Haleigh dumped in black bag?

  • #21
She looks much much older. The face is chubby and her eyes are very puffy and swelled looking. Misty's not that big of a chicken. The posts of her taunting Amber then getting into a fight over Ron along with the quick 911 calls and telling off the driver for taking her to that neighborhood prove it.

Misty also demonstrated symptoms of a "flat affect" during her court appearance which makes her appear older. A "flat affect" means "a severe reduction in emotional expressiveness. People with depression and schizophrenia often show flat affect. A person with schizophrenia may not show the signs of normal emotion, perhaps may speak in a monotonous voice, have diminished facial expressions, and appear extremely apathetic. Also known as blunted affect."

This makes sense to me, Em. At first I was thinking that maybe something happened to Haleigh on Green Ln...she was then moved to the dumpster....then moved to somewhere near the Magnolia address (since LE thinks that Haleigh was hurt in this area).

But what if it was the other way around? Something happened to Haleigh near the Magnolia address.....she was then brought back to the dumpster near Green Ln....to be moved again to some unknown location. IMO, that's why the Croslins cannot lead LE to Haleigh...they simply don't know where she ended up. But in order for this theory to work.....I'm thinking about the sighting of a red truck sitting by the railroad tracks....the route the dogs traveled around Green Ln....How fast Teresa showed up to the mh....someone hearing a loud car in that area around 1:30a....IMO, someone was either leaving Haleigh at the dumpster then or picking her up from the dumpster...and this is around 1:30a. IMO, whoever moved Haleigh that last time is part of the Cummings clan.

so if Haleigh was hurt near Magnolia, why would one think to bring her back towards the area that she lived in (the dumpster)? Was this sighting of the red truck, waiting there for Haleigh to be brought back near Green Ln? With the route of the dogs..was someone bringing Haleigh back into that area and looking for a good spot to put her? I never understood that route.

And not only that, someone felt the need to stage the mh.....Someone wanted us to believe that Haleigh was taken from her home and that she was nowhere else. Who would've wanted that mh staged if whatever happened to Haleigh, happened somewhere else? Someone please help me.

I just read your post...and you have pointed out a very believeable theory..which I see as possible, and seems to fit.

I am also following you, with the reasoning, that the time line is much earlier as well.....I agree also, that the MH NEEDED to be staged to make it convincing she was TAKEN from THAT location....Could be that's why R didn't spend any time searching his neighbors for her...Waste of time for him...His actions were very telling and the 911 call seemed a waste of time for him as well..

Could TN have suggested to Ron...to stage it???? Or did someone else stage it???

Another thought...Could Haleigh have been injured at the Magnolia address, and had a seizure from the injury...and died??? And the plan was born to stage it at the MH..that someone "stole her" in her sleep...attempt to throw suspicion off the whole family.

Does TN own a red truck??..If not her...who does????

I applaud your theory....

Thanks, Just4usall. IMO, there was a lot of commotion going on around that time in the morning (1:30a). Not to mention we have Lt. Greenwood saying that the first call related to this case came in at 2:13. IIRC, the sighting of the red truck occurred around this time as well. We have screams coming from the mh at around 2-2:30am-ish. Then we have the 911 call at 3:27a.

IMO, the staging of the mh was done to keep the focus within the mh. If the person/s who staged the mh, knew that Haleigh at been hurt somewhere else, they knew that there wouldn't be any evidence of what really happened to Haleigh found inside that mh. There may have been evidence that the mh was indeed staged....but no evidence of a crime.

I also keep thinking about all the people related to this case that got rid of, traded in, or damaged their vehicles.

Chelsea's car was totaled 2/7/09. Amber was using nay's Lincoln when it got stuck and she said she paid someone to help her and they damaged it. Annette had a red truck which ron always used. Tommy had a red truck. I don't know what teresa had but I saw her driving a red truck in that cobra video and I thought it was Annette's but I was told it was a Chevy and not the Nissan Sykes had. I still think it was Gma's thoughl. The PICS would have to be examined again.

