Don't forget though that they do not have to release it in discovery if there is an ongoing investigation OF a particular item or set of items. So, if they are in process of working up the sticker, then it is possible it was not included in the paperwork that was released in this particular document dump. They CAN hold back any evidence that they are still "investigating" and that's a fact.:)
So there could be a knife, a few other bags, a book, a cuddly toy?

I really do not think so, but hey, I'm game lets start a list of all the stuff there is no evidence for, but we think might be being kept secret.
I'll start.

A Stainless steel knife.
The list of instructions from zanny, preserved in a plastic sleeve(Separate item)
The "shoes"
The blackberry phone
A JC Penny receipt
A dead squirel
Glass bottle containing pungent clear liquid. Labbelled in large friendly red letters "PURE Chloroform - Do not administer to children under 3 years old"
Etc

We all know how fiendishly diabolical KC is. But that is just sheer criminal genius. Pressing the sticker against the duct tape to create the appearance of residue, and then sticking it onto a piece of cardboard.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

The only problem with that theory is Casey. She is NOT brilliant. She is as dumb as mud. I doubt she even has an IQ ABOVE 100-which is the average in the US...I would peg her around 90-92, just below average. We should not confuse cunning with brilliance...:)

Exactly. The only way that the sticker is going to be signifigant, even if they did NOT find it, is if it is a perfect fit in that cut out one. THAT is fairly damning circumstancial evidence-ie: she kept the cutout as a "memorial" for her daughter. The fact the backing that was cut out was still in the home is what would be THE most damning factor I believe, as I do not think if said phantom nanny had taken the sticker to place on the duct tape exactly over the mouth that she would have cut it out so precisely and left behind the backing...

But we just don't know enough about that sticker YET to know if they even found it, much less if it matches that cut out backing...but IF it does, then THAT is one good piece of evidence, and if I were a juror, that would be a strike against her on my tally sheet.:furious:
This one is about the Second Sticker, right?

The other one was about the First Sticker.

It was stated somewhere there was a stuffed animal wasn't it? I have not seen it in the actual documents, but I know I have "heard" it here.

♣ The forensic contents of the vacuum cleaners and shop vacs.
♣ The RED sticker-note the one in the evidence says PINK in color and yet the media has shouted RED RED RED...maybe they just think THAT one is red?
♣ Caylee's shoes/socks
♣ Casey's FINGERPRINTS!
♣ Whatever the ID was that LE snatched out of Casey's purse way back when

So the sticker from the duct tape is missing?
Apparently there is two. One stuck to possibly Mat board-it's pink/red.

The other one that may have left the residue on duct tape. It was apparently found "in search area" (see earlier posts).

Can you please show link to this second sticker having been found.

But everything in the A home has there finger prints its their stuff?

LOL. You're slower than usual today.
Of course they the state holds stuff back. We know they have the texts between KC and Cindy that have not yet been released. And they got those records in the first couple of weeks.

We know that KC had journals that were definately written after Caylee was born. CA says KC's jealousy of the r/ship between her mom and Caylee was evident in those entries, so I would think they would want to use that to show motive at trial. But we havent seen them either.
Anyway......BOT:

I believe the red sticker that has been cut out of the sheet , and whose backing was in the box, was the sticker that was placed on the duct tape by KC.
Now IF that red sticker was found at the scene and is a size, shape, and adhesive match to the residue on the duct tape, and if kcs prints are the only ones on that sticker sheet then she put the red sticker on the duct tape across Caylee's mouth.

Then when she had an brief attack of guilt , she puts the sticker backing that was cut from the sticker sheet, into the box of caylees special things.

If you are correct though, and theres no second sticker found at the scene then its gonna be alot harder to link it to KC based on the residue alone.
Pls tell me you understand now?

No. You're right. We shouldn't.

It must be her accomplice, then.

Ha Ha!

My list was based on the LE standard: "including, but not limited to...."

Don't know why we bother at all then?
There is absolutely NO POINT in LE testing KC's stuff for KC's prints. If I was defence I would give them that?

I have tried to explain before if there was a second sticker (which there is not) then the prints on the backing are irrelevant. What is needed is for the sticker to match the backing. That would be damning evidence even if KC had worn gloves or Cindy had been around polishing every sticker sheet in the house (and I am sure she did). Sticker matching sticker backing is the key regardless of prints or no prints.

But..........

There is no second sticker. The best we can hope for is a match with the adhesive residue from the second sticker. That we do have, but we do not know if it can be matched to the sticker sheet that Cindy wiped clean of prints. Get it?

I can't post the link (I'm seriously techno-challenged). I quoted YM's report in my post #372,(pg 8 of report). I believe I went to WFTV for the report. I just posted what YM wrote in his report. I don't know if the sticker found in the search area matches the adhesive on the tape, I just know YM reported one found.

It would sure be a lot easier if we could figure out which sticker sheet Cindy wiped clean.

Thanks for trying to link. I can go back and find the post in a minute.

The point I am trying to make is LE only found ONE sticker.
But evidence suggests it is NOT the one that left residue on duct tape. So there must be a (dare I say it) SECOND sticker, not found, no longer being looked for or........
LE are playing a game and hiding the second sticker?

All of them, silly.

I bet finger prints don't last long in that house!

Herc, it's OCSO pg. 3381 being referenced.

Cristee, go back to post #226 in this thread. Start there and read forward 4 or 5 pages. Much will become clear to you.
