sorry - to interrupt flow - but what time to they usually go to lunch, have to plan when to make my dinner! :)

Most likely around noon or 12:30 (in an hour and half or two hours from now). Depends on if there is a witness on the stand, then they may break for lunch around 1:00pm (2 1/2 hours from now).

The state is showing a presentation detailing cell phone location information for Heather Elvis in month of December 2013.

Taylor Herlong:
Melson now showing jury his analysis of the two phones around the time Heather disappeared.
First looking at Heather's records. Showing map with where Heather's phone was used.

Taylor Herlong:

December 1st - Heather's phone used near Tilted Kilt and later at her mom and dad's

icross:

Melson explains the location data is based on cell phone towers - Elvis' phone picks the tower that is projecting the best signal.

Melson is now detailing, day-by-day, the likely locations for Elvis' phone when calls are made.

Truslow is not going to let this go on long before objecting!

HA! It just wouldn't feel right if they showed up with anything other than McD's for this trial.

I truly hope that the drive-thru forgot his fries!

Taylor Herlong:

Looking at the pings for Heather's phone in early December. was used at her house, her parent's house, and Tilted Kilt (where she worked).

It's his client's only hope.

He'll probably argue on cross examination that this guy can't prove that it was Heather in these locations, just her phone. Maybe someone else used her phone all month while she was driving around without a phone leaving notes and driving by his house.

judge's roll is to be mediator and the best ones have a calming influence on a courtroom whereby all involved can conduct business of the court in a dignified manner. This judge does nothing but inflame each and every situation...he screams rather than talks...he interrupts and clearly hates women in general.

I really wish someone would hand the judge a tube of Preparation H.

Dec. 18: Last phone calls placed this day were from a tower consistent with the calls being placed from Peachtree Landing.

Liz Cooper:
Phone expert shows jury Elvis' final four calls on her phone were using a cell tower near Peach Tree Landing.

I'd love to see this same presentation for Tammy's phone, but for the entire month of December.

I agree! It's a shame he wasn't involved in the last trial. I really appreciate the way he words his statements as to NOT "cause a fuss".

IMO
