Another Detroit-born boy dear to my heart. IIRC he briefly sang with Bob Seger's band. You Belong to the City was written by Glenn for the old Miami Vice tv show. He played a smuggler pilot in an early episode. What a blast from the past! We used to watch the MV crew blow up cars and boats from a high rise in downtown Miami.

The Eagles were with me in (and out of) every romantic relationship of my life.

Soon after reading that Glenn was no longer with us, I thought of this unique Henley arrangement of "Unclouded Day". While it's not for everyone, it seems right for the moment.

Love the Eagles so much. Been teary-eyed since hearing the news. Desperado my all time favorite, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Lyin Eyes, on and on. Not one bad lick ever done by them Boys of Summer.

I swear I can't get this off my mind. Saw them 7 times and every single time got hoarse from singing along and bruised hands from clapping.

My dad used to say God has infinite wisdom but this is so hard to understand.

Glenn Frye you brought so much joy to my ears and my heart. Heart breaking now.

RIP you beautiful man.

Me neither tezi. I find myself thinking about him numerous times throughout the day. I just don't think the Eagles can continue without him...and maybe they don't want to. Just breaks my heart. I can't seem to shake this.

So talented and funny, what a voice.

Desperado is my most favorite song of all time. And I have been around going on 60 years.

Still can't believe it.
