Please clarify this for a humble reader such as myself.

Is law enforcement lying or inept or both or neither?

Is Hank lying now or did he lie by omission in the beginning or both or neither?

Is Hank trying to cover up what is sister did or is he trying to cover up what he did or both or neither?

Thank you in advance for assisting other readers such as myself who appreciate reading your thoughts, opinions, and unique insights.

In what universe are we that a man who is currently behind bars for stealing from an elderly man admits to Law Enforcement that he has been withholding evidence from them for 7 months about information that could very well have helped find Haleigh months ago and said man places himself at the scene...is to be believed? People are more anxious to say no ....Hankjr is innocent ....he admitted he lied for goodness sakes. I am just in awe.

I don't know what happened....but I can't understand the logic behind Hankjr covering for the sister that took out a restraining order on him and I don't believe Rc is this criminal mastermind behind all of the crimes committed in Satsuma. i also don't believe that MC is this weak little pixie that is under a trance and does exactly what RC says like some robot. A person scared of her mate and measures every move she makes does not turn her phone off while her mate is at work and worry about the repercussions of that later. I was in that situation once when i was a very young woman. If my ex husband called me .....I ran to the phone and answered it on the first ring. God forbid I didn't answer....but if I shut the ringer off......God have mercy on his wrath.

I don't believe Hankjr. I also don't believe LE just squeezed this info out of Hank. LE said they were working off a tip from a letter from an inmate in another state. Oops that right. Le is not to be trusted.

I dont know what he said I didnt listen and dont intend to. My statement was based on the theories(graphic) of what happened and that belongs on the theories thread.

Animal, could you remind me what all Hank Jr. said?

The only thing I can think of is the published statement that Misty was not at Ron's mobile at 10 p.m. on Feb. 9 when he went by there to check on her after receiving a phone call from Ronald.

Perhaps a separate thread for this limited statement should be consolidated into the main Tommy/Hank Jr. thread? I don't know enough about moderating to know if this is a ridiculous idea or not.

And to further add to this:

Has LE known this all along but just now released this info to squeeze something more out of Misty? Perhaps they're using the incarceration of Hank Jr to their advantage by making it appear as if something's actually being "leaked" by Hank Jr just now instead of in the beginning.

Let me clarify, I strongly feel as though either Misty wasn't home at the time Haleigh was abducted...or...Misty was in a state of drugged stupor that she was passed out & didn't hear a damn thing! Like I said in the beginning - if LE heard rumors that Misty was on/doing drugs at the time Haleigh went missing, why couldn't they push through a warrant ordering her to submit to a drug test right then & there. They certainly could and imo should have done this within the first 3 days of Haleigh's disappearance. It doesn't matter that people think it's just hearsay or circumstantial, it goes with the territory of following proper procedures when a child goes missing and a caretaker has been rumored to have done drugs. I go back to some of my initial posts, do they have PCSO connections?

I am just wondering if the time line is not off a little, because, if Misty's phone was turned off at 8:30 and Ron tried for 2 hours (20 calls later while at work) and then placed call to Tommy wouldnt that put the time at around 11:00 pm that Tommy allegedly went over to the MH? Being Family and knowing that Ron was concerned would he not try the (all ) doors to see if they where unlocked or open? What about banging on a window of the bedroom to make sure nothing was wrong inside the MH? Why would Tommy withhold this information after the fight with Ron or the RO given to Misty? He is facing charges and could be linked to another crime (Rons stolen gun) or possible a number of crimes commited in the area. The tip to search the pond has been said to not of come from Tommy and I am wondering who had a motive to direct LE at this time to that location and what if anything was found. Someone from TN had to be young and or have knowledge of that area and recreational purpose and inaccessability. Was it a wild goose chase? The last search of this cost and magnitude was at the Griffis Property in Baker County and they found "nothing".:waitasec:

But as long as we're on here, why does law enforcement owe you or the general public any of the information regarding the investigation? The citizens of this agency's jurisdiction are not entitled to this information until after a prosecution is sought. Even then, they are not entitled to an explanation for every decision made by the investigating entity. Nor are they entitled to all information obtained in interviews by detectives or to all tips received.

I was unaware that you were supportive of law enforcement up until recently. This is just my opinion and a personal prognostication, but I think that your judgment of our legal and law enforcement officials will change.

In the meantime, you ask very good questions. I think you will find the answers just by stopping and really giving them your full consideration.

If you applied that first paragraph to any other case we've ever followed here, the reaction would be totally different. Everyone would be going :woohoo: LE tainted this case, and forever done irrepairable damage to the innocent family members of this case. The Glove doesn't fit!

I've been going along for weeks now, following, reading, giving all credit and belief to LE, but it just keeps getting worse and worse.

They blame Misty, but go interview Timmy and Chelsea for 14 hours after they left state of Fl.

They blame Misty, but Judge gives her an RO.

They blame Misty, but arrest her brother with a high bond and subsequent confession to being at the crime scene during the critical time line.

They blame Misty, but yet she succombs to professional testing to clear her name, but they still blame Misty.

