Guardian Angels watching the Anthony Home

  • #161
The Guardian Angels do patrol other areas of our City - they are not just patrolling the Anthony home. You make our city sound like a hot-bed of
crime that we need the Guardian Angels on masse to patrol the dangerous streets of Orlando......when was the last time you were in the Parramore area? They are in the process of revitalizing it - it will be wonderful once the new venues are built.

They are at the Anthony home to keep peace in what used to be a peaceful neighborhood.

Matter of fact I was just in the Parramore area last week. Yes they are trying to improve it, but it still has a long way to go. Yes it will be wonderful once it is completed, I look forward to that day. Our city IS a hot bed of crime, that is why they came here in the first place to help our LE, even though LE did not ask for their help. Do not get me wrong, I love Orlando, and I'm proud to live here! I am a fourth generation Flordian, so I'm proud of my State! Am I proud of the crime that has taken over our City Beautiful, NO! I just feel that they do not need to be standing at the Anthony home there are many other places they could be at and I named them in my last post. That is my opinion and I am entitled to it. BTW I live right by Pine Hills road, and I do know there is crime right at my back door, I hear it almost every night, gun fire, sirens etc. I live it everyday.

That is what I asked him and he just replied that "We will make sure that we clear things up." He continued on with thanks for my concern. To let Justice work. So we'll see. I can see if they walk up and down the block protecting the neighborhood, but standing on the A's driveway shows me they are protecting a baby-misser/killer/seller/(insert whatever here).

See, that is exactly what it looks like to me. That they are there by the driveway protecting them.

well, I think I'll go outside for a bit and get some air.:chili:

Meijer at 2 am is no walk in the park either. I was just trying to bring some levity to the thread before it degenerated completely.

I agree. Come on...did anyone not see these protestors and think "who are these folks?" and "what is wrong with them?" and "they don't look too bright to me". They clearly have nothing better to do with their time. I got the joke as it was intended...just as a joke. Not as a social comment.

Not to hammer on this much more, but sorry, I do not see where you are clearly talking about this SUBGROUP. Seems pretty generalized to me. Letting it go now.

softsoul, key word in my statement was "many." did not say all protesters nor all jobless people, just that some of those that are acting like idiots maybe the same ones that are often also found late at night at walmart. Geez, sorry to offend!

I agree that it is pitiful how some are assuming they know something about the lives of these protesters...and managing to insult every unemployed person in the process. We haven't been introduced to all the protesters so it is nothing but narrow-mindedness to judge them all by the ones acting like idiots.

Couldn't agree more. To me, this thread reads of classism and privilege. It is one thing question someone on the basis of their actions, and entirely another thing to slight them because you think they may be poor and uneducated and therefore uncouth.

If this is a repeat question please delete, but did the Guardian Angels have consulted with LE before they took this action? Just curious.

:bang:

In my e-mail he said, "We are just helping Orlando PD to keep the peace."

So, I guess you can say by the word helping, they have????

Those people just want to be on TV that is not a protest and they should ashamed of themselves. If you want to protest go to house during normal hours and chant a for a while hold up signs quietly as Casey comes in and out. Then go home at the end of the day. Showing up at 1AM with your stupid friends and causing trouble is not PROTESTING.

Oh how we rape the freedom of speech right over and over.

LAPD has issued a Q&A pamphlet on the "Your Rights to Demonstrate and Protest". I'm sure it was written by lawyers specializing in Constitutional Law. I would think, if it applies to California, it applies to all other states as well---JMO. Some interesting information. Just an FYI:

Soooo this must include the Anthony Family as well because none of them seem to be working either .

Great one, Sweet!

I'm wondering when the protesters became the evil people? So, it's okay to cause a child to be missing (notice I didn't say murdered, we haven't proved it, but Caylee isn't sleeping inside that house with her family) and because these protesters are against that, THEY are the bad guys?

I'm pissed off as all outdoors is wide about alot of things in this case!! If I lived any where NEAR their house I would be out there too. Mind you, I wouldn't be breaking any laws but I would let them know they have made a mockery of LE from before day 1.

For someone to ASSUME that those protesters are jobless and alcoholics and so on, is JUDGEMENTAL. I work, don't drink, my 3 kids are here with me, they are in good health and happy and I would still find time out of my day to help search for Caylee or to make the A's uncomfortable regardless what time it is.

I agree that it's only a matter of time, this is all going to come to a head and explode. It's a mob environment. But when it does, the A's will take advantage of the situation and make themselves out to be victims. The only victim here is Caylee. From the looks of it, the A's exploited her life and her disappearance and they will continue to do so with every new opportunity that comes their way.

Time for breakfast, then off to school and where else did I have to go?

Oh, that's right, I have to stop at WAL-MART too.

Ok - so what the Anthony's are doing is tacky too. Got it. But does that mean two wrongs make a right? The protestors are wrong and are affecting others in the neighborhood as well. They are doing no good and need to stop. "White trash" or not - they are apparently not smart or savvy enough to realize how their actions are reflecting on themselves - and how they are affecting the neighbors. Enough is enough.
I think I understand that enough is enough. However, not all the protesters are acting this way and not all the protesters are wrong. I personally am not willing to give up my first amendment right to protest because of some who act like hoodlums under the guise of protesting. My point is, and always has been, that those who break the law should be arrested...on both sides of the property line.

I dont care either way.

If it helps restore some peace to the neighborhood, thats all that really matters.

The Orlando PD? But the Anthonys live in the sheriff's dept. jurisdiction.

I dont think everyone that commented on the protesters meant it to come out that way..I seperate the young drunken pennythrowers from the other night from the legitimate protesters. Sometimes we are just throwing in a little humor...not meaning to judge..:)

The Orlando PD? But the Anthonys live in the sheriff's dept. jurisdiction.

Those were his exact words in his 2nd email. Let me go check the 1st email.

HIs 1st email said, "We are just helping the police to maintain a peaceful protest as we have done all around the world for the past 29 years. "Keeping the peace and working with the police."

I thought I read here today that the OCSD didn't like them there?

Can someone explain to me who the Guardian Angels are please? I saw them on the news but I truly have no idea who they are????

Then we agree! :) The protestors need to keep it down and keep it quiet...so the neighbors can live in peace. I still think there are better ways to protest that don't involve camping out in the neighborhood disrupting things for other neighbors. I would be terribly upset if I lived on that street and had the constant presence of strangers, vans, cameras, etc. on my block. I am one that hopes the HOA is successful in their bid to have it all moved to an empty lot.

Back on the topic. I could literally scream at the top of my lungs right now "What the h--l". I hate the fact that the Guardian angels are in the A's driveway making the As look like victims..once again.
The A's have considered themselves the victims this entire time.Im so frustrated by that! Get the guardian angels over in the neighbor driveway. Let the penny throwers have at it!

Oh..did I say all thaat. I hope I dont get banned or worse..bashed by my fellow sleuthers.
