I wonder if that would be like what happens to welders when they get the little metal shavings in their eyes, they kinda work their way out over time?

My husband had a metal shaving in his eye and the eye doctor used a tiny dremel type tool to drill it out. He was awake for it looking at the doctor drilling in his eye,it was completely numb. It took about an hour to get it out.
