i'm still curious as to exactly what she spent all this $$ on.. to run up all that debt would show a serious spending problem...she had no bills no rent...no car payment or insurance...etc
she didn't have to buy food or gas
I know that "partying" can get quite expensive, but really, where did all this money go. If she spent it on drugs wouldn't there have been evidence of a bad habit!
How much does a decent drug habit cost these days??
I could see her spending it on clothes and shoes, but the clothes on the arrest warrant didn't seem like expensive name brand clothing.
I guess being a "starbucks"aholic could get pretty pricy though.. I don't get it

Gifts for TonE? And drugs.

She wasn't on welfare, she was "working"! Even though she wasn't working, she was stealing money.

you can still collect some kind of assistance being a single mom and "working"

does anyone know if casey was on welfare?

IIRC, when Cindy was being questioned for the bond hearing, and they were asking her about Caycee;s employment / insurance benefits and Cindy said something like, she didn't pay for caylee's birth and she thought that Caycee's insurance paid for it. I would post the link by I don't know or am not allowed to post link.

Yes, I had at least a little hope for Lee but after what LP said today, he's just like the rest of them. IMO
Bet that's the last time Leonard will take Lee's word for anything.

Rick also said there was an argument on Fathers Day at the Nursing Home! His Mom had confronted CINDY about the theft that CASEY did...she was mad Cindy wasn't doing anything about it. Rick felt that might have been the reason for the fight overheard on Fathers Day.

On Cindy's myspace page she references paying "medical bills" during her rant on July 3rd..I think that was the date IIRC.

http://www.spyzone.com/ccp0-display/listeningdevices.html
Listening Devices and Audio Surveillance equipment can listen, monitor, record, and store voice conversations. Listening devices in conjunction with voice recorders or voice loggers can save conversations for legal evidence collection and monitor conversations while they take place.
Listening Devices can help evaluate threats and safety levels of people in many situations. A Wireless Mic or Wireless Microphone listening device broadcasting surveillance conversations to a radio receiver or communications receiver help law enforcement officers gather and store information. This audio surveillance system is one of many available to police agencies that need listening devices to collect evidence on suspected criminals.

Directional Microphones or Sound Amplifiers

covert-listening-devices-directional.gif
These covert listening devices effectively boost your hearing capabilities. Sound is often boosted by at least 40 decibels (they usually have a safety measure to cut out any loud sounds that would damage your hearing).

Use these microphones to magnify faint or distant sounds from hundreds of yards away – perfect for stake outs or wildlife observation. For a good selection of first rate directional microphones visit spychest.com or pigear.com

Listen Through Walls

listen-through-walls.jpg
You can get professional devices that hear through walls and doors from hundreds of yards away. You can attach the device to the wall in question, retreat to a safe location and listen in to anything picked up.

You can get both wired and wireless – wireless is suited for highly covert operations when you need to be concealed whilst listening in. Good covert listening devices can usually hear through walls up to a thickness of about half a meter. Listen through walls.

if she was on welfare...she and Caylee would have been insured through the state
It costs alot of $$ to have a baby these days

From what I understand they consider the income from the household, so she may very well have nt been eligible for assistance, welfare..whatever they call it now.

I know...that's just sickening, isn't it? Poor old guy, helpless in the nursing home, and his granddaughter's at his and his poor little old wife's home stealing the money he needs to pay the place to care for him. And from the grandmother's bedroom, too.

It sounds like Casey's grandmother wasn't about to stand for being taken by her and wanted the bank to press charges, but according to what Rick said, Cindy and George were somehow able to get her out of it. If they'd done the right thing then and let her suffer some consequences, I wonder if Casey would have had the opportunity to do what she did later.

On a brighter note...go Panthers! Who have we got tomorrow night, the Skins? All the Charlotte-area locals should get together sometime for some football viewing and message board discussing! ;)
:seeya:
I think there are charges relating to elder-abuse that could be brought in addition to the monetary theft, but what seems so bad to me about this is the enabling going on that Cindy & George covered it up.

yes, I'll be there tomorrow night! :cat:

I really feel sorry for the little dogs and cat in their house ~ it must be a nightmare!

I agree! I've had to stop screaming at the television every time something absurd is said (which is often!) because my own little furry children were getting upset! :wolf2::cat: I can't imagine what those poor little babies must be going through. :(

I'm glad that's finally been explained what most likely caused that fight.

LP did look a little disappointed. Well, we tried to warn TP.

That's very true, but then her parents would probably have found out she applied for assistance. Casey got all she needed as she just took it!

Actually I could have respected Casey more if she applied for public assistance rather than lying about working and then stealing from everyone.

OOOOH, I had forgotten about that. What was that, another lie!!! Good Lord, we should have a thread titled LIES and see how many we can come up with. This family is unbelievable:bang::eek:
