An 88¢ pregnancy test. When you have to know with absolute certainty.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's relaying what's happening in the courtroom. I don't have sound on my computer currently, so I can't watch this time. Heather's case is one of the first ones that I really became invested in when I found Websleuths. She's always on my mind. I am so anxious to see TM and SM finally answer for taking Heather from this world.

I feel like those pregnancy tests use to be more expensive. Seems they were closer to $10 when I bought them, though that was over 20yrs ago. Strange how cheap they are now!

Sadly he bought the cheapest test, but didn't get the cheap cigar!

Wonder if it’s possible that they took her somewhere and forced her to take the pt...How awful to think what they did to that poor girl!

The state is now playing the surveillance video of Sidney Moorer walking into a purchasing an item from Walmart on Seaboard Street.

We are currently watching the security video. Love says Sidney Moorer bought a pregnancy test at Walmart shortly after 1 a.m. the night Elvis disappeared.

As a person who occasionally has reason to use her own handicapped parking permit, I **love** that they keep emphasizing that he parked in a handicapped spot at the Walmart. I think it shows to SM's general attitude, that he used the permit even when the handicapped person wasn't in the car (or was in the car but didn't exit it). Not really relevant to the trial, but something that keeps crossing my mind!

Off topic but I will be very shocked if courthouse is open tomorrow. We are under a tropical storm watch from Michael.

Why is the defense allowed to ask questions that weren't about the testimony? I thought cross examination was to question what has been testified to, and try to get your point across that way. This makes no sense to me. Why isn't the state objecting? Maybe because they feel they are doing good and the jury will wonder what they are keeping hidden>

Is defense atty trying to intimate something about Det Love's weapon and the kids??

Wait... cigars... Somehow peopel use them to smoke weed. Maybe that's what it was for!

What does this search warrant and her carrying a gun have to do with anything?
He actually asked her if she brought her gun into the courtroom. o_O

Sorry for the double post so I'll add that this former SLED agent is holding her own.

I think he's generally trying to put the prosecution witnesses in a bad light. This is similar to when he asked the cell tower guy about taking a payment for his work. He's coming across as very shady to me. And desperate!

Good question!

Seems to me, this defense attorney is just trying to confuse the jury, and also to confuse this witness, by asking her questions that are not related to anything that the State asked her. Jumping around, in the case, perhaps in an effort to break up any momentum in the case that the State has going for them.

I like it .. it's going nowhere and just making defense look like they have nothing to really truly go on