They blame Misty, beseech the public to come forward with anything on Misty, anything but can't contradict her story.

Where is Misty's clothes the night in question? Was she wearing the same clothing Ron, and all the visitors at the mh that evening saw her wearing? If not, those clothes should have been right there in that mh and took in for testing and the different clothes she re-dressed in for bed and wearing when Ron and LE came should have been took and tested.

Why haven't we heard anything about Misty's clothes and shoes for that evening? Their just as important as what Haleigh was wearing, right? Why hasn't LE brought this up. Because they don't contradict Mistys story. There's no blood, hair, bodily fluids present that would indicate trauma, death or being in a different environment like outdoors.

I do not know what Hank told them......or if they interviewed Hank at all. I don't think he is lying right now....I think he did go over to the MH and bang on the door...was Misty there? Did Hank go in? Who knows

How would it help Misty by saying that he went over there and banged on the trailer door? How would it help himself by placing himself at the home of a missing child when she went missing? I don't think it does.

I doubt you consider my posts as insight into the case, but I am sure you enjoy reading them...perhaps you may wish to comment on my post from the Nancy grace thread about why Hankjr went over to the house after he found out Misty was considered missing by RC. I did post my thoughts on these new "revelations" there.

I have tried "unsuccessfully" to use the "search function" to find that post.

Would someone tell me exactly how I would find that?

The citizens of this agency's jurisdiction are not entitled to this information until after a prosecution is sought. Even then, they are not entitled to an explanation for every decision made by the investigating entity. Nor are they entitled to all information obtained in interviews by detectives or to all tips received.

I was unaware that you were supportive of law enforcement up until recently. This is just my opinion and a personal prognostication, but I think that your judgment of our legal and law enforcement officials will change.

In the meantime, you ask very good questions. I think you will find the answers just by stopping and really giving them your full consideration.

I did answer....I am on my daughter's laptop today and I can't navigate it as well as I can on my home PC. I know you asked KOOL LOOK this question I really would like to answer it. I have said it before in this case and i will say it again. LE does not owe me anything. I am not a resident of Satsuma. If i was I can tell you I would have serious questions about the job that is being done there to put the person responsible for this tragedy behind bars.

There is a beautiful little girl missing from the jurisdiction of this department and they owe it to her to get the job done and done right. Since none of us know what LE knows or how long they have known it....we can't properly examine the facts. These police officers are not volunteers....they are paid and in some instances voted into office. They are required to do right. Having a child go missing under their term and having no idea who the abductor is....is unacceptable. This is our country we live in. I can't believe that the narrowest idea they can give us to suspects is .....all the world is a suspect......And you know what. Is Misty so brilliant that she has this LE community perplexed? Arrest her for something and get this case moving.

I know you don't agree with my opinions but that doesn't make them anymore wrong than yours. I don't post here to get thanks for my posts. Sheesh if that is what i came here for I would have left a long time ago.....I am here for Haleigh.

Yes I remember that also. There were a lot of questions about why the children would be eating outside because it would be getting dark and chilly for people who live in FL year round to be eating outside.

I am interpretting that as they were more than likely removed by a mod, and I also take that as it is probably inappropriate discussion for this forum.

Dee .....good morning to you......I just want to say that you are saying that media such as Art Harris and TJ Hart are reporting what LE authorities and sources are telling them. You are also saying that you believe them. But for 2 months these same LE sources are saying that Crystal and Ronald.....the parents of Haleigh........are cleared of any suspicion and no-one wants to recognize that. People can't proclaim to believe what Art Harris and TJ Hart and other media outlets such as the palatka paper I posted earlier are saying in one breath then in the next when they say Ronald and Crystal are cleared of suspicion they are lying.

I support Haleigh. Thats it.

Highlighted in red what I want to respond too. I have never put out there LE owes me, I was discussing Hanks involvement and how LE is conducting this case as its turned now that Hank has made this latest revelation.

I've always been in support of LE. May the truth come out soon.

I am not sure if you were talking to me. I did say banged on the door. I don't know what he did.....only Law Enforcement does. I apologize for stating banged. People hear what they want to hear I guess I want to hear LE clear some people and make an arrest but I don't think that will happen....

Like I am going to take the word of an alleged thief? Not a chance! Tommy is the one playing CYA now. He will say or do anything to keep himself off the chopping block, imo.

So now we have another POI in and around the mh at the time of Haleighs disappearance. Why has Hank taken so long to place himself at the scene during the critical time frame in question?

Why didn't he tell this sooner? Why hasn't Misty said she went somewhere sooner? Why hasn't anyone come forward to say where Misty was? Why hasn't Ron said anything about directing Tommy to go to the MH? Where WAS Misty?

Why didn't Ron and Misty come forward with the info that Tommy was there, supposed to be checking on her because Ron was worried? Because it would have pointed the fingers at Misty, not an unknown SO. It might be that Tommy lied for the same reason, if he lied. To protect Misty.

(snip, bbm) Bingo. Whether he had any further knowledge it is equally plausible HC2 was trying to protect his sister.
