Guardian Angels watching the Anthony Home

Uggh, when does it end? And why is it all of a sudden like the last week the 'protestors' are teenage-early twenty somethings with thier pants hanging down to thier ankles, wife beater tees, loud, foul mouths acting like they're getting drunk in a street party and wanting to fist fight? It makes me sick that these punk kids are out there late at night, not holding any beneficial protest signs, just there to start fights and yell swear words, where are the real protestors, peaceful, law abiding citizens conveying heartfelt messages for Caylee?

I would imagine that some of the angels got ripped for their behavior on Thursday night. Hopefully they will do better.

I agree... whats up with that, nothing else to do on a Fri night in Orlando ?

I think the Guardian Angels are doing a very good job. Where can I donate?

They are a terrific organization, well respected. I'm glad theyre there !

The standard Friday night gang was present at the Anthonys' house along with children. It appears that neighbors of the Anthonys were trying to help George by standing watch but couldn't resist trading profanities and gestures with the "protesters" after George disappeared through a side gate.

Neighbors hurled insults at the gathered protesters and just as it appeared a physical altercation was inevitable, a serious and very buff young man stepped in wearing the highly recognizable red beret of the Guardian Angels. It appeared that he was practiced at such interventions and was able to physically separate and emotionally cool the tension.

I think the Guardian Angels are doing a very good job. Where can I donate?

Personally, I felt the GA's were a step in the right direction to keep the peace out front, if nothing else for the neighborhood.

Having said this, it will only work if the Anthonys will not come out to pound signs with hammers when the protesters are out.

The wife beater tee was worn by an Anthony neighbor, I'm assuming you mean the white tank top. I saw nobody with the pants hanging off their butts.

The loud mouth cussing one that was spitting, that was also an Anthony neighbor, the one that said "I BLEEPIN' Kill you bas****", he also told the woman to carry her fat azz home.

I do think the Gaurdian Angels did a fine job last night, I fear there would have been blood shed if not for them.

Agreed.

Sigh...also, at least one of the neighbors appears to be throwing fuel on the fire by saying something similar to "I'm gonna kill you". Not good, but I cannot imagine their frustration having this circus in their neighborhood.

What was their behavior Thursday night? And did I read somewhere they're leaving?

I think it's ridiculous that either the Anthony's or LE don't hire off-duty cops as over-night guards. Yes, if it's OCSO the tax payers will bear the $$ burden, but IMO the $$ burden will be even greater if further harassment leads to violence, injury, property damage and arrests!

I don't know what I'd do if I were the Anthony's...I always try to remember, "There but for the grace of God go I."

No, Im not talking about the neighbors, Im talking about the kids you see on video almost everynight around that house. Last night that young girl was saying all kinds of stupid things to GA about how he's thier hero, they want to be just like him, etc, doing everything they can to provoke a fight, I dont blame that neighbor with the orange stripe shirt at all for what he said. The kid in the blue tshirt with his shorts falling off is the one that was provoking him, saying try me and swearing at him and thats when the orange shirt guy was like 'try me? Ill bust your head' or whatever he said. Im sorry, maybe some of ya'll dont agree with me, but kids hanging out across the street yelling, swearing and provoking people is doing NOTHING for Caylee. They arent there protesting Casey or holding signs about justice for Caylee, they are spouting thier mouths off to George and Cindy.

as opposed to long hair, bead loving, pot smoking protesters? lol.......only kidding!

yea, I was watching the video clip and thought the same thing. Those last night, and the night before are kids that have been out, draningk a little and just went there to start trouble. I was waiting for this to happen, but every town has groups like this. I want to think that some are just young, don't know how it comes across and don't know how to express themselves in the right manner,

The group from Thursday night looked like they were only there to start trouble, and so did that guy from last night.

Again thou, I feel very strongly that George should have been arrested for shoving that older woman and the protester that pulled and yanked Georges shirt should have been arrested.

It is like the never ending Jerry Springer show. :(

Congrats to George for going in the house and ignoring the protestors. Hopefully he can keep up the good work.

Could you imagine having small children and living near that.

I haven't paid much attention to be honest. I think that anyone there with a cool head is a welcome sight tho. The Guardian Angels, LE, or even Joe Blow from up the street...need to bring some rational thought into that scenario before someone does end up hurt...besides Caylee.

People keep forgetting that Caylee is the reason people are outraged. I can see why groups of younger people are flocking there. They are Casey's peers. They are angry. They have every right to be angry.

If the tables were turned, Casey herself might be among a group that would do this very thing (as long as it meant she didn't have to lift a finger to make signs or to actually protest). However, I could see her going along with the crowd to sling coins and trade barbs with sitting ducks.

I do feel sorry for the neighbors, they didn't ask or cause any of this. Eventhough I was opposed to the GA's being there as I wish everyone would leave, they, the GA's, did in fact diffuse a situation that could have gotten way out of hand very quickly and ended up with someone hurt. So, Thank goodness they were there.

The police report doesn't put the Ga's in such a good light does it? Just a mess.

I didnt take it that way, maybe its just me but Id take the words of the GA's over two protestors in their car with a taser gun. Sounds to me like they were just making up the story about the GA's because they knew the police were called on them and wanted to cover thier @ss. Hopefully someone got a video of the real story.
