Be all appearences she was just getting off a three day bender of booze and drugs.
I suspect that noone would have had to sureptciously put anything in her drink. If they had she would not be lying so badly to cover up what really happened, and probably would have passed a polygraph.
No she is covering up some willfull action on her part. The least of which is most likely getting stoned while she was supposed to be caring for the kids. Noone would have had to slip her anything. They just would have had to show up with the materials to party. By all appearences she is what the EMS comunity refers to as "self medicating".

It takes awhile to go out of your system tho. She would have been very groggy and obviously drugged when she first woke up, imo, and depending on the dose ...could be that way for hours. LE should have noticed. However, since she is saying that Tommy is into pills...a pain pill may wear off after four hours or so. It could also be given in her drink.

LE has stated (not in this case) to watch for changes in behavior of people when looking for a suspect. If Tommy didn't head this far into the drug scene prior to her going missing...it is a clue. It is one of the things LE says to look for like heavy drinking etc.

I have always wondered if someone had put something in Misty's drink that would knock her out for a while, or at least make her groggy. If so, it would have had to have worn off by 2 - 3 am. I'm sure that LE didn't do any testing on her after they arrived, so there is no way we will ever know unless the perp is found and admits this. Which I doubt will happen.

I was thinking about this as well. But i was also thinking that if the perp was brave enough to drug MC, it is a possibility that HC got drugged, as it would be much easier to exit with a child you know will not wake up. (meaning a deep sleep) I am going to have to continue to think about this and wait for more info before i add this in as a theory.

MC says that "people" are talking about HC2 being involved, "why do the police think he is involved?" and that a red truck came to get Haleigh, HC2 got rid of his red truck immediately after Haleigh went missing.

Cousin Joe was with Lisa Croslin when they came to pick up MC from the gas station (I suppose near the police station) after her interview with LE. Joe was scared to go down there, didn't want to go down there to get his stuff, he just wanted to leave immediately and got out of town fast.

MC's brother Timmy, with whom Cousin Joe was staying was up at about midnight or so, and Cousin Joe wasn't in bed. When Timmy saw Joe next, after the call about Haleigh, Joe was in bed with his pants, shirt and socks on although he usually sleeps in his boxers.

The van had been moved, the keys had been moved, the van was scratched like it had been scratched by barbed wire all the way down the side and had foliage of some sort stuck in the head light.

Both Tommy and Cousin Joe had molested MC when she was a baby (5-7), Joe had done something to a 5 year old cousin. Joe is always in trouble, he is "a sick person", he beats his mother and is the suspect to RC and MC for taking a gun out of the house after a visit where both brothers were present. The gun was later found at HC2's house in a culvert. RC would not suspect Timmy, the one relative of MC's that he likes and they (MC and RC) know Timmy would never take anything from their house.

Tommy's wife is tired of his pill popping and crack smoking.

One brother shot a deer and hauled it home in the back of the van, MC saw the deer in there and knows there is blood in the van, but thinks it must be deer blood.

Her parents were/are drug addicts and she went from house to house and even lived in a car when she was younger, when the family has been split up, she and Timmy always stayed together, no matter what.

I think she is telling the truth and I think she really believes that her brother and cousin took Haleigh that night/morning. She also believes that Haleigh is alive and is being held somewhere. Cousin Joe doesn't know the area but HC2 does, cause he is a crack head and looks for places to go to smoke crack.

Crack heads do horrible things.

I am starting to think that MC might have told LE immediately that she suspected HC2 and Joe and that is why LE was at 116 Tyler on the morning of the 10th. LE thinks she knows for sure, but she doesn't. She is just suspicious of them and for good reason.

HC2 was extremely cooperative. That is what LE said about RC and MC too.

I always thought cousin Joe was invovled. Now I am thinking HC2 may have been in cahoots with Cousin Joe.

BTW did anyone notice that the A/C company, Artic Air, is the same place that RC's cousin's ex-husband works.

Did anyone notice that RC's Aunt Lisa was with Granny when they came over to bring clothes at 7pm that evening? So we have Granny and Aunt Lisa to vouch for the time they saw MC and the kids.

These weren't from the voice tests. They were from the polygraph test. Her postscripts (about the 3-4 people and the rose) seem to back up the results. JMO

I have no idea other than that being the victim and maybe having kept it a secret all these years or maybe she was not believed by her parents (ugh!) when she told them, she blamed herself "it must have been something I did, it can't be that HC2 or Cuz could be bad". It isn't like she had a lot of people to talk to about this during her life. Little girls being raised by drug addicts are so at risk of being molested by any number of people and "family" issues get swept under the rug.

I always thought it downright disgusting that her brother would have this guy in his house if he knew what happened to MC or that he would ever be allowed into RC's house, around his kids and even his mother. This is why I think MC kept it a secret until recently. She wasn't believed when she was little.

What about Tommy's wife? Now she knows what MC has accused him of doing. Yikes! What is she thinking now?

I feel so sorry for all of them. The whole thing is just so freaking sad.

Then there's that little spot of me that keeps remembering the police at 116 Tyler confirming that "she was last seen within her residence an hour to an hour and a half ago". IF, and it's a big IF, that information was gleaned from someone at 116, was it HC2?

IIRC the last time MC "saw" Haleigh was 10pm. Who saw her at 1:30-2:30?

Cuz wasn't in his room at 12:30/1:00am -ish (IIRC) per MC as told to her by Timmy.

Last I checked [April, iirc], media reported that LE suspected that he [ChR] had fallen asleep in a dumpster, but that his remains had not been found in the landfill where it would have been hauled. There has been much suspicious activity on Bear Island in South Putnam since Monday, but I have no idea if it is related to the acsconded sexual predator, or to Haleigh's case.

To my knowledge, LE has never publicly stated that he is on the run.

Although dispatch shows no 911 call came from 116 Tyler, someone at that location called the non-emergency line at the police station and they stated HaLeigh was last seen 1-1 1/2 hours before the 911 call was made by MC.

Lisa Croslin took out a protective order on Misty's behalf on Jeremy Miller in March 2005 for having sexual relations with Misty when she was 14 y.o. He was convicted and is serving time. I wonder what the circumstances were surrounding this incident which occurred more than once apparently and what was the level of violence inflicted upon Misty? Likely Misty lost her virginity when she was attacked by this older man. To my knowledge, Misty didn't receive therapy services.
