I just noticed on two different news sites that the Guardian Angels
are now patrolling the Anthony home. They said its to ensure
safety for the neighborhood in light of the problems they had the other
night. You can see them with their red berets patrolling outside of the
Anthony home.
While I understand protestors have a right to protest, I commend the
Guardian Angels for stepping in. I feel so bad for the neighbors and yes
even the Anthonys - no one should have to go through what they are all
going through at their own home.
Any thoughts?
or from the tombstone cop neighborsHow soon before the gunfire begins from the vigilante protesters?
If I was a neighbor, I'd be so sad one of my 2 year old neighbors was missing and horrified that her family wasn't co-operating with the police. I'd be angry at the A's for the disturbance and the loss, not the protestors.
I have to disagree with this. I know people who blame others for their actions constantly...there is always a reason it's someone elses fault. People need to take ownership for their own actions. I'm glad to see the G. Angels in that neighbourhood.
As I see it, the Guardian Angels are doing nothing more than attempting to keep the peace. They believe they can perhaps prevent a situation from escalating into something violent. They stand in the Anthony's yard because that is where they will do the most good. Yes - they are protecting the Anthony's. They are also protecting the protestors, the media and the neighbors. But since many of the protestors find it necessary to hurl things at the house, and step onto the Anthony's yard, and knock on garage doors, etc....they are standing in a spot between the two parties. Because the Anthony's have come outside with a hammer and a baseball bat and yelled at the protestors...they are standing between the two parties. Not down the street, not on the street with the protestors, not in the Anthony home. BETWEEN the parties.
I, for one, would rather see them out there than have LE resources tied up being called out time and time again.

I can think of much better things to do with my time other than reading these message boards...LOL...but I can't stop!![]()
I totally agree with this post. No matter what I think about Casey's guilt, and make no mistake about it, I am certain that she is guilty in her daughter's death/disappearance, she has every right to remain silent. These people who are "protesting" are showing just how ignorant they are by showing up there and causing problems. I'm disgusted by the whole thing. Caylee is is not being helped by the actions of this group of fools.
How are they protecting the neighbors by standing in the Anthony driveway? Shouldn't they be standing in front of the neighbors' homes?
How is going out of their way to chase a guy in a car who wasn't standing their protesting, protecting anyone? If anything, they left an opening for someone to harass a neighbor while they were off on that little 'chase'.
Something tells me these kids, while good-hearted, are way, way out of their league here.
i agree, did anyone see the protesters that were dressed up like demons and monsters they were scary for a fact. There are little kids in this neighborhood that are no doubt scared already and the sight of those people would scare anyone. I know everone is angry at this family and blame them which they did bail Casey out but really that is their business and no one elses, most (not all) of the protester act like idiots and I really can't blame Cindy for getting the ball bat after them! I am glad the Angels are there because I am afraid some one is going to get hurt badley or killed if this continues. IMO
Some people just aren't going to be satisfied. First it was outrage that Casey dare even ring the police when she felt her family was under threat at her home, then it went from outrage to anger that there was a request for policing of the property. Understandably people were annoyed that their taxes would be paying for such an undertaking. However now that there is a group that is not paid for by your taxes and are doing this voluntarily people are still outraged.
I really admire the people here who put forth challenging opinions which differentiate between their emotion over Caylee's disappearance, their anger at Casey and the Anthony family while still understanding that the Anthony family does have rights and that there is a valid need for some protection out the front of their residence. Well done to you all, especially the regulars here because as a newbie, I have experienced venom from other posters for voicing this opinion and I know it would be difficult for you to do so too.
LOL...are you serious?
I think any children in that neighborhood would be far more frightened of Casey and the family that makes babies disappear, than any person in costume. Imagine how hard it must be for the parents to explain to their kids where Caylee went.
Sorry...but I have to laugh at that line...but not with venom, honest!
Don't you see the irony? Casey doesn't call the police when her family are in danger...haven't you heard she didn't call the police when her own daughter was with "kidnappers"? But pennies on windows requires immediate police attention?
Yeah, those costumes were no worse than any Halloween costume, which is coming up. How appropriate!
At Halloween, adults don't typically dress up and parade around screaming "babykiller" and "we're waiting for you in hell" and such, menacing other adults in a serious manner. Halloween is fun and being scared for fun - -this isn't fun for the neighbors, I'm sure.
I don't really care if the protestors want to dress up or not, or hold signs or not, I just hope that the confrontations between protestors and the A's are over, and that there will be no more provocations (on either side). If the Guardian Angels can assure that - -and a more peaceful tone and noise level for the neighbors -- then I think they are doing a good thing.

Guardian Angels jumping on the hoods of people's cars is not accomplishing that. I think they're there for their own self-serving publicity. Besides if they are "protecting the neighbors", why stand in the Anthony's driveway? Why not stand in the neighbors' driveways???
