:justice: has reached its first phase, and I am SO grateful to the jury! THIS is how I wish all trials could be: swift justice, expedited without frivolous delays. I am beyond impressed overall.

The only thing missing is we still don't know where Alexis Murphy is. My broken heart weeps for her Family. This day is SO bittersweet for them.

I hold them in my prayers, and send them love and strength. :praying:

Thank you WSers for your updates to the thread. I hope rat receives the max. I'd be lying if I said a life sentence is sufficient. IMO, it's not.

Wherever you are Alexis, I hope you are at peace. :heartluv:

Thank Heaven they convicted him. I am very, very proud of this jury and of LE and the prosecution team. R.I.P. Alexis. God bless you and all those who love you.

I wonder if any of the other cell phones found were linked to anyone else missing.

Most of the missing, there is no body, so no DNA to compare to! :tantrum:

:) well if I remember correct, a case of this guy from Atlanta Georgia who use kill minority kids or men and threw under a bridge. All his victims had some kind green carpet on them or something like that.

The state charged him all the murders found down by the bridge and all children he had come into contact with that were missing( some never found) but missing in the same area. I Think that was in the 80's or 90's. I don't remember the charge they called it or how they brought it about ., but it worth looking into for rat.I don't know if they can do that here or in the future, but here's to hoping and looking into it. :).

Thank Goodness!!! I do believe we will be hearing of a slew of murder charges coming his way. All they have to do is pull serial numbers off those phones...like VIN numbers for cars. Good riddance RAT.

Next phase... sentencing....hoping for Death pentalty.

Maybe ,just maybe, spare his life... if and only if....he comes clean and says where Alexis is, and if he is involved in any other missing in our area. He will not come clean. Pathological liar.

You are mirroring my thoughts, Justice...

This is such a relief for me, just as a member of the community. I can't imagine the weight that just was lifted from the shoulders of the Murphy family.

You're thinking of Wayne Williams and the Atlanta child murders.

Defense asks for leniency, saying Taylor is 48 so "he's got a life sentence no matter what you give the defendant" #TaylorTrial
