Heart Shaped Sticker And Duct Tape #3

I wasn't saying that, but I will now. The puffy sticker found in the woods is fully embedded with sparkles and has gradiated backing colors. This is very much like the heart (upper right) in the attached image. However, that heart does not appear to be embedded with sparkles. I've rearranged the hearts for this attachment. You will see a very similar heart that is full of sparkles (lower right).

IMO, Sandylion is the manufacturer of the puffy heart sticker found in the woods. But their sticker promo images show another version of this heart without the sparkles. Same mfg. - different product.

It's not the presence of reflections... it's how they look. These below appear to have been created using graphics software. I'm talking about the surface reflection, not the internal sparkles.
.

I would love to see the attachment...unfortunately I can't see attachments...or attach things of my own yet. But if we keep posting back and forth, I'll soon have 50 posts, LOL

I just went to Walgreens and they had those stickers in stock.
My observations:
1. The sticker is sparkly/embedded with glitter. The picture doesn't do it justice.
2. The stickers are much smaller than I thought they would be. The smaller ones are just the right size for cell phones, and the larger one's are only maybe 3/4 inch at its widest point.
3. They are all "gel" and can bend slightly.

Just had a thought that the ones I am looking at with 1/2" long spike, could be arranged on a strip of Duct Tape to make an excellent "crown of thorns" for Dopey?
She won't get it if you hide it in a sock. You'll have to try something else.

Sorry...no...it appears as a red X. I'm not allowed to view attachments in here until I have a sufficient number of posts...at least that's what I think I read.

That's okay...thanks for trying....unless you could upload your comparison image to Photobucket or something, us newbies can't see it. Soon though!

So you do think same manufacturer though. I might have to shop Walgreen's tomorrow, LOL That placard of stickers is only 99cents.

3/4 inch is just the right size according to the ruler in the photo. We are speculating that the picture is computer generated and not an actual photo, so it wouldn't do it justice. I will have to go get one and photograph it and put them side by side...just for my own gratification.

I can't believe I'm thinking of doing that, LOL....and you actually went and bought them too, LOL

IMHO, all the hearts in the Sandylion set have sparkles, but some are more clear than others due to the angle of the light. The reflections appear to be from 3 lights used for photography. You would have to be a graphic arts genius to get the reflections so consistent with the presence of 3 light bulbs above the stickers (and why would you want to, anyway)? And why would a graphic artist not show the sparkles equally on all the stickers?

The stickers are really shiny and 3D because they are made of epoxy. They look just as good as if a graphic artist had drawn them--that's why people use them.

I think you're right. Regardless though...photograph or computer generated...these stickers look like a match to the one found at the scene.

You can go to the numbers thingy in the Game Room and count for a while. It's cheating, IMO, but you can really rack up the posts.

So. Who do we bust?

The reason to have a good picture is so we can look for the OTHER stickers in that set in KCs/Anthonys pics.

The reason to BUY the stickers would be to see how sticky they are, to take pictures of them for people who say they are fake, to see what they look like in different lighting and from different angles in case someone thinks they see one in a photo, to perform crazy experiments at the request of other WSers, etc.

OOH. Crazy experiments. I love those! We could be the "heart sticker" version of those crazy Peeps experiments! I can hear it now:

"Honey, we need to buy a new microwave."

"Why? What happened?"

"Well, see, there is this sticker and I needed to know how it would react to microwave radiation. It didn't go well. Next I need to see how it reacts to cold...do you know where I can get some liquid nitrogen?"

Thanks...I did go and post twice, LOL I absolutely abhor game playing. (That might not be strong enough for how much I dislike it.)

It doesn't look like a photo to me. The white background is thoroughly pure everywhere - as if it is unreal. The relections on the stickers are also pure (note the banana-shaped ones on the smaller stickers).

There is software that will create faux reflections from any designated light source and even multiple sources. It will even make shadows if you want them.

Sandylion probably employs graphic designers/engineers who create the colored backgrounds for these stickers. That is all done with software and is probably computer-controlled at the point of manufacture. Changing a color scheme is as easy as punching in a different scheme.

If they change, add or delete any particular color scheme (or sparkle application)... they don't need to take new photos for their promo graphics. They just create a new CGI promo graphic. It's done with a computer, not a camera.

You're not gonna need the nitro. It only gets cold enough in FL to freeze facial expression.

I guess you'll have to find some Botox.

???? What's your point? I fail to see why it's important whether it's computer generated or a photograph. The important thing is...does one of those hearts match the one found at the scene.

And if it is, as I believe it to be....what is the significance? The heart was found on cardboard...not inside the bag with the remains or close to the remains. Can the heart found at the scene be tied to KC?

FYI...You are right about how easy it is to punch in a background, etc. with a graphics program. I've worked with graphics for a few years now...since I retired. I can take a photograph into PaintShop Pro or PhotoShop and "tube" it, which just means cutting away the background. I can do that perfectly, and place a white background behind it or any background I want. I can put a drop shadow on it, and size, any opacity...or a perspective shadow...any angle any length.

So is it still a photograph...or computer generated? Or a combination of both...(as the image of those hearts might be).

There are various points made by people in this thread. I'm saying that the evidence sticker is not a perfect match for this particular posted Sandylion graphic because it seems to lack the sparkles that are embedded inside the evidence sticker. Otherwise, the shape, size and gradiated background coloration is a match.

I fail to see why it's important whether it's computer generated or a photograph. The important thing is...does one of those hearts match the one found at the scene.

I'm only bringing it up because some may be assuming that the Sandylion promo image is a photograph.

IMO, the heart sticker found in the woods is not related to Caylee. I think it's swamp trash.

Sandylion may have special software for this that isn't Paint or Photo.

I bet somebody on this forum will take and post their own photo of a matching Sandylion heart sticker.
