i don't like to see these kinds of details come out, but at least it will hopefully give people a little insight into how extremely terrifying it must have been for her and stop asking the ridiculous question of "why didn't she just run away". (not referring to people here, of course). from the moment they took her, the very moment, they began to instill that fear and exhibit massive control over her.

ALL the Bibles to my understanding DO have a place where they say, kill your enemy.
That is very different from vengeance. Humanity can turn the other cheek and show mercy when appropriate.

BUT the bible also said: Do not cast your pearl before swine which can sometimes mean.....Save your wisdom for those who can hear; or it can mean don't send your children out when danger is lurking, that means since Children have a right to play...You get rid of the danger.
PG is danger lurking....He needs to be contained. Prison is one way, death is another.
As a tax paying citizen I am not eager to feed that SOB.

Just thought I'd toss this in there -- the term "turn the other cheek" as is used in the Bible does not mean "to look the other way" when someone hurts us (which would be showing mercy), but, literally, to turn the other cheek, and let them slap us there, as well. Kind of like, if a man wants your pants, give him your shirt, too. Just trying to put the passage in the correct context. It's not really about "not" extracting vengence, but it "is" about keeping the peace.

Here's the passage, in it's entirety:

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Yes. Remember the famous case of Rodney King? In 1991 the cops used a stun gun on him, then proceeded to beat him. I think the stun gun was ineffective on a big guy like him.

It hurts to think about how vulnerable and violated the victims of pedophiles are, yet when the pedophile himself is finally 'captured and caged', he is given every protection against bodily harm available.

You are right, it really is unfair.

He's going to get the best lawyers our taxpayer money can buy, three squares a day, free medical and dental care for the rest of his life, and the justice system will basically bend over backwards to cater to his every whim during the lengthy appeals process.

In an earlier age he would have been taken out and shot, and never talked about again. Those almost seem like the good old days to me now.

The "exclusive" photos British tabloids printed of the interior of the Garrido home look like pics. of a mobile home----just trying to say that while this is interesting, I won't believe it until we have LE confirm it.

I remember reading an article about someone who had called LE shortly after the abduction was being publicized that they'd seen a car matching the description with a man and woman in the front seat, and a child asleep on the back seat. LE responded to the area, but the car was never found. IF that car was the Garrido's and if a child were laying quietly on the backseat, the poor little angel was probably unconscious or too terrified of being zapped again to move.

Isn't it odd. PG and NG were both present, yet PG felt it necessary to use a stun gun to control Jaycee. Or was that part of his fantasy? Or did he just enjoy giving the pain?

Before she can scream I think he wanted her to know who is boss. He took instant control
and as Jaycees step dad had said, (not quoting him) she was a very sweet, and good girl,
the kind that never gave anyone any trouble, which is what probably kept her alive.
S0... if he used that gun immediately Jaycee probably cooperated out of fear and out of her character.
And perhaps it did save her life, and perhaps he used it on other occasions, if she ever disagreed.

Perhaps other young girls were more feisty and found their demise, I would not be surprised at all if
some other girls show up dead, but I also would not be surprised if Jaycee does NOT know anything
about them, even if she met them. I doubt that PG would let her know anything. He had her controlled from the first few minutes. THAT IN ITSELF is a huge tauma. This poor girl has had so much to deal with
She had to freez a part of herself to survive. It will take time for her to peal away the vail of defensive protection that saved her, and find herself within this amazing tale of courage and tell her story.

I am sure that LE will be asking her all the questions, but, but, but, she may still be in fear to
answer all, or even remember.. It takes time to get fear out of the body enough to even recall the
things that actually happened early on. A childhood lost
....she is a hero.

It is amongst many, many other photos from entirely credible sources. You've probably seen many of the photos, or similar shots of the Garrido's yard elsewhere. It's worth looking at the photos -- the one of the teddy bear on the trampoline, with a kiddie trike below on the ground near a mound of trash, is to me an extraordinary document, just heartbreaking.

I find no reason to believe that this is NOT Garrido's home, as 2 different sources, one in California, have similar photos.

As I said in my first post on the first page of this thread I have been reading all the posts here since this started. I'm English. I have been appalled and at the same time not surprised by the UK press.
Without having a quick check I seem to remember the name of the photographer is Nick Kent. I think there was more than one newspaper involved. I guess he works freelance.
Same the other day with the Oprah thing claimed by The Daily Mirror. A tabloid if I ever saw one. As soon as I read it I thought bs.
I don't know how it works in other countries but here it's a culture of the newspaper weighing up the sales of the newspaper compared to court costs which may be incurred. Obviously this leads generally to these tabloids just not caring what they say.
I read recently how in the Austrian Fritzl case a British photographer got into a kitchen where Elizabeth was.
The only time the UK press seemed to 'keep a low profile' for a while was after Princess Di's death.

I found the link I talked about in the first post on the first page.

However my html skills are lacking.
The page has a video and some text. The text is what I want to talk about.
If I link to this page it justs embeds the video which is not what I want.
If I don't use any html tags it still embeds the video. So I can't even just type out the address for you to copy and paste.

Anyway.
This page is set up the same as a lot of sites like Youtube with a video and a bit of text that usually ends with the hyperlink 'more' as it's just a part of the text and you click 'more' for all the text.
So if I click 'more' for the complete text near the end is this:

Dated 29th August. I guess a lot of us missed it at the time. Strange how similar it looks to what I read on Monday just gone (14th Sept.)
