Well, should this case turn in the direction of a homicide and goes to trial, I sure hope the judge states no books, no TV specials, no movies etc., etc. by anyone in the Anthony family.

A judge can't do that. The Son of Sam laws apply only to the criminal, not their families. As far as we know, the other Anthony's have not done anything that they will be charged with.

This just happened in Orlando with another nut case parent. We never hear about it anymore because the media was so concerned about the mother and her lies. In fact, when was the last time anybody from the media in Orlando mentioned Trenton Duckett? His mom, Melinda Duckett was a liar and seemed pretty stable until Nancy Grace pushed her over the edge questioning her about taking a lie detectors test. Well, she blew herself away and never told anyone what she did. Trenton's things were out back in the garbage: his toys, snacks, and lots of photgraphs, including his sonogram. Everybody was on to her so she checked out. Stiill no Trenton.

If Casey takes her life I'm sure that will be Nancy's fault too.
Were you watching the same Melinda Duckett I saw?! WTH?! She didn't seem stable to me at all! I don't think there are many here who don't know who Trenton Duckett is or was. Trenton was mentioned a couple of weeks ago when Josh went to meet with the Anthony's in Orlando actually.

I don't think it is too remote to think that Casey could or would commit suicide. She has nothing now and is probably one of the most hated mothers in America as it stands. Her brand is as a liar, thief, and spoiled rotten $itch! It isn't going to get better from here on out either. Men, other than that freaky looking Bounty Hunter, are going to steer completely clear of her no matter what happens. A woman like Casey can't tolerate that as men are her ego. It is how she judges herself. I can fully well see her taking her own life given the chance.

aye! Steadfast!
I just want them to simply find Caylee and punish whoever has made her disappear.

I agree this forum has become 3 times worse that IS boards and Topix combined. If I wanted to hear everybody in this case called b@$ch and worse I would have stayed with Topix. I thought the posts here were more mature but the posts with vomit and spit at the end makes me wonder the age and education level of the poster. We have not been given any forensic results and there fore can not say without a doubt that Caylee is not still alive. The bond for Casey is already set at a ridicules level for the crimes she is charged with. At this point I can only say very happy I do not live in Florida.

:boohoo:

Yes, they have. Now it is entirely another question if they will be charged with it...but I do believe there could be charges brought against both Cindy and George at this point.

I think part of it is simply Jose Baez wanting the LE to put up or shut up. If they don't have anything else to charge her with we will soon find that out and so will he.

PattyG, I forget. What is her court date about on the 21st?

It's the arraignment regarding the child neglect, etc., charges.

It's the arraignment regarding the criminal charges.

So, she could go back to jail after that hearing, even though bond has been posted?

Well, only time will tell regarding the Anthony's. Thanks for the "Son of Sam" law. I knew it was called something, but I have to admit I am not on the ball tonight ... dealing with "steroid rage" here.

Wow, this is really turning into a circus.

I missed NG and Greta tonight. I'm trying to catch up on the thread to get a feel for what is going on. I hate to ask everyone to rehash what's been said, but I am a bit confused (I should have watched Greta!!!)

My question is this:

Did either NG or Greta ask Padilla what the conditions would be for Casey's release? Where do they plan on keeping her?

Working for an attorney, many times I see clients bonded out. They have to check in with the bail bondsmen once a week, etc or the bondsmen will pick them up and take them back to jail. If they are saying that they will have her watched 24/7, what's to say that the Anthony's or whoever is stupid enough to take this girl in, will allow them to move in and, essentially, become part of the family?

It seems that the Anthony's (in their alternate reality world) would have her come back to their home and slam the door in the face of the person supposed to be watching her. They would probably think they could get away with that then hold her in the house so that the bondsmen couldn't take her back to jail for violating the bond conditions.

If the Anthony's are claiming that they have not spoken to Padilla, then there is no guarantee that she will even have anywhere to go when she gets out. I highly doubt that a judge will allow her and the bondsman to play the game of cat and mouse and move all over God's creation because they fear she will be harmed. They will have her on house arrest, so she will have to be confined to a given location where LE can find her at all times.

Maybe I am wrong, and maybe I need to try to catch the rerun of Greta tonight, but this just isn't making any sense. Where did this Padilla guy come from? Let's pray that they slap murder charges without bond on her tomorrow.
I haven't found a name of the rock he crawled out from under, but it is in California. Yes, this Padilla fella does think he will be "sitting" on Casey and thinks that he will do so outside the family home in another location.

He has a television show on National Geographic (IIRC) and this is all hype for him. I look at it as cheap advertising and a way to get his name involved in this case...the same way I look at the new spokesman, Larry Garrison, who looked and sounded like a total dud on Greta tonight earlier.

Only if they charge her with something else! But if they don't charge her with anything else, then she is free until they go back to court, I believe. If I am not correct, someone will help me out here.

Someone said earlier that Padilla has run for governor of Cali several times and lost. Then ran for mayor of Sacramento and lost again. Publicity 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Well I always said I wish Dog and Beth would get a hold of Casey. Beth would get the truth out of her. I would feel better if Dog was the bounty hunter involved. LOL

That is a part of it. I do think that Jose wants her out of jail and if this is the only way to do it...he will. Does it surprise me that he would "crawl into bed" with such people to make it happen? Not at all. He has nothing to lose.

I live about 70 miles from you. Here, it is the heat and the humidity. And gas pump rage.

I have to agree with that! At least Beth could just hug her and smother her til she talks. LOL

Wow, ok...was he questioned about where he was going to shack up with her? Conditions of her bond? I mean, if he is going to watch her, he will have to keep his eyes on her 24/7. I'm curious as to his conditions for bond, etc. This guy is slime for even entertaining getting her out.
