I am a very green newbie here. Please be patient with me, and let me know if I am at the right place to get some help.
In November 2007 my niece Sonya Helen Harris, was found deceased on Maple wood Ave. in Harvey Illinois, she was found in a wooded area. She had gone out for a walk, as she had done many times before, and never returned home.
I am in the process of "trying" to get some attention brought to her case. I have contacted a detective at the Harvey's police dept. So far all I have gotten is " He has reviewed the case, and her cause of death was "undetermined" ( I will gladly give details if anyone is interested in how she was found, and why it is undetermined) and the detective that was on the case in 2007, is no longer on the force, so he will have to talk to his boss to see if they can do anything."
How do I proceed, and what route should I take to rattle some cages, and gain some attention to her case.

I would love to learn more. Doing some research, there’s very little to go by besides finding her obituary and booking details from an aggravated misdemeanour charge in January of the year she passed. It breaks my heart that there is such little information on a potential foul play case..

Consider asking a moderator if the date & Ms. Harri's name could be added to the thread title.

Linking to a police report would be great.
