Thanks. So where did they get the $13,585 to spend if they total rev is only $200 ???..... or have they been in existence before in another state? what $$ did they use for these $13,585 expenses??

I really wish we could see exactly what the expenses were.

IMO, MOO, etc.

I looked to see if BKH had any complaints listed with DCS (they didn't). I used this information to trace the address and phone number that they listed and made some confusing but interesting discoveries. I searched every way I know how and couldn't find any real location for the address they listed. Google, Bing and Zillow all showed maps of the Hamburg Ave in Sussex but there is no #23. This is a bad address. Either it is a data entry mistake or a fake. The look up on the phone numbers all cost money so I couldn't find out who owns the listed number. However, I did discover that it is a land line in Ohio. Land line; not cell phone. This doesn't make sense to have a physical address in NJ and a land line in OH. I also noted on the DCS form that the license was issued on 9/07/11 ~ That's pretty recent. (But maybe it's really only a "re-issue" date?)

In any case, I thought I'd share these small inconsistencies that I found as they all seem to add to the suspicious nature of this charity. Here are my links.

WTH :waitasec: Why isn't the media checking this out ?Kathy ,Bill? Where'd you go ?

Thank you EU.:seeya:

I suspect the #'s in the area code were reversed . If you check using AC 973 you get NJ... I did get a name using 9738267145, but don't know if it's within TOS to post it.

No, I wouldn't post the name, LinTX, either. But can you tell us if it's one that has been linked to this group earlier in this thread? Or is it totally unfamiliar to you? Thanks!

Yes, EU, that is exactly what I was going to say....familiar name, or completely new name??

I had found this a while back, post #651

Also see post #645

It shows one of Seguras businesses, Cydesk, at #40 Hamburg Ave (not #23--there is no #23).

Now, here's a shot of 40 Hamburg Ave, Sussex, NJ (looks pretty vacant to me, just a deli):

Now, there is (or was--I think the domain name has expired) a company with that address named Cydesk that is owned by Eric Segura. A search of the .com name on Hexillion:

There was one reporter that started investigation but I don't know if he's still working on this.

http://www.clickorlando.com/news/28817094/detail.html

The New Jersey-based nonprofit registered as a corporation in 2008. However, a Local 6 News investigation revealed that New Jersey officials revoked the group's corporation status in April because officers failed to submit annual reports for the past two years as required by law.

The founder of Bring Kids Home, Eric Segura, told Local 6 News reporter Mike DeForest that he was unaware he was required to file those reports. He said he was not aware New Jersey officials had revoked the corporation status until Local 6 brought it to his attention.

Segura later corrected the paperwork issue, and the state of New Jersey reinstated the corporation status.

That revenue source on IRS 990-EZ, would suggest that the income plus expenditures would be nationwide not just for Fla. You do not file by state on an IRS tax form. I guess we could request a copy of their filled out tax form for 2010. Non profits must furnish that upon request as far as I can determine.

See bolded. I think that 9/07/11 is the original issue date and not a reissue. I compared it to Kid Finders info on same site. The license is only good for a year I believe.

Gosh, there seem to be too many layers of information and mysterious connections with the main players in this organization. Businesses and organizations that seem to morph from one thing into another. Some of the things I've stumbled upon are so complex that there is no way I could bring it back and try to explain it here. For example, there's one person involved with a government contract for counseling at-risk adolescents. Not that there is anything at all wrong with that but why do it under a separate company name and not "own" it as background experience in BKH? The organizational execs are not named, there is no "headquarters," an address that doesn't exist and a phone number either in error or in a different state. There are just a lot of grey areas that make me feel very uncomfortable here. Very little is above board and visible. I like things to be very transparent ~ especially charities and non-profits!

You all have done a great deal of time consuming sleuthing here in this thread and have uncovered a lot of interesting and confusing facts. I really appreciate all the efforts.

If we all keep digging maybe we'll have that "aha" moment that Jose kept promising. :D I'm trying to see if any of those grey areas I mentioned contain any blurring between for profit business owners and their connection or services to non-profit organizations ~ Am I looking for the right thing?

No, I wouldn't post the name, LinTX, either. But can you tell us if it's one that has been linked to this group earlier in this thread? Or is it totally unfamiliar to you? Thanks!

Sorry, didn't mean to post and run yesterday. No it's not familiar to me, and I also did a search on the board and don't get any matches. Also get very little doing Google search on the name so more than likely it's just a false lead...I'll keep the name handy though in case it does come up in the future.

While reviewing this thread for names, I clicked on a link reviewing the trademark application for Caylee's name. The trademark/patent office returned the request on 9/16/2011 as denied/asking further information after research by the gov't patent attorney. The letter says the name "identifies a particular living individual" and wants either a statement the person is not living, or permission from that person. Bet that letter caused a little commotion in Lippman's office...

I don't think the A's have permission to use her name. That would have to come from KC. jmo

Whoa, yeah this is interesting tho I'm not at all surprised.

The George and Cindy Anthony Foundation? Wow. They put their own names on it. Or at least this website put it wrong. It makes it look like their foundation but with a URL of Cayleesfund.org. I'm half surprised they didn't just name it after themselves since they are living off of it. Well, maybe not since I don't think they've gotten many donations.

I hope to God this hideous macabre memorial never materializes. I've never seen such an insulting, crass proposition. So many better ways to honor Caylee. So many graverobbers out to make money off of a dead baby.

From the BKH website.
Found it interesting.

http://www.bringkidshome.org/PR101711.pdf

Family Unity and the A's....somehow that just does not go together. This whole thing is becoming dysfunctional. Next the A's will be telling everyone they need to get over it and move on. Oh, and "it's okay to put a memorial for Caylee at this location because she didn't die there she died in our pool but, ya know, once she was dead she was just a shell so KC didn't think it was appropriate to put Caylee out with the trash so she put her in this beautiful memorial site, well, it will be once you donate all the money we need, and that will, of course, make us feel better and will be a sign that KC did the right thing." CA did not say this, yet, but I just know it or something like it is coming. How does she breathe??? jmo
