Wonder how much progress they are making. Would be nice if they can get opening statements in today.

Would it be typical to pick a jury so quickly? I had jury duty a couple of months ago and we worked well past lunch trying to fill the jury box. Ultimately, a mistrial was declared before we even finished getting enough jurors.

The defendant attended the jury selection I participated in here in Oregon, though I'm not sure how it's done anywhere else. JMO
