Follow enough cases like this on WS and you know that it's not unusual for killers to take "trophy" photos.

The million dollar question though is where is that photo now. I said earlier I recall an officer testifying that a flip phone was examined. Who knows if it was the same one though (they'd be stupid to keep it).

I also don't think it is substantial if the jury doesn't believe him. It would help if they did, but I don't think his testimony will be required for a conviction. JMO

I feel the exact same as you do! Perhaps his testimony might sway the scales when it comes time for deliberations. Not all jurors will think alike, but the courts sure hope they will come to a unanimous verdict in the end.

Prosecution seems worried about the recording too. They keep wispering to each other.

Wonder if Prosecution was even told the defense had this. Shouldnt they have been made aware of this recording in advance?

ETA: Prosecution is debating something with the judge. Maybe that they had no idea about this recording.
