Greta 1/12/09 Discussing the Case

Lee is a good bet! I had originally thought of him, G and C, but wonder when they could have communicated with KC since she's not accepting visits from them.
It could've been since last summer, something he'd been sitting on, didn't know what to do, then tipped off the PIs. I just think it was coincidental that he seemed to drop out of sight for a while as his parents were still going around with the 'live Caylee' sightings. Just a thought! MOO

Maybe thats exactly what they were doing...Getting rid of valuable evidence. If they never found the body KC could maybe get off the murder 1 charge. The might not have cared about disturbing, only destroying!

I think this is exactly the mission of the PI. If the remains had been found by him, I bet they would have been permanently disposed of.

Was it a coincidence that at the same time this was going on, that Cindy and George were talking about a new sighting - the little girl playing at the Florida Mall.

And DC won't give them his phone records. Like they can't get them. Another dumb azz in this case. These people ALL just amaze me thinking by NOT giving LE something they can keep it hidden.
Yes, just as you said, the FBI doesn't need his copy of his phone records. They can get them with or without his approval!! :)

That's the impression I got that he was looking for some kind of evidence in the bags that would be easily visible and didn't care if he slashed it or not in opening the bags.

Like a bedspread or sheet wrapped around something?

Oh I believe that too. Defense PIs were going to turn the remains over to LE? I don't think so! MOO

And KB from the news station, having seen the whole tape and being one of the only ones who also heard audio said that the house was driving distance, not walking distance, although she didn't know the exact location of it. I got the impression she knew that from what she saw/heard/and presumably convos with JH...but then just a few minutes later LP said it was across the street.

Of course NG didn't catch the discrepancy and ask either how certain they were. It sounds far more dramatic for the house to be "right there" like NG was wanting to convey.

Interestingly, the video on Greta and NG was not the same segments. Wonder if that's how LA's lawyer will attempt to account for that "wasn't the video I saw"?

I heard that too. KB definitely said that there's enough distance between where the remains were found and where the abandoned house is located - that one would have to get in a car and drive. I think LP, not being there in Florida and not knowing the area, doesn't realize that the house is not right there across the street.

At the house? Why? This would indicate to me that whoever was directing them didn't actually know where the body was, they were just guessing.

Or they were looking for both a body and evidence, which may have been in two locations? As in KC left Caylee in one place but went and hid some other things at the house? So it was a multi-destination trip from the beginning?

With this crew, most anything seems possible. LOL:crazy:

Why were they directed to the abandoned house which was, from what we learned tonight, no place near the area where Caylee was found?

I agree with what Boston said on the NG thread. I think the abandoned house might be a location where other evidence was disposed of. It makes a lot of sense if Casey thought of disposing of things that could be linked to herself in another location than with the body. Casey supposedly made the remark......."they haven't even found her clothes yet." Maybe the abandoned house is where the clothing was disposed of.

I find it very difficult to believe that either of the PI's would have moved or disposed of Caylee's remains if they'd found her. How many people now have been accused of that on this forum and every single time the accusations have been proven wrong. In reality, there are very few people who would hide or move a body, especially when the victim is a child.

If the PI's had found the body they'd be heros, they'd get so many new cases that they wouldn't be able to keep up. Why would they sabotage their own careers and risk prison time to help a murderer who is practically a stranger to them. They aren't even getting paid. It makes no sense.

We don't know that Casey actually made that remark or that the clothing was not found with Caylee's remains.

*The video I saw on Greta was different than the one I have watched here on WS. He picked up and started to unfold a pink and white sheet or comforter it looked like - maybe a sleeping bag, and I could have sworn I saw a book like Caylee was reading lying on the ground.*

*Snipped to save space.

Could anyone see this clearly? Remember how LE went back to the homestead and collected more evidence? One of the things I noticed in evidence photos was what looked like a small pillow, white with little pink roses on it (I think?). I wonder if it matched the blanket!

If he doesn't know, he probably shouldn't say anything. When I don't know something, I don't just make up a story about it.

The reporter from KFTV says the abandoned house is not within walking distance of the area where Caylee was found, but LP just said that it's right across the street and that the PI's were looking there because of the cement blocks. That makes no sense to me at all. How would they know there were cement blocks at the building before they looked there and found the cement blocks?

Because someone told them to look for three cement blocks, and if found, they would know they had the right location.

I can't see Casey (Anthony) putting markers there though as I would imagine she'd want Caylee as hidden as possible. But what if somebody else close to her put them there to direct the PIs to the area? Just MOO

That's exactly my theory. Info was transmitted, markers were placed, enter DC and JH.

We don't know that Casey actually made that remark or that the clothing was not found with Caylee's remains.

There had to be a reason why the PI wanted to investigate that abandoned house. He just didn't look.......he tore up a couple of boards and used a trowel to dig in the dirt. There was a partially buried plastic bag that he used a knife to tear open. It appeared he was trying to find something specific.

It makes sense that the abandoned house was a place of interest because of something someone said.

i wanted NG to ask Kathy B what else she heard!

Dr Baden said the bones remained in the bag? I had the definite understanding that many of the bones were scattered. Who said that? We saw LE sifting dirt looking for bones. The skull was in the bag, but has anyone else said that the bones were all in the bag?

I'm going to lose my mind before this is over.

I lost my mind when Baden said that! He knows the TRUTH about the bones & still he LIED to our faces!

Everyone knows LE said the skull was the only body part in the bag & it took DAYS to collect the rest of the bones..His freaking WIFE knows this is exactly why she couldn't get into the crime scene & there he is on national tv making up all that CRAP!

I'm sure he was trying to help her & the defense..This makes me so :furious:

My money is on a psychic or on someone in the neighborhood who knew about the abandoned house.

I'm almost positive I heard KB say earlier on JVM she did NOT know the location of the house :waitasec:
