The penalty phase of the trial will begin Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Mark Sievers has now been convicted of first-degree murder and could face the death penalty.

Judge now scheduling the penalty phase for next Tuesday morning. Each side anticipating a day or two for this portion of the trial. Judge asking jurors to come back on Monday to decide on sequestration @winknews

So relieved for the family and friends of TS. I had no doubt of this verdict when it came so quickly. No matter what happens in the penalty phase, her loved ones know he'll be locked up for life.

He won't be sentenced... both sides present to jury first. Day each, they just send, then jury deliberates again for sentence.
