GREENSBURG, Ind. — Seven people are recovering after a car crashed into the restaurant they were eating at in the Historic Greensburg SquareTuesday evening.
Just before 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8, Greensburg police responded to reports of a vehicle that struck several civilians at the Carriage On The Square Smokehouse, in the 100 block of North Broadway Street, near East Main Street.
The Greensburg Police Department confirmed the driver of the car was 83-year-old Cleo Duncan, the former Indiana State Representative for District 67. She served the district from 1994-2010.
Greensburg is roughly 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis, in Decatur County.
