I can't see any house on previous photos posted by Otto. Could you please post the link showing that house? Thanks so much!

The pics didn't post when I quoted Otto. Look for his post #479. They're there and you see at least 4 LE standing at that driveway/ entrance near the operations vehicles near entrance to Walnut Creek Park.

I think abandoned might be a euphemism for "currently uninhabited". jmo

Perhaps, but I believe the structure being referred to is a maintenance bldg so it would never have been "inhabited", so to speak. JMO

I will never understand how anyone could take the job of defending a murderer. You could not pay me enough money to help try to get a murderer set free.
What is the reason for this "calling"? I'm guessing most would say they do it for the chance to defend the innocent, or that everyone deserves representation until proven guilty...

But what do these types do once the evidence shows their client is guilty? They try to get them a lessened sentence in any way possible.
I'm usually pretty accepting as a person, but honestly, I find it to be a disgusting way to make a living.

IIRC JLM's attorney is a long term prosecutor for the county. I think most good lawyer's see both sides (defense/prosecution) as extremely important for the way our justice system operates.

They would need a staff of fifty to absorb the info that comes out of this site on a national level. :) One big case can disrupt my life.
I'm glad I'm not the only one spending so much time on here right now. This case has definitely challenged my cell phone battery life when I'm out of the house!

1. When the remains were found, they were not buried. For all we know, the recent rains could have uncovered a partially-buried body.
2. The neighbors are not close (if it's the property Coy Barefoot has identified). The area is very rural.
3. My understanding is that JLM's mother and JLM lived nearby when he was young, but neither currently lives in the North Garden area.
I can't help you with the rest of your questions, because I don't know. Sorry!

once something bad happened next door to me. A reporter actually tried to talk to me and the exact words I said were "I don't have a comment." even though I didn't even have a clue as to what was going on.

"Abandoned" has connotations of falling in & unlivable. To me, the property WS located yesterday & Coy posted today, is "uninhabited." It was very recently occupied.

I'm with you Otto. And of course the media snoops here. WS topics are the Reader's Digest of hot stories.

Thank you. I'll go look.

Thinking about how JM could have disposed of Hannah far away from, and in a completely opposite direction of Morgan, but chose not to... Other than the familiarity aspects, possibly revisiting, etc, I think he could have wanted LE to know that there was a relationship between the 2 killings, in a taunting type manner, jmo.

Either that, or as mentioned, he was tired, or drunk, or maybe planned to come back later...(I would like to think she injured him and he was hurting, an injury maybe not visible to us in his mugs from Galveston).

Whatever the case, he could have increased the distance significantly with the experience and time he had (wait a minute, maybe he was rushed for some reason that we don't know about, we still don't have much on a timeline on JM as far as immediately following Hannah's disappearance.)

Amazing she was 8 miles exactly from where she was last seen, just as in LE's search radius. These are common stats, but I honestly suspected the possibility of her being further out, especially with him being an experienced predator, having a large awareness space as well as comfort with driving long distances and knowing about off the beaten paths as a cab driver. I also thought initially he might want to distance himself from Morgan's case and areas closely associated with him.

eta: Last week I made a post on this, about reasons why he would possibly dispose of Heather fairly close to Morgan. Looking for that post.

Somewhere I read that Coy Barefoot was a personal friend of Chief Timothy Longo. I haven't found the link but am sure I read that. Anyone else?
perfect person to spread misinfo if they were going that route.

"James Camblos III, the lawyer representing Matthew said he would await further information. 'The police have located human remains and we will wait to see what the medical examiner says to see who it is,' Camblos said."

Does the fact that Camblos has not said his client is innocent of the charges on him so far (abduction with intent to defile) perhaps mean that JM may intend to plea bargain depending on what the autopsy reveals? For example, if no cause of death can be determined, perhaps he'll say it was an accident to get a lesser charge such as manslaughter. I just think it's interesting that he hasn't professed his innocence so far if that's his intention, but I am not a lawyer, so what do I know? :)

Camblos hasn't professed his innocence because he likely has not see much evidence. That was reported September 30th. The prosecution can keep evidence sealed indefinitely.

I think it would be irresponsible to declare him anything right now, but I am no lawyer too!

While I sadly don't doubt it's true, I will wait for a more credible source to confirm. Also, I have lots to catch up on but how far is where the body was found from JM's old home?

He is a monster. My thoughts and prayers are with Hannah's loved ones tonight. I can't imagine how hard this is for them, their grief, their pain, and the agony of a potential trial (depending on if there's a direct link to JM). So so sad and awful.

I sometimes find myself feeling the same way. I am constantly having to remind myself that our current justice system is dependent upon people such as he, giving their most vigorous defense to the people I consider to be the scum of the earth. It is our system. If we have faith in it's ability to work properly we need those defense attorneys, distasteful as that is, and we need them giving it their all, not just phoning in their defense. Because when all is said and done, I want convictions to stick. Give me a vigilant defense attorney any day of the week on any case I follow. I could never do it, I am like you, I could not live with it but I am thankful every day that others can. Because lady justice requires it.

The team was searching an abandoned property off Old Lynchburg Road, about five miles away from Red Hill Elementary School.

Longo said investigators preliminarily identified the body as Graham’s.

A search team found the body Saturday on a vacant property in that area.

bbm This is where she was found.

The yellow boxes represent buildings. 3760 is the building on the property that I believe is the farm with a dry creek bed behind the property.

Three or four miles from his old home. The map that I saw here looked to me as though someone had taken a compass and drawn a circle around JM's old home, and placed Morgan Harrington's body, and this body at points on the circumference of the circle.
