Heart-Shaped Sticker On Tape Over Caylee's Mouth

I fail to see how a heart-shaped sticker placed on DUCT TAPE around the child's MOUTH works against malice aforethought! Seriously...

Further, the Winnie the Pooh blanket is just a blanket. Could be that Caylee was killed on her bed and then wrapped in it.

Oh please! What do you think the heart symbolizes? A kiss? After mama (KC) gave you (Caylee) a boo boo (duck taped around your mouth in order to silence you and attached the tape to your hair so there's no way you could pull it off). Now KC can kiss it and make it better - sick, really sick.

But it shows presence of mind which is good for the prosecution.

You can't just "do away" with your child under any circumstances.:furious:

I can't help but think that the heart was placed on Caylee's taped mouth for the purpose of a picture. I really hope that isn't true but as much as Casey seemed to enjoy taking & being in photos it wouldn't surprise me.

I thought the same thing about the crime scene, KC loves taking photos and in her sick world she may have taken pictures. Maybe that was what the PI was looking for at the house.

Does anyone know if the sticker was on the sticky side (underside) of the tape, or on top of the tape? I was just wondering, because if it was on the outside, which is where I imagine it was, then how did it stay stuck while little Caylee's body was submerged under water.

It didn't stay stuck. If you read the document detailing the evidence, it clearly says that investigators found a residue on the duct tape in the perfect shape of a heart. A heart sticker that matched that shape had been found in the woods.

KC already tried covering her tracks by saying that "Zanny" had a key to the house. So, she will just try to blame it on that non-existant babysitter.

Kinda funny how "Zanny" supposedly babysat all the time for KC, but...she couldn't go on that trip with Amy because she couldn't find a babysitter for little Caylee.

Zanny stole Caylee on the 9th and then kc, Caylee, Jeff and 5 others went to Tampa and got in an accident and kc stayed at hospital to take care of ZG?

Every Anthony in that house knows what kc did and when she did it. They call Police for harassment, threatening emails and protesters but never once called in 31 days to find Caylee??

I think Casey killed her and then mentally checked out and excused herself as making it natural for her to die. I think casey's best bet is to plead guilty today.

In terms of the premeditation, this fact could be argued by SA to demonstrate that Casey got together the "things" she needed to murder her child Caylee according to her plan. Who else but someone who intended to kill their child would go get a sticker, after the fact, and put it over the duct tape they'd used to kill their own child? Sick someone, that's for sure. Like I said, the why's behind a mother killing her child are way beyond my areas of expertise.

Everytime I see that last video of her I get chills when Caylee puts that cloth over her nose and blinks....never settled with me.

Absolutely not. Cause of death, mechanism of death and circumstances of death are all unknown. To conclude the tape was connected to her death would require speculation, which jurors are not permitted to do.

Because malice aforethought is a key element that must be proved beyond a reasonable doubt for both murder one and murder two. These alleged items of evidence provide the defense with an incredibly strong and intuitely obvious argument against malice aforethought.

Regardless of whether or not you and I agree on premeditation or, as you phrase it, "malice aforethought,", the SA will be able to obtain a Murder in the First Degree conviction, which is punishable by the DP, b/c Caylee's death was, at a minimum, the result of aggravated child abuse.

OK, I'm acting as defense here, in an attempt to reduce charges:

She put the duct tape over her mouth, just like several people can speculate, to quiet her cries, lest she wake up from the Chloroform sleep before KC can arrive back to retrieve her.

You did what? Duct taped your child's mouth, attached to her hair, and left her alone in your car?

JURY - Guilty of 1st degree murder. (If that's the case, I don't need any further cruel details of the story.)

I wonder if there were questions coming up surrounding Caylee's delayed growth, maybe by her pediatrician? If people were starting to question why Caylee was behind (if it were in fact true, I don't know) where she should be, Casey may have feared that they were about to discover why.
