Unless the forensics say a decomposing body was there then in my opinion there wasn't. Without forensics you can not prove a dead body was there.

I think Casey is going to walk too. Hate to say it but I do. I really really think if LE had ANYTHING AT ALL she wouldn't be home right now. I also think Baez is smart enough to do a deal on these neglect charges and get her a low jail amount. I think she will get a little jail time. Maybe 6 months and thats it. I tend to doubt it will go to trial.

I hope we are wrong - but this is starting to remind me of the OJ case. I love our democracy and freedom - but who thought that the justice system could provide so many loopholes for criminals? So here's the deal - don't say a WORD and you can get away with murder? I mean, really! I'm no legal expert, but perhaps I should study up to make sense of this circus.

And you know what bothers me most? I have 2 close girlfriends going through in vitro - desperately trying to conceive. They would have give their eye-teeth for a Caylee....

With new charges they would, but I personally think they are going to let Casey and that whole family self destruct and THEN file their charges. They don't have to be in a hurry............time is on their side.

No, he's not a public defender, he did however work for the prosecutors office in one of the Central/southern FL counties out of law school, although I do not recall without looking which county

Yes, and I wondered how many other attorney's spend so much personal time with their clients? I'm trying to not draw conclusions, but when something doesn't set right it does raise a flag in my mind.

More than anything, I think Baez has been STAR STRUCK by the media from the get go.

I think he's absolutely the WORST type of lawyer IF the parents want to ever find out what happened to Caylee because he's too eager to enable Casey's lies in the name of defending her against worse charges.

Then again, I believe that's the family's own motive so they're probably satisfied with the job he's doing to keep Casey from saying ANYTHING even remotely honest.


Too bad this will come back to bite them all in court but hey.... IT'S ALL ABOUT CASEY! Always was.

No they do not have to tell him. If DNA wa back that lead to further charges he wouldn't know at this point..and won't know until the GJ brings in charges to hold her on capitol murder. Then he still will not know any of the evidence until he files motions for disvoery of the evidence.

The prosecution has until November, her next hearing on these current charges, to come forward with more concrete chrges through the GJ if they want ot follow through with that route. That means they have time to get everything right and inorder. After she is charged with murder, not before , the defense can and will file motions to see what cards the prosecution is holding. To me, the defense talking about the DNA at this point tlees me they believe further charges will be coming....otherwise they wouldn't even discuss the DNA.

It makes it a little hard for Baez to really plan his strategy, certainly what to say about kidnappers, etc. as he tries his case in the media, if he doesn't know what's coming down the road from the forensics. On the other hand, this nebulous double speak isn't working very well either. One softball interview with Greta had him looking very unsure.

Look at Drew Peterson. Looks like he is getting away with killing at least 2 women and they can't get anything on him to arrest him! I think he looks guilty just with what we know but I guess they think it isn't enough to get a conviction. I would have any problem convicting him myself. He is out dating and living the life of riley while 2 women are in the grave.
