Happenings of December 26

They didn’t look for DNA on the note, and no DNA was found on the note.
IIRC, Whitson’s fingerprint (one?) was found on the ransom note. I should look at my notes, but that’s all that I can recall...

Correct, per Whitson. (2012)

The same reason he said he didn't think the person intended to kill her, because she was wrapped up like a papoose. He knew the doors were locked, he knew there was no intruder. IMO

But, if he wanted people to think that that there was an intruder than he would not have made that comment, and he would have said the doors were unlocked.

I have always believed PR fingerprints were on that notepad and still do.
It was PR notepad and her fingerprints should be on it.

Mrs Ramsey’s fingerprints were on the notepad, not on the ransom note.

Your right, my mistake.
I suppose I was reading between the lines when the finger print testing of the note came back inconclusive as to the author. It was stated repeatedly, fingerprints doesn't prove authorship ...which lead me to conclude Patsy's prints were there, but she admitted to handling the note that morning upon its "discovery"
I believe her prints were on it.

That's why I believe he wasn't part of the staging ...he wasn't filled in...
I believe he found JonBenet earlier that morning around 11 and was in turmoil.
I think he possibly was aware of issues between JonBenet and Burke....but never in a million years thought it could have come to that. Maybe he harbored guilt for not protecting her. Maybe he poo pooed Patsy's concerns, maybe that's why the note is so condescending and critical of John, she was pissed & blamed him.
He began thinking it musta been an accident, the doors were locked, inside job.... As it began to sink in... He went into protection mode.
IMO that's why he wanted to get the hell out of dodge for that "important meeting"

I also think they played fast and loose with how they reported many results. We don't know soooo much. Evidence results were manipulated to look and things were said that revealed only what was wanted revealed. Until I see that actual report I don't believe it. JMO
I know this is not a popular opinion but I can't imagine Patsy not picking up that note.
But, I also think she wrote the note. So here is my bias. I am so glad she did not breath, cough, cry or do anything when she was writing the note.

Didn't Patsy's sister leave the house with a backseat full of items from the house at one point, early on?

Yeah, John REQUESTED his golf clubs... Can you even imagine?

Then giving her sister the police jacket. They didn't want anyone to know she was in there. Thank God it wasn't a van or a truck. It would have been full.

Do you think they were really stupid enough not to look in things that were taken out of the house? It is hard to believe. But I don't think they looked very carefully,

she waffled a lot at different times about handling the RN. it was a big over-correction (maybe the biggest one). IMO the next biggest one was seeing the red heart on JB's palm "that morning" ... erm, reading about it "somewhere" ... "later"

Tonight I'm in a BDI mood...
Burke claims JonBenet was awake and walked in the house that night.
His prints are present on the ice tea glass...pineapple. Clearly the Ramsey's lied to remove Burke from the equation. Just as they lied for years about him being asleep the entire time.

Diversion and misdirection by the Ramsey's is almost comical.

I don't either. They practically rolled out the red carpet.

On what planet does it sound reasonable to allow the removal of the potential murder weapon?

I’ll try to explain how NO Ramsey DNA was found on the victim.

First, we need to understand that they only look for DNA in incriminating locations. Ramsey DNA could have been all over, everywhere else and we would never know it.

Second, we need to realize that although DNA transfer can and often does occur, it does not necessarily occur. A person can touch an object and transfer nothing.

Several factors come into play where transfer is concerned: shedder status; state of agitation (nervous, excited, etc); cleanliness; sweaty, recent contact with mouth; type of contact, duration of contact, material contacted.

The bottom line is that there may have been Ramsey DNA, but it wasn’t found in any incriminating locations.

I want to see the actual reports from Cellmark as well as Bodes.

Do you all think we will ever get to see much more information?
I never even expected the GJ pages but at least it was something.

I'd like to see the GJ report in its entirety, the actual lab results, hear the enhanced 911 call...I'd love acess to everything.

Maybe I'll run into Kolar someday in an elevator and he'll tell me off the record:)

That would be a great conversation.

Do you think when JR passes they will close the case?
What would that mean for Burke?
If the case is closed, can we get information then?

So much we all want to know!

See, that's the biggest red flag for me (and there are many concerning the Ramseys and their behavior)- while I may be out of my mind because of the events of that morning- the evening before and the events leading up to the "finding of, but not reading, the note" would.be.seared.in.my.memory. for life. My story wouldn't change from such simple things like was your child awake or asleep when you got home? If she was asleep who changed her and put her to bed? Did she eat pineapple the night before? Where was your son and husband? Was your son awakened in the morning (who could mistake the answer to THAT one)? EVERY GOSH DARN MOMENT WOULD BE EMBLAZENED IN MY DNA FOR ETERNITY. My story wouldn't change.

weren't there some recent posts claiming that the Rs never ever said that BR was awake at the time of the 911 call?
