousins before they met up, and the two discussed smoking weed, which Pelletier said he hadn’t done in a while…The cousins said Pelletier started talking about how he was a demon, how he had a knife, and he was going to wreck the car. If the toxicology screen shows the drug that caused Gio’s behavior, I wonder if the cousins will be brought up on involuntary manslaughter charges, or a charge for not rendering aid. When he ran into traffic, they should have called 911 immediately.

Were they so fearful of a drug bust on themselves, that they let Gio run to his own death. Then just ignored the entire crisis like it didn’t happen and kept driving to Mims. Such blatant disregard for Gio’s safety and well being.

I don't know what will happen legally, if anything, but leaving him on a highway and not caring how he would get back to where he was staying is so mean. They knew he was from out of town.

If he went crazy on them and they didn't want him in the car, at least call 911 without leaving your own name.

Not sure that would've made a difference in terms of what ultimately happened, except they could live the rest of their lives knowing they did the right thing.

Thanks.
This explains my earlier question why his things were left on the side of the road.

I think they are mis -remembering .
I say this because ...I am pretty sure I was born with a doobie in my binkie. Everyone says it ,but weed has been what it has been forever. IMO

I used to have bad reactions to it as well . I am not even a weed smoker, but my parents lived it. The ways weed shaped my life are insane. Then I grew up and they made it legal and honestly is kinda hard to have the whole thing not matter anymore. Off topic I know . But in summary People who take long breaks from smoking , always swear it is "killer 🤬🤬🤬"

There are plenty of strong lights at that interchange. I wonder if he really didn't see the water?

Seems like a steep decline. I do not think he saw it. I think he was running, fell in, panicked.

Moo...sounds like he was in a panicked altered state. So he was running not looking where he was going. Personally I see it as tragic accident. Yes he did not know them....but they did not know him either. He said a lot of strange stuff and was trying to exit auto. I would of let him out to. .moo
