How do you KNOW the FBI didn't "use" their team to look for Caylee? FBI found "Rockfeller - Chichester - Whoevermynameis guy. They found him and that child in just days!!! You don't openly see the FBI when they work a case. Haven't you noticed that all the LE that have publicly spoken in this case have all been LOCAL LE - the FBI does NOT DO PRESSERS!!! At least, not until they break it.

I don't know that for sure, but according to TV reports ONLY local LE has interviewed the potential witnesses and checked out the places Casey told them Caylee was. The new boyfriend's roommate said they had not interviewed him and in our area, if a child is missing they are interviewing EVERYONE. They do not leave that to local LE.

The FBI was interviewing people in 8 states with that Rockefeller case, and for them not to even interview the roommate speaks loudly to me.

I think enough people smelled death in that car....LE, FBI...Cindy and George...plus Casey lying about everything....the kidnapping lie was never taken seriously.

  • #303
I never said that you did believe that she was kidnapped. I was responding to your point about public back lash against LE - I was just giving a "What if" scenerio...Thats all.
I'm sorry - I was responding to you saying what if the kidnapper (or whoever has her) killed her a weel from now. I don't believe she is in any danger - so I don't think she will be killed in a week from now. I don't think she will be killed at all. I believe she is being held though. JMO

The body could offer evidence to prove murder as opposed to a lesser charge.

There are still receipts to check, computers to analyze, more people to talk to (do you know how many friends of friends of friends you can pull up from a busy myspacer?)... Surveillance videos to go over from the places Casey shopped... Why go to court with some evidence when so much is still out to be gathered?

Plus LE has had to check out all of the ZGs even the bounty guy now admits never had Caylee.

The only thing that has changed since Casey's release from jail is that the prosecutor now knows Casey most likely WON'T be making a deal.

And that already the defense PR is off and running.

The WORST thing to do now is rush the investigation. Time to gather evidence is the investigators friend...ask O.J.'s defense team why they pressed for a speedy trial.

IMO

In my laypersons opinion even having a dead body doesn't prove Casey killed her. So the more other types of evidence the better I'm guessing.

ok everyone...let's weigh in...

How are george and cindy paying their bills - when they couldn't come up with $50k in bail?...granted i'm not solid on the details (did they have to have collateral, liquid assets, etc.)

i hate to even ask that b/c it sounds so materialistic - but it's a valid question.

yes it is!!! In fact, you could say that is (one of) the MILLION DOLLAR questions!!!!!!

I do not think I am wrong but please feel free to correct me. She also came out later and said that Caylee's father died in a car wreck.

She said she had believed at one time he was the father.

That was confusing to me.......I watched that the other night on a video clip again. She stated in court under oath that the father's name was one person (was it Jesse?? can't remember now, too many names) and then on TV later that same day she said he died in a car wreck and she didn't know his name.

It sounds as if Casey told her one thing before and then after court told her something different. When they find that baby, they need to do a DNA and find out WHO the real father is.......

I don't think LOCAL LE has much to do lately but sit around and wait for the results. Remember I said that in a lot of real high profile cases - especially if there is friction between "agencies" - that they DON'T LIKE TO SHARE. I think the FBI knows volumes and Local knows what their own investgation has but is not privy to ALL the FBI has.
That is true & that could very well be the case. Another thing that really scares me about this case is Cindy saying that the car smelled like there was a dead body in it. Also, didn't a detective say that he smelled it too. I'm not sure but I think it's in one of the reports. Anyway I really do hope that Caylee is alive & well but I have a feeling that her body was in that trunk & that LE is going to prove it.....JMO

Night all & God Bless

I'm figuring you're an imposter. Southerners say y'all. Not you all and never y'all when speaking about only one person.

I don't remember if CH actually said that the FBI hadn't talked to him - I'll talk you word on that. Let me ask you, if you were enough of a player in this case to have been interviewed by the FBI and at the end of that interview they told you NOT to speak to anyone about what we discussed - its like we have never even met - what would you do? Would you go on national TV and admit to such a meeting thus opening yourself up as to what did the FBI want with you? What did you tell them? What did they ask you about?

I SO hope you are right and I am wrong..........but from the dreams I have had even before this hit TV, I believe she is in the water somewhere. I do believe she will be found because of these torrid rains though. I think that is what will break this case.

No they do not have to tell him. If DNA was back that lead to further charges he wouldn't know at this point..and won't know until the GJ brings in charges to hold her on capitol murder. That's my feeling that the prosecution, meaning the DA will go for Capitol Murder once the results of all the forensics are in ..and other evidence ..such as friends, etc testimony. Then he still will not know any of the evidence until he files motions for discovery of the evidence.

The prosecution has until November, her next hearing on these current charges, to come forward with more concrete charges through the GJ if they want to follow through with that route. That means they have time to get everything right and in order. After she is charged with murder, not before , the defense can and will file motions to see what cards the prosecution is holding. To me, the defense talking about the DNA at this point leads me they believe further charges will be coming....otherwise they wouldn't even discuss the DNA.

I absolutely agree! If some of the forensic results are back, not releasing them doesn't mean that they (LE and prosecution) have nothing. They are holding those results, awaiting the rest of them to come back, and continuing their investigation. Last week, LE said they have "much more evidence than what was in the trunk of the car." That leads me to believe they're building a strong case to present before and grand jury. It's killing Jose Baez that he doesn't know what LE has on his client.

In the meantime, the circus continues at the Anthony home, where the family, Jose Baez, and the bounty hunters, continue to weave the story of a kidnapping. Yet, there's no evidence to even suggest a kidnapping. All this is based on the word of Casey, who's a habitual liar, and has been caught in many lies since this all began. She lied about working, she made up friends that don't exist, then even put those non-existent friends names into her cell phone directory with the phone numbers of the Anthony neighbors. Casey is all about lies and subterfuge.

They are you can bet on that too

But hhmmmm I also wonder IF the FBI and the BH BOTH know the same info

Right, we can only hope they are on the same team. Whatever, info if any is turned over to the FBI.

Yep, they are all watching eachother, talk about paranoia!

Bobby - there are the new breed of southerners that say "you all"..... promise - there are quite a bit of folks that think Ya'll is redneckish.

I, however; beg to differ...

Could your dreams of her being in the water also be interpreted as maybe she "crossed over" some water?
