Hank Croslin Jr Talks

Why didn't Ron and Misty come forward with the info that Tommy was there, supposed to be checking on her because Ron was worried? Because it would have pointed the fingers at Misty, not an unknown SO. It might be that Tommy lied for the same reason, if he lied. To protect Misty.

We don't know that they didn't come forward.
Just because it hasn't been released to the media does not mean
it hasn't happened.

Yeah, maybe LE asked them to go on all the news shows and lie about her being at home?

IMO, Ron and Misty are both in this up to their ears. Isn't it possible Ron was creating a scene to place Tommy at? How do we 'know' that Ron called from work?

A couple things I'm wondering about. If Misty wasn't home, were Haleigh and Jr. home? Also if Misty really wasn't home that would explain her inconsistencies in the stories she keeps telling LE.

This would explain the beat-up van and a few other things too.

If she really wasn't home, and both kids were gone too, I would lean towards something happening to Haleigh while Misty and she and Jr. were gone. But if both kids were home, some kind of abduction (but by who?). Does this make sense? I'm kinda out of it today.

Well, this could be breaking news, one way or the other, implicating Misty or Hank, I could see where the guilt could fall either way.

I've said all along, in my scantily revealed theory synopsis I've shared, that naturally you would think since we knew Ron called Mistys brother inquiring about her not answering the phone, have they seen her and the kids.

I would think the brother/or a family member would try calling her cell, when they didn't get an answer, someone drove over, more likely Hank since that's who Ron called.

So now we have another POI in and around the mh at the time of Haleighs disappearance. Why has Hank taken so long to place himself at the scene during the critical time frame in question?

Do we have any statement from LE that Hank is another POI?

Yeah, maybe LE asked them to go on all the news shows and lie about her being at home?

Or maybe LE asked them not to talk about any details and when
asked about it they didn't know how to respond so they denied it?
JMO

Has it been reported who Misty was supposed to baby sit with? I have not heard that information. If she did go ahead that should be obvious information and could provide an alibi for her. I personally believe we are just getting snippets of info and none of it makes much sense. I think these are the inconsistencies in her story that LE keeps referring to.

It has been reported all along that there were reports MC was not in the MH. So, that probably came from Hank Jr. months ago. I seriously doubt there is any new information here. LE is pretty much on top of all of it. JMO

Maybe but why would LE ask them to insist that she was at home and nobody was worried at all and she was the perfect caretaker and all was peachy if it wasn't true? And why did that LE member say about the Today show time that her interview was pretty much what they were faced with? Why would they be frustrated with her not answering questions and saying "I don't know" if they had asked her to deny everything?

It seems to me that LE wouldn't worry about her reputation as a babysitter although she and the family might.

Hi beach2yall.

I wanted to add something because I agree with you on the singing like birds.

Kind of Off Topic:
I'm of the opinion that the cast of characters that orbit Haleigh's case~ can be viewed as a sort of cast of characters that involve themselves with petty crimes (petty in the legal sense not the literal sense), misdemeanors and a felony here and there.

What I'm trying to say is I really think this crew has some info. It might not be direct info, or again, it might be~ but the thing is this- given they tend to be in and out of jail quite often~ I think that there is the possibility that when one of them gets snagged and is facing some serious jail time~ that's when they will sing for a plea or reduction in sentence. KWIM?

I hope that's not the only way we are going to hear info out of this crew. JMHO.

--emphasis mine

I know exactly what you mean. :) They're all covered in dirt. Some have more to lose than others. Sadly, I DO think that is the only way we are going to get info out of this bunch. Otherwise, we'd have already heard it because MC and brothers know info and they're not talking enough....yet. I DO believe that LE is getting close to a a real break.

Or-what if Hank creepy crawled the house, it looked like no one was home and he broke in, only to be confronted by little Haleigh who could ID him. So he snatched her up and took off with her. And when Misty returned from wherever she was, she found the little girl had vanished.

I could see Ron doing something like that, IMO.

Maybe they wanted Misty to think they believed her?
You know... gain her trust....

Ron DID make a phone call to Hank. It is in the phone records that a call was made to him the night Haleigh went missing.

Took Haleigh along with the breathing machine? Nope...can't buy it.

I think people are missing the fact that it doesn’t matter what Ron tells
the media… NG… etc.
It matters what he tells LE and the truth is that NO one knows what he has
told LE and it is possible that LE has told him not to give out certain details!
Just because we haven’t heard what Ron tells LE does not mean he isn’t telling them
anything! IMO

Great way to look at this harleysnana. In total, we don't know the half of it. We are at the mercy of what LE releases. And we should take it from there. I find it hard to believe any of the civilians in this case. jmo

We don't know if Ron or Misty knew he came back over later.

Do you guys think this theory is possible? Haleigh wakes up in the middle of the night & when she realized that Misty was gone got scared of being in the dark then got up and ran off outside towards the train tracks which is why her scent ended there? Maybe she got taken by someone down there. IDK just a thought.

If you look back in one of the "THEORIES" threads you would find a post or two by me asking that very same question. After looking at the track that the dogs took I wondered if the track was made by a child because it was a loopy, twisty, lost sort of path. I always wondered if the footprint that LE said they saw on the police report was a bare footprint.

With 44 sex offenders in the vicinity of Haleigh's home and 1 a few houses down..another couple one street or two over, I wondered if Haleigh woke up in the night and couldn't find Misty. We were also told that Haleigh was afraid of the dark....so who knows.

Maybe he did and maybe he didn't. Only people that know are LE and Ron and they haven't shared that info with us yet. I am sure Art, nor TJ, or anyone else has seen the phone records unless Ron shared that with them. I don't believe Ron was told Misty and the kids were gone, when she had no vehicle. No way he stayed at work another 5 hours and stopped at the store to buy 2 pks of cigs/beer/peanuts if he had been told Misty and the kids were MIA 5 hours earlier.

Fair enough. But it makes some sense to me that a convicted thief with an axe to grind against his sister might be tempted to rip off her house, causing her problems with her meal ticket seeing as how she was not home when she was supposed to be. I can envision Hank being very surprised that one or more of the kids was actually there-then what do you do? Panic and take the child with you seeing as how she didn't cry out or apparently struggle with whoever walked away with her.....Just an opinion.
