Anecdotal generalizations does not equal evidence for the argument. How is romance relevant? Why did you mention your own age but not your male partner?
Sorry. He was same age as me....She had a child..it changes balance of relationship.. the male is no longer # one...the mother is no longer # one... Age does not matter..

So why bring up your own example, since you were the same age? It goes against your argument that women marry older men.

Sounds like the cops are coming down hard on B.

Caroline's parents where older ..so seems logical she would be attracted to older men. And honestly it is common for women to want stable men who are established in their business...usually 30 to 40 years old.
Really? when they're 16? My daughter and her pals at that age regarded anyone more than a year older than themselves as 'too old'. Caroline was a child when she met him anyway, not a 'woman'.

Her dad is 78...so 58 when she was born..just the fertility of females..her mom is definitely much younger than her husband. Should we judge their relationship? Moo

So he killed her because she was young?
If sb kills it is perpetrator's decision! Victim's age and other things dont matter! Every reason is good enough for a killer.

Γλυκά Νερά: «Γίνονται έρευνες σε πολλά μέτωπα, υπάρχουν στοιχεία», λέει ο σύζυγος της Καρολάιν
So, first of all, a quick transcript of the article:
  • B says that he completely trusts the police, and is sure that they have evidence, as well as information, that is important to not be leaked to the public.
  • The police hasn't disclosed if B went indeed to the Police HQ for identification purposes, regarding the Georgian who was arrested.
  • DNA and prints that have been collected are deemed "usable", however they have not matched anyone in the system yet.
On to the police reporter, he states:
  • That there could be important developments and/or twists in the case the following days.
  • That, in spite of the efforts of the authorities, there doesn't appear to be neither CCTV footage of the robbers approaching/ entering the house, nor cellphone activity or other evidence that could lead to the identification of the three robbers.
  • That the amount of forensic evidence collected from the house is minimal.
  • That the police are still searching for clues and possible connections among other criminal cases.
  • That there is a statement from a private citizen that adds another dimension to the tragic incident- says they'll elaborate more on that as the case progresses.
He then adds that the police are struggling to find answers to the following questions:
  • Why did the perps feel the need to suffocate Caroline, by a manner that would require them to apply force to her face for approximately 7-8 minutes, while she would probably lose consciousness and be incapacitated after only 1-2 minutes. There's even a reference to George Floyd and how Chauvin killed him by applying force to his neck for more than 8 minutes. Police reporter points out that, according to descriptions (doesn't say whose), she was fighting back and was trying to defend her baby and that's what lead the perps restrain her in such a violent way. However, there were no defensive wounds/ scratches/evidence of a fight found on her body.
  • Why did the perps use ropes and tapes to tie up B in the manner that has been described (head covered in tape, fetal position, with his hands IN FRONT, rather than behind his back), whereas they tied up Caroline's hands behind her back, using only her clothes. Points out that, during robberies, usually the entire household is tied up to chairs, with their hands behind their backs.
  • Why did the perps bother to remove the memory cards from the cameras, which is more complex, compared to just removing the devices themselves and taking them along.
  • Caroline's TOD has yet to be determined.
  • Why didn't the perps cut off the electricity and the phone lines.
  • Why did they leave B's working cellphone behind.

Hmmmmmm
I’m not saying that this is the case and I don’t want to victim blame but I think the husband has some difficult questions to answer. The way in which his wife was tied up is an oxymoron to the way in which he was tied up.
Huge suspicions Re removing the memory card from CCTV system (unless I’m reading that part wrong), no defensive wounds on wife, strangled for 7-8 minutes, husband allegedly tells where money is in the monopoly box and then they tied him up..... Questions Questions.......

He would of been in his mid 20's when they started dating.

No. She would have been prepubescent and he'd be charged with pedophilia. He met her in 2017, when he was either 29 or 30, and she was 16. He 'courted' her until she turned 18, they married in 2019, and in 2021, he's 33 and she's a dead 20 year old.

I married at 18 .. separated at 19.... divorced by 21...I do see many women married to men 20-30-40 their senior. Romance is overrated
I am sorry for your troubles, hope things are better for you now.

No. He's 33 now and Caroline was 20 when she was killed. They met when she was 16, that was 4 years ago. He was 29 when he first set his sights on her.

I, too, believe that the age gap wouldn't be an important detail, if we were talking about, let's say, a 40 year-old woman marrying a 52 year-old man. But in this case it got my attention as well. Now, this is just speculation from my part, but let's not forget that Caroline grew up and met B in a small island, where people tend to be a little close-minded, hold traditional values, etc... I find it really hard to believe that their relationship was just universally accepted by everyone. Of course, that doesn't mean anything. People don't need anyone's approval to start a relationship, and perhaps Caroline wanted that lifestyle and was happy with it. Her therapist will definitely provide the police with more accurate information on that, compared to her social media or her photos. But no, a 28/29 year old falling in love/courting a 16-year old would absolutely not be considered a normal occurrence, neither here, nor, I believe, anywhere else in the world.

Would 10k fit into a Monopoly box?

Would 10k fit into a Monopoly box?
If it consisted of 50 euro bills, that makes 200 of them. I think they would fit, especially if they had removed some of the initial contents of the box.

It depends on the denominations of the notes.

Ten 1,000 Euro notes would easily fit,
one hundred 100 Euro notes would probably lift up the lid of the box,
two hundred 50 Euro notes and you'd probably have to take the game contents out to make it a worthwhile hiding spot.

That is just beyond a joke Dotta
Absolutely haha. Another thing - forensic evidence. 3 men crawled through the window, there should be lots of fibres from clothes as perpetrators ALWAYS leave sth in the crime scene. The dog - I bet poor huskie fought for his life. Maybe even bit sb and blood of a killer is on his teeth. Caroline - there must be clothes' fibres of attackers as well.
