Totally...I personally think they have been back for a while but my question is does LE have to share that with him...

If and when there's further charges (murder?), they have to share all evidence with the defense attorney. If the lab results are back, they're holding that information until they have to release it. From the view point of LE, they're letting the circus go on while LE continues to gather evidence. When they're ready, they'll make additional charges and then they have to share with Baez - discovery.

Right. And some other random person that no one is missing or talking about was dead in that trunk...as well as the backyard. Who do you think was decomposing in the trunk?

The drug dealer?? ROFL~~:Banane36:

Look at Drew Peterson. Looks like he is getting away with killing at least 2 women and they can't get anything on him to arrest him! I think he looks guilty just with what we know but I guess they think it isn't enough to get a conviction. I would have any problem convicting him myself. He is out dating and living the life of riley while 2 women are in the grave.

Correct, there are a number of missing wives out there that are published here on WS. But the personality of Drew reminds me of Casey's personality. They are both pathological and manipulating. I am quite sure Casey has used her ways to manipulate the GDparents and Baez quite easily.

I find that very offensive. I am southern and just because I talk slow dosen't men I think slow or am a liar. That is very offensive to all Southern people as we all talk slow and I love the way it sounds.
I think she referred that it was "in her book"...no need to take offense. BTW...I know plenty of southerners who talk a mile a minute. That's why it is this poster's opinion. JMO

I don't believe she is alive.
But if she is, she must NEVER be returned to the SCUM that is her family.
Oh you can count on that. She will never live with ANY of the Anthony family again.

So basically what Baez is saying is that they have come up with a defense strategy that will address her fear of telling people what happened to Caylee and still offer up anonymity. They have to keep the perps anonymous so that they are not questioned why she did not persue them. So....now if she gets out of jail and starts giving up info, specific info on how to "find Caylee", then that will hurt her defense because it will crush the anonymity factor...so basically the new excuse for not talking is....it will ruin the current defense strategy if the specific info she provides does not produce Caylee. Apparently her attorney has no faith in any information she would provide or felt the info she was planning on providing to her family (lies) should not be givin. It's all about the defense strategy. She has been told, "if you cannot give info that you are 100% sure will bring Caylee home alive, don't give any at all". It could be used against her in court and even her atty knows she is full of sh**!!!!

I think Casey is going to walk too. Hate to say it but I do. I really really think if LE had ANYTHING AT ALL she wouldn't be home right now. I also think Baez is smart enough to do a deal on these neglect charges and get her a low jail amount. I think she will get a little jail time. Maybe 6 months and thats it. I tend to doubt it will go to trial.
Who knows what the Orlando cops have, or don't have, or will have, or won't have, but I'm pretty sure they're not going to tell us, at least not now. If Caylee doesn't turn up though, with what we know, with Caylee's mom's lying and her obstruction of the police investigation, with what her mom and dad have said publically, the circumstances of the child's disappearance, I think LE has a decent case to get her for serious jail time, maybe even manslaughter or negligent homicide even without a body, even if there's nothing else. There is absolutely no evidence that this child was kidnapped. I think don't think a jury will believe that for a minute. I thought they'd never get Aaron Thompson who caused his dauther's then said she'd run away. He was out of jail for years until they finally arrested and it looks like they have him dead to rights.

Does anyone know if it is legal for LE to put some bugs at the Anthony home and not tell them? IF it is do you think they have done that?

They do have to have a warrant signed by a judge. Nowadays, it's not necessary to place any sort of devices in a home. They've got special, very sensitive equipment in mobile vans. They can be parked down the street or around the corner and listen to conversations.

You just might be my twin! I totally agree - that Drew is a smug you-know-what. I can't tell you how many times I've thought, where the heck did he put Stacey's body??? Amazing - I guess to be able to commit that sort of crime, your mind is ripe with being able to hide evidence, lie, etc.etc. Sheesh.

uh, what? You are reaching here - I've lived in GA all my life - however I don't think she was talking about an accent or affect for that matter - she was talking about his deliberate slow way of gathering his thoughts and speaking.

