Would anyone know the answer to this? If a body was recovered, would LE have to make notification to the family before announcing it to the public? If so, maybe we should all be watching the live cam at the Anthony's house to see if officers show up there.

Answer Question 1: If a body was recovered, would LE have to make notification to the family? After a body is confirmed to be Caylee's (through DNA, I would presume) I would say "yes".

Question 2 (someone else's question): If a body was recovered, would we know about it now? Not necessarily. I would *assume* anything human would be sent for DNA testing before any announcements would be made. Just my speculation.

Not just suspending... he actually said they have left searches before
and came back latter....
Why would they not just regroup and search some other place?

But I don't want to see anyone bash him and since we have no confirmation on anything but them calling off the search because of weather, I just think we can not make any assumptions. That's all. I personally think something's up but am not going to jump to any conclusions because I don't have the facts, kwim? :blowkiss:

Obviously nothing, otherwise they would be honest and forth coming in the efforts to find Caylee. The only thing they are worried about is how much money they are making and can they save slimmy Casey.

In the online message I wrote to Caylee last night, I told her to hang on... that the searchers would find her tomorrow (some of us WSers lit online virtual candles through this link http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...fm?l=eng&gi=WS).

I hope that they did find her or some evidence of her in the search area. I will continue to pray she’s found soon, and hope that when she is found, Grandma and Grandpa A will have enough class to give her a proper burial since their daughter Casey felt it wasn’t necessary…

Could be due to the approach of Hurricane Ike if it's true.

Hurricane Ike is coming. If we don't get hit directly we will certainly get rain bands. The ground is still sopping wet in many of these areas. I'm not surprised about a temporary halt.

If, in fact, they are just leaving temporarily, aren't they worried about that area being compromised? I'm pretty sure many people in Orlando know where they've been searching. LP has a reward out there. Now anyone can go do their own search--correct? I'd be worried about that.