Nay's letter from jail indicated WBG put Haleigh in a black bag and into Nay's trunk. Amber spilled fluid (antifreeze) in the trunk when she used the car....go figure! :banghead:

I've seen a great many women on antidepressants that have a flat affect (Just from talking face to face with them, they were prescribed extensively during the first few deployments in OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) to a lot of military wives). Usually they have their meds reduced or changed to another. I don't know if MC is taking an antidepressant but could that be a side effect too?

No, and if there are bits of truth to what Misty and Tommy say then they are saying that Haleigh was dead or unconscious when she went into a bag, because they mention no crying, struggling, or screaming after being put into the bag. Tommy, tells two different stories. One, that he was at home when Joe came by in the van and he saw Haleigh in the back but no mention of crying. The other story, he's at the trailer and knows she's in the bag and rides with Joe but mentions no noises coming from the bag. He "thinks" Haleigh was strangled. At least I believe he now admits to being at the trailer at the time, or is it still just Misty saying that? Lindsay certainly hasn't admitted to the public that she knew her husband was out running around half the night.

There can be a temporary "flat affect" with depression. Mostly though I have observed Shizophenics on long term meds having a flat affect. Misty and JO both have mental issues that would require medications, IMO. Misty is detached, dissociated and may suffer from a thougth disorder. JO also has a flat affect but I wouldn't call it a temporary depression. He also may have a thought disorder.

Are both tommy and misty saying that Jo walked into the MH while they were sitting on the sofa with JR and searched the house for a gun; didn't find it. He then proceeded to kill Haleigh, wrap her up and place her in a bag and drove off with tommy and hid Haleigh. JO drove tommy to his house and then he drove to Chelsea and timmy's, removed his shirt only and laid down on the mattress....very near to Chelsea and timmy. They didn't hear him?

As a young mother, Chelsea should have awakened when he arrived home. IIRC, somebody did waken because I remember a remark about what JO was wearing and it seemed odd to them. If chelsea were suspicious, she should have given LE his clothes or the bedding or the mattress, he laid on. I can't figure thiese people out.

Within hours after the assault and murder, misty and JO are sticking "Missing Child fliers' on windows, together, at their local Kangaroo. Just color me crazy.

If I am not mistaken didn't Chelsey say that everyone had turned the clothing that they were wearing into LE the next morning, including Joe Overstreet? I seem to remember that statement coming from her in the same interview where she talked about them going to see Hank Croslin Sr in the hospital.

I have received word that JO refused to go near the station. When chelsa was driving him over to Green, he insisted she drop him off at the store/gas station. He wouldl not go with them to that trailer. I am just assuming he wasn't part of the clothing exchange. AFAIK, I thought it was only ronald and msity. If you have any proof, I would love to hear about it. IF JO did this, there would be all kinds of fibers and evidence on his clothing or on that mattress at chelsea's.

Why did Chelsea say that Joe slept in his clothes? She also mentioned she was filling out paperwork for the insurance company all night at first. Up until 4am wasn't it? Then they slept an additional hour or so after being alerted to Haleigh's disappearance?

Correct me if I'm wrong. You won't hurt my feelings. Was that an old rumor?

OMG...the military wives were being prescribed meds for deprssion? I hadn't seen depression meds give flat affect. Flat affect happens with midl to moderate depression but once on meds, the affect lifts. They must have been on anti-anxiety pills, they may flatten you out for a little while.

Misty'ss taking something, that's for sure. So is ron. These two would never turn down a drug that was offered to them for free. Ron would most likely be placed on mood stabilizers , amongst antidepressents and tranquilizers and misty would likely be placed on different kinds of med till they get it right. She has a though disorder (IMO) and would need stronger meds which may flatten her affect. They will change it up after they see what works for her.

I thought that Jo said it in one of his interviews. I know that it was also stated that LE went over the car that his friend was driving before they were allowed to leave Satsuma. That LE had also gone thru the suitcases that were in the car as well.

