Hannah Graham: The Search - #2

I sent in a tip today (blush).

About the possibility of searching the old George Carr property. JML may have anger about slavery and the name Carr. If he killed Cassandra Morton and put her body on LU property to get back at the school, he might try to put a body/bodies on Carr lands in vengeance/punishment/retribution for slavery.

He might even put a body on Jefferson's Monticello plantation.

JML is an angry dude. The brutality of his attacks is proof of that.

Do you think he used Carr because that is his grandmother's last name and he had to come up with something on the spot? Still glad you called it in because we don't know one way or another.

What is the time line between when JM was picked up and questioned and the time he fled west? Could HG have still been alive somewhere that he hid her... and after he left the police station picked her up and took her west and left her somewhere along the way? Has this been looked at?

They did look into the car, so I am pretty certain they would have come up with something if Hannah had been in the Nissan.

I am still very curious as to why he needed all those latex gloves in Texas....at a camp site on the beach. What could he have possibly needed them for ? Any Ideas ?

Can we brainstorm just for a moment?

JM was "hiding in plain sight" in Texas (he certainly was here).

JM was found on a mass grave of a serial killer.

There was only one road in.

Morgan was placed "with intent."

Perhaps he is well versed on serial killers and their techniques. Perhaps THAT was his hobby.

Perhaps Hannah is hidden in plain sight.

Perhaps there is more significance to this than we think/give him credit for.

He was a competitor - football, wrestling. He was good. He was co-captain, he was voted "Charlottesville's Best Athlete," he was given a football scholarship to college. He was a winner.

What if he's trying to "win" at this "sport?" What would he have to DO, what would he have to get away with, to make him better than all the rest, to give him (in his mind) that Superbowl ring he wanted so badly?

This also makes me really question the possibility of Hannah being in that car and they missed evidence

This is the first I'm hearing of latex gloves in Texas. Could you please provide a link, or more explanation to what you're referring to?

Very insightful.

It could be that he did indeed have access to body bags through his work, and put her in one to transport her. No evidence would show up in the vehicle...but I cant imagine someone driving 1600 miles with a body. I would be freaked out just having an uncorked bottle of wine in the car.

I do not think she is far from where she was last seen. I wonder if they check roofs? I would think if anyone was on one though, it would not smell great.

I dunno. JM had his hands all over women, including HG, the night she went missing. He was all over the bars and all over the cameras. People saw him and recognized him. If he was planning this out (esp. as vengeance for some larger injustice, like slavery) I can't imagine he'd be so cavalier about it.

I just don't see anything to suggest this guy is at all bright. Angry? Quite possibly. Volatile? Heck yeah. But not bright. I doubt this guy could scheme his way out of a paper bag.

It appears from watching the video that two latex gloves were left in the area around his campsite, but no one made mention of it, and not sure if they were his. Maybe other WS'ers can weigh in if they think there is something to this.

LE had already searched the spot. If they were JM they would have been taken for dna & forensics testing

Wall0214 provided the (a?) link for me earlier, in response to my statement. Someone else mentioned it on one of these threads, with words even more suggestive that she had been hidden and, with the heavy rains, had been washed out - perhaps from the woods? - to where she was found.

http://www.timesdispatch.com/news/u...081-942f-5b5d-8a26-c25df5649a67.html?mode=jqm

"David H. Bass, owner of Anchorage Farm, found the remains as he inspected a fence line from his tractor after Sunday's storm.

"The heavy rains had washed things out, and I noticed an area where the tall grass seemed matted down from the snow and rain," he said.

"At first I thought it was a dead deer, but looking closer I could see that it wasn't."

Bass said the remains were almost entirely skeletal but clearly human, and he called 911."

Thank you! Very interesting indeed. If that did perhaps occur, it could change things. I'm interested in seeing topo maps of the area now. If she was indeed in another location originally, then obviously the access route taken by JM could have been easier than previously thought and could potentially provide further clues for where to search for Hannah.

Agree. If it was his, LE would have taken it. There's lots of trash on the beach here, people leave it or it washes up and stays. It's not an area that's maintained. The county rakes up seaweed, but that's it.

I think his sport might be hunting once fall begins.

There are some issues to hiding her "in plain sight". Some of those are obviously the smell - if near any residential area or businesses where there are people. Or, if out in field somewhere, there is the horrible possibility that vultures could find and circle the area. I'm sure locals are looking out for that grizzly possibility.

I'm sure they have checked the farm where Morgan was found....but at the time he took Hannah - he didn't *know* he would be linked to Morgan - he may have considered that area "safe" as it took so long to find Morgan....but again - there is no way they haven't searched every inch of that farm. So, back to square one.
