WL testifies using Cellebrite, info from a cell phone is transferred to digital storage (like a thumb drive) and generates a report.
It can pull incoming and outgoing calls, browser history, contacts, SMS messages, even some deleted data.
You cannot alter a Cellebrite report. It is read-only.

Mr. Lynch has grown his hair out :p:D I love when he reads the text messages aloud (in past trials)

WL is testifying about the number that has an Apple ID with SM's name in it, as well as the phone being labeled, "Sidney's iPhone."

WL says information is put into a report

Report can't be altered

Horry County Police requested his assistance for cellphone extraction.

The report also creates a timeline that puts the data in chronological order. It can show that you called or texted someone, then looked something up on the internet, for example.

Cellebrite allows you to collect the content of text messages. It can also usually let you listen to voice mails. "It's basically like having the phone in front of you."

WL says unlike prior cell records in evidence, Cellebrite can report text messages, voicemails

  • #728
The report also has a column labeled "DEL" with a red X so you know what has been deleted.

Just a reminder, because I know it was a headache during TM's trial, UTC = Coordinated Universal Time. It's basically Greenwich Mean Time. It is currently 4 hours ahead of Horry County time (EDT). When Daylight Saving Time expires, it will be 5 hours ahead, which was the case in December 2013.

Now WL is reading text messages from the report

The messages that were deleted were the ones where Heather was saying "I think you're obsessed with me," believing TM was using SM's phone. SM's phone responds, "No, it's me. Call me." <---Also deleted.

since he has to read them without emotion/inflection, it just tickles me!
Yeah, if I had it on mute, I would never think those words were coming out of this man's mouth:

WL is now going over the texts from SM's phone to "Caleb." Clearly not SM. If memory serves, Caleb was the teenage boy.

There are multiple blank SMS messages that WL believes are likely deleted photos.

All of the messages he's reading from SM's phone to Caleb were deleted.

IMO, I do not think LE did too great of a job collecting evidence at PTL. How was PTL not a possible crime scene and her car for that matter? LE did not even thoroughly search PTL until 8 days later. And thoroughly is an exaggeration. They spent more time in and near the water. SMH!
I think the crime scene is inside SM’s truck..........Tammy in back seat.....strangulation.....no blood etc.

All this graphic testimony right before lunch is gonna put the jurors off their feed dot dot dot

After receiving a call from Caleb's number, the following texts were sent from SM's phone to Caleb:

"Dude I think your mom just called."
"I gave her a fake name."
"What?"
"I told her my name was Terry."
"Yes, just now."

I feel like they initially met at long beards...agree the truck was involved. Wasn’t there testimony regarding them purchasing the truck and specifically asking for a truck box? Sorry not sure if that’s what it’s called.

"Someone just called from NY and asked why I was calling her teenage son."

Caleb goes on to say he's not underage; he's 18.
