Group to honor Stacy Peterson at fundraiser

Nearly two years after Stacy Peterson of Bolingbrook was last seen alive, a group will march in her name to raise money for a battered women's shelter.

"It's kind of a way to remember Stacy and get the word out" about the Groundwork battered women's shelter, said Stephanie Kreidler, who organized The Angels For Stacy/Peace4 the Missing team entry for the Oct. 24 Angels Against Abuse 5K Walk.

“Angels for Stacy” team
Help is needed this month to make a successful showing for Stacy’s team. This walk is to benefit Guardian Angels, GROUNDWORK, a shelter for women & children.

It is an honorable tribute to women like Stacy Peterson, Lisa Stebic, and many, many (too many) others like them.
