Jon Montgomery was reportedly last seen just outside Playa del Ingles on the Spanish island (Gran Canaria) at 2am on Wednesday.

His brother, Stu has since launched an online appeal in a bid to find Jon, who suffers from mental health issues but has never gone missing before.

In a Facebook post he said: "Jon hasn't been seen or been in contact with anyone since 2am on Wednesday morning.

I was born on this island. The article is wrong. It names his last known location as Playa del Ingles which is in the capital, Las Palmas, on the north end of the island. His brother says he was last seen in Maspalomas which is on the south side of the island. I hope he’s found soon. Will look to see if I can find any local news about it.
