Greta On The Record 9/05/08 Discussion

I HAD to break that addiction, I have too many addictions to all of these other threads!:crazy:

Lovejac! I swear I'm gonna lose my job because all I can do is refresh...refresh...refresh.

I have to make restraints on myself!!!

Leonard told us last week on Nancy Grace about the "script story", and also that he told KC he didn't "want to hear that bunk", and she told him to "Get out of my house".

LP's information seems to change constantly and he cant remember what he says from one interview to the next.
He clearly said on GVS he has NOT spoken to LA since he left Orlando.
OK. Does that mean he has not SPOKEN to him? Or has been texting him or instant messaging or emailing him? I don't have a clue what his technology skills are, but maybe he can fill us in.
Just a day ago on NG he said something to the effect he is in constant contact with LA.
Now the script stuff.
He may have a wealth of information but for goodness sakes, LP, take notes so you don't keep doing this.

I think one of the reasons they were all raggin' on him is b/c they don't know that he has a lot of info. Just b/c he hasn't TALKED to her, people need to remember, she talked to Rob Dick alot AND that lady from Padilla's team was in that house the whole time. Also, I think more people talk to him b/c he is not as 'scary' as the cops.

I think this is part of the problem. I also recall LP saying he had a woman in the house the whole time. But,...........he has NOT said one word about her since. IMHO, LE most likely told him not to talk about her. She may be a 'witness' in any upcoming trial.

Of course, that doesn't prevent LP from revealing what she told him. It's hearsay, but who cares. We're not in court.

I think that's why so many people get confused. They don't pay attention to every detail and loose track. So now many think LP is lying because we know Casey wouldn't talk to HIM, .............but we know he had an INSIDE TRACK!

JMHO

For one thing, he says that LP came on GVS before and said Casey never spoke one word to him. Then he's on there tonite saying she tried to tell him the whole Zenaida/Samantha script story

When all that happened, I took that as meaning that she didn't speak one helpful/truthful word to him, you know?

A LOT of things Leonard says (like on NG tonight) are just him stating his gut feelings (ie, spec) but can come across as him giving some official pronouncement. I think it's just his style of speaking & normally isn't a big deal, but we're all dissecting every granule of this case.

That's what I'm wondering ~ who told him this and when? I didn't think Casey was talking to him.

I'm gonna hazzard a guess that the female "bodyguard" was probably wired for her and the family's safety. You don't sit three bounty hunters in an RV outside for protection, if they don't have a way of knowing what's going on inside.

LP just doesn't want to mention that little detail.

LP sure has a following here. Reminds me of Cindy.
Did he actually "believe" the story? Apparently Ted thought so.
When they find Caylee, this will be a theory from the defense, and they have been working it for awhile. little bit here, little bit there.
Lp has always been with the defense, except the week of the decomp. jmho

I don't think there was anyone in the house watching Casey while LP was there....just a made up story to make the public feel better. Like getting Casey sprung from jail so she could tell LP where Caylee was.

I wish LP had never inserted himself in this case.

anyone else catch that map they flashed of the cell phone pings? is that available anywhere to view? be nice to get a screenshot of that. they just flashed it for a milisecond.

I think there is some misscommunication. She did speak words to him. So she did talk to him.

But have a realistic, conversation, heart to heart, NO. And THAT is the kind of Talking he was expecting. Hence, she didn't do as promised. Which is TALK about where Caylee is. Give him real stuff to go on.

When it comes to Lawyers and details about a case.. these little things make a diffference.

Also, he got some information from those with him, that talked to her. Hence, 'to him' she said. Like he says SHE said she would talk if bailed out. I don't think she talked to him personally. That was what he was told she said, she would do.. by whome? Her lawyers, her Mother, etc. People talking for her.

I have to say that since this case, I am so interested in sociopathic behavior and what drives people to lie! The FBI profiler said that Casey created her own world every day.

I know, I am totally with you...I am the worst liar so I never try to. but I don't think this girl has ever told the TRUTH once in her life.

don't you think if she had put this skill of creating tall tales to use in a more constructive way, maybe she could have been a really good writer? maybe she could write Law&Order episodes...or some bad straight-to-video movies.

I am puzzled as to why Leonard said they don't hear from Lee when he or Tony said (on here) they talk to Lee daily.
And I am surprised Leonard said Casey said there was a plan she was to follow and that whole "new" kidnapping story, because Leonard had said all along that Casey "never" spoke to him "other than" to thank him for posting the first bond! I dont get it? Is he saying this now, because hes no longer involved with the family or what? (Kinda odd, and Greta and her team thought so too).

Now that he's is no longer under a bond he is allowed to talk, but he is saying things a little bit at a time, I think that he is trying to get another TV show deal out of all this.

People generally lie because the truth is not good enough. It is often at its root a self esteem issue.