I agree........I am a Southerner also and his words were not the "southern drawl" (actually had kind of a northern twang) but slow deliberate speech.

Just for a moment lets assume that LE does have evidence that Caylee is dead & that her body was in the trunk. I pray to God that this is not the case but for the sake of arguement lets assume that they do.They still don't know where the body is & the moment they charge Casey the clock starts ticking on the right to a speedy trial. I think it's to their benefit to let as much time go by as possible before charging her. It gives them time to build their case & hope that the her body is discovered....JMO

In a case in this area, they used the house next door.

That is how I feel after watching this. No one she interviewed mentioned Caylee. She had to ask. Their first thought was of Casey and her comfort and defense. I feel a real sadness for that little girl tonight.

Finding Caylee is the LAST THING Baez wants to focus on. His only hope is that they never find a body.

If only he can convince Casey to keep quiet & get her parents to stop that annoying "where's Caylee" business.

Casey is SUCH a hero. If only all daughters & mothers were so brave. :furious:

I wish the media would stop playing into these monsters' hands & start showing them how to really play the "It's all about Caylee" game.

I sure hope they have gotten the warrant and are bugging the place. It may be the only way to get anything on this wench and if it is possible to get a bug on the house I don't know why the judge wouldn't allow it. I just wonder if there is a law that they have to let them know their house is bugged or being listened into. BUT, I don't think Casey is going to say anything at all anyway that is the truth and will be helpful to find Caylee. If she says anything it will all be lies.

OH man I agree with you there - but in this case we are dealing with a 22 year old party girl. She does not have half the intelligence or education or life experience that Peterson has. She doesn't even "lie" good - now I know - pathological liar - she's been lying for years BUT she has only had to make up unadult lies (meaning she had not reached the stage of adulthood. Lying and stealing from friends and family are a lot more common in families today.

'splain the decomp smell in the trunk and the cadaver dog hits (I ask this without sarcasm - I promise - I want that child to be alive, too... but here's where I can't make sense of it.

No they do not have to tell him. If DNA was back that lead to further charges he wouldn't know at this point..and won't know until the GJ brings in charges to hold her on capitol murder. That's my feeling that the prosecution, meaning the DA will go for Capitol Murder once the results of all the forensics are in ..and other evidence ..such as friends, etc testimony. Then he still will not know any of the evidence until he files motions for discovery of the evidence.

The prosecution has until November, her next hearing on these current charges, to come forward with more concrete charges through the GJ if they want to follow through with that route. That means they have time to get everything right and in order. After she is charged with murder, not before , the defense can and will file motions to see what cards the prosecution is holding. To me, the defense talking about the DNA at this point leads me they believe further charges will be coming....otherwise they wouldn't even discuss the DNA.

I don't understand why the DA has only until Nov. Why are the two charges even connected?

This is exactly why I believe she is alive. Ok - we know they have had prelim results for a LONG time now. The others - well maybe not ALL but - oh yea - they have some.

Its either inconclusive or its not Caylee. If LE can say in a somewhat positive manner that Caylee is dead - they would have let the family know. Its past cruel with the amount of time now.

All I can say is WOW - Greta was pretty powerful tonight. Haven't seen NG yet (Big Brother Fan Club here - GO COLONEL!!!). I'll watch her later.

I'm going to go WAY OUT on a limb tonight. I have my reasons for doing this. I have come across as sorta being on the fence. But, I think, (OMG - please don't hurt me ya'll) tonight I'm going to take a stand. I TRULY BELIEVE that Caylee is alive. Get ready for this "circus" to get even stranger.

Now please don't just attack me. I am willing to "debate" any question you might have for me as to the how, what, why and how of it all. And I do not hold to EXACTLY one scenerio as to what is going on, so don't just ask me for my "theory". My theory is she is alive.

Ok - now I"m going to duck!!!!!!

I commend you on your bravery!! I have stated from the beginning that I thought Caylee is alive, and have caught a lot of crap for it. Someone even wanted to know how to ignore me because of it. And I wasn't really trying to argue, just voice my opinion....welcome to the other side. Although it does get quite lonely at times! :-)
