Haha! Defense got expert to read through all his qualifications! NL was just going to have him certified as an expert. If I were on the jury listening to his list of how much training he's had, I would think, "damn, this guy is so qualified to testify about this."

Did SM's mom just arrive or something? Is that CM with SM's parents?
Now wouldn't that be something. CM with SM's parents.
As hard as TM kept her in-lawas AWAY and separated from her family...that in itself is a Bam!

Wait, are we wondering if that's the oldest son or the youngest son? They have the same initials, but I was thinking we were talking about the older son, who I believe is in college now.

JT says not all deleted msgs can be recovered.

Can tell when cell phone was powered on. Not tell when powered off.

Discussion/testimony about cell txt messages to follow. Found them on an iPhone backup program.

I’m thinking the younger CM, myself. It doesn’t look the college-aged CM to me (from the back at least).

Looks like it. He is still underaged, so I assume they won't be calling him as a witness so he does not have to be sequestered?

Where were they yesterday and this morning?
Oh, I guess I didn't realize that a witness can't be underage.
But, what about at TM's trial when the kids & Polly (I think) got busted watching the trial on an iPad/laptop.
Didn't they say that disqualified the kids from testifying...??

JT: SM phone powered back on at 3:03 am on Dec. 18, don't know when it was powered off before that.

Yeah, you're probably right. This is the most recent image I can find/remember of the older CM:

Defense cross-examines JT

Software to link computer and iphone not standard, has to be bought/installed separately. Was downloaded on 3/21/2013 on Moorer's computer.

No redirect from pros. JT steps down

Just wanted to add to this:
Witness JT says the last phone call/out on SM's phone was at approx. 1:10 AM Dec. 18 - so the phone had to have been powered off sometime after that, then powered back on at 3:03am Dec. 18

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm glad that's over. At some points, he seemed like he couldn't understand simple questions imo

John Caulder is next pros. witness.

He is retired from Horry County PD, last duty was with Crime Scene inv.

Was called to search Ford F-150 that had been towed to HCPD.

Photographed vehicle only. No other evidence collected.

Testifying about photos he took.

JC did not know that truck was bought new after SM and HE broke up.

JC was working this as missing person's case based on info given to him.

Was under impression that was truck SM had when dating HE.

JC is looking over photos he took of the f-150. He did not remove anything from the vehicle.

JC states there was no license plate (vanity plate) on the front of the truck when he took the photos.

Good catch!!!

JC states he was told the truck was a vehicle the missing person (Heather) could've had access to, since it belonged to a man she had a relationship with. At the time, they were still trying to locate a missing person.
