Okay - so evidently there were two phone calls from Dennis Hart to Sidney where the phone was on speaker & he ended up listening to or speaking to both Sidney & Tammy & both phone calls referenced that Heather was trying to “ruin their family”.
The first call must’ve been before the Disneyland trip & the second one after Heather went missing?
Would be great to get more clarification about the date of the first phone call. Seems like it was shortly after Tammy found out and Sidney “abruptly” stopped working. The “tied up” comment is also relevant.
The second call was after Heather went missing but close to or the same day of the raging Facebook rant from Tammy.
Maybe someone can recall the actual dates.
Now changes the perspective a little bit - apparently whatever was done to Heather, Sidney HAD to go along in order to “save the family“ & that’s how it was twistedly justified to them.
Makes the State’s theory of this case stronger. The Motive is clearly established.
Maybe bringing those cell phone records for actual dates & times of those two calls would be helpful.
The way I heard Dennis Hart’s testimony is that Sidney knew Heather was pregnant & apparently Tammy did also. I could listen to it 100 times and that’s what I hear. Not just a rumor but that she is pregnant.

Good morning everyone. :)
I’ll be peeking in from work throughout the day again when I can. Your posts make it so easy to follow and are so appreciated since I can’t watch the trial.

Hey Sidney....where is Heather??

Danny Furr takes the stand. He is a sergeant in the training division for HCPD. In 2013, he was a corporal on patrol.

Furr testifies when he was told Heather was missing, he went to TK to see if she was at work and was there about 10-15 minutes.

After that, he called SM. He didn't call or see a need to call anyone else. SM did not answer but returned DF's call after listening to the message DF left. They spoke for 3-4 minutes.

After DF stated Heather was missing, he asked if SM had any knowledge of where she might be. SM stated he hadn't spoken to her in roughly 6 weeks. They continued to talk about how the two knew each other. SM then made the statement that Heather had called him the night in question, and he eventually called her back to tell her to leave him alone. The change in story concerned DF, and he decided they needed to investigate more.

Furr notifies Canterbury (detective?) to go to the Moorers' home and speak with SM face-to-face.

HCPD officer Danny Furr testifies that Moorer said he hadn't spoken to Elvis in weeks when police were looking for her. Yesterday's testimony covered the fact that Elvis and Moorer's phones contacted each other the night she disappeared.

Cross-examination:

The Defense is basically walking through the process of becoming law enforcement. I'm sure there's a point here, but I've yet to determine what it might be.

Thank you @Surfside and others for providing updates for those unable to watch. It's greatly appreciated and I know we're all hoping to see justice served for Heather Elvis and her family xoxo

They are still trying to spin that Terry Elvis was in with the police and tried to cover up something .. I remember Tammy was rambling about this during her testimony .. it's all in the discovery .. blah blah blah ..

Furr states he didn't know Terry Elvis at that time, and he did not know that Canterbury had a relationship with TE at that time. He has since learned that Canterbury did know TE at the time.

Defense is asking DF about his interview with TK kitchen manager. Defense is implying the kitchen manager was hiding the relationship between his son and Heather.

You're welcome. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep posting after lunch, but I'll do my best until then. :)

They sure have a lot of conspiracy theories don’t they? Why not just say the entire town of myrtle beach was in on it and out to get him? Geez

Three officers (one of whom was KC Canterbury) went to the Moorers' house "sometime after 10:00." Only KC was sent by DF. He isn't sure how the other two officers came to be a part of the interview, as they worked at a different precinct. The Defense implied overkill on the part of HCPD, to which DF responds if he thought SM was involved, he would've sent MORE officers to the home.