I could be wrong about all of this, but I thought that Chelsey said that he went to the police station with the rest of them after they had dropped Lisa off at the hospital to be with Hank the morning that Haleigh went missing.

O/T
Yes military wives are . Everybody is it seems. I have seen the flat effect on people taking anti depressants, well burtrin being the worst for it IMO but prozac a close second. The military wife I know on everything had all her military kids on anti depressants too. It was really nuts one kid was so normal off his meds and like a zombie on them it was nuts. 10 yrs old and he was bi polar she told me.

They do not need to give Misty any meds. You cannot fix her personality disorder with anti depressants. That is just re-enforcing her addictions and showing her even the doctors think she needs to be on drugs and as someone pointed out eariler Misty's problem is stunted maturity from drug use. Plus Misty should feel depressed she has a reason to be it isnt called suffering from depression if it is a reality based depression it is call feeling guilty and accepting reality. Not to the point she is going to tell us.

No way can you put a "live" 5 year old child in a plastic bag. Can you just imagine that? Kicking and punching the bag? That must have been some heavy duty bag. If true, Haleigh was either dead or unconscious. If she were unconscious, then her body would have been fighting to breathe. This is ridiculous.

So Misty is peeking out from under the blanket and she sees Joe stuffing Haleigh into a plastic bag? So he goes out the door that pushes OUTWARD, but stops to brick it?

[I do agree that the black bag seems to be a recurring theme in this case.]

Seems to me that if one is involved they are all involved. Something happened to her and they all took part in this cover up and staging of the MH. We knew that from day one. Now because of all the lies, no one will believe the truth if it hits them in the face. How can anyone prove anything without a body or some evidence?

I honestly don't think JA stayed in Satsuma while Jo was there and Jo had to wait for her to come and pick him up the day they planned to drive back together. I think it was Cobra who said JA didn't stay in Satsuma but went on to visit elsewhere which I believe is accurate since JA never stayed with Jo or hung out with JO while he was in Satsuma. I think JA & Jo are friends and not a couple. Cobra was a weekly guest on SB's radio show and he said he spent time with Tommy retracing Jo's activities in Satsuma.

JO said during an interview that LE came to question him and JA in TN perhaps a month or more after they returned and LE confiscated and tested JA's vehicle and their clothing/personal belongings. After HaLeigh disappeared LE were conducting interviews with Misty and Ron and investigating the crime scene so after they completed this part of the investigaton they proceeded to go to TN to question Jo based on what Misty and Ron told them during their interviews. L Padilla said Joe dumped some of his clothing at a gas station but I don't know where he got his information from or whether it is credible.

Wasn't Greene Lane closed off on Feb 10, 2009 so LE could conduct their investigation? Isn't that a standard operating procedure after a child is reported missing from their home that the road/street be blocked off? I assume nobody was allowed in that area. Besides, why would JO want or need to go to Ron's or Tommy's since he was staying at Chelsea and Timmy's? IIRC Misty stated during her LVA test that Jo wouldn't go to the Police Station with her and I can't say I blame him. Why go sit there when posters need to be distributed throughout the community? This was the first time Misty was involved in a criminal investigation and IMO she was confused by it all.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An attorney says his client saw 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings taken from her home in a bag.

Overstreet's attorney has said he had nothing to do with Haleigh's disappearance in February 2009.

Although your idea is brilliant Whisperer, I don’t blame Chelsea entirely for not handing Joe’s bedding over to LE unless she was told to. She was likely totally confused over HaLeigh's disappearance, and unless you watch crime shows on TV and learn what to do, how would she know to preserve his bedding for testing? Hindsight is 20/20 and these people aren’t highly-trained and competent LE personnel. AFAIK, LE take total control of an investigation and although it certainly would have benefited them to have Joe’s bedding, the reality is that evidence will be unknowingly destroyed and mistakes are bound to happen.
