my son had cancer. friends made one for me due to missing work. he really had it tho. Hodgkin's.

I’m so sorry to hear that. In cases like this, crowdfunding is a Godsend. The problem is, when people like my niece fake cancer, it ruins it for those really in need. IMO

None of the law enforcement officials at the presser is identifying the person who has been arrested in connection to Heidi Broussard's death. Of course by now we all know it's Broussard's friend, Magen Fieramusca.

I believe he said it was to protect the case and investigation. They have a trial to think about now.

I just don't understand why they can't announce it since she's clearly arrested now, it's not like there's warrant out and they're searching for someone. I guess every LE works differently.

Today is the first day in months that I didn't go straight to WS along with my morning coffee. I just got home and was shocked to be reading all this.

Happy beyond happy that Margo is alive and well, and yet sad beyond words. Margo will know never know her mother. That is horrible, absolutely horrible. Silas has lost his mother and right before Christmas. The trauma that this family is experiencing now, and most likely forever, is profound. From all accounts Silas and Heidi were very close. This is going to be very hard on him.

Someone in the first thread said that they hoped this wasn't another case like the young woman who was murdered for her baby not that long ago. And as it turned out, that's exactly what happened. How would this woman think she could get away with this? I type this every time....I just don't understand.

Prayers for Heidi's family, friends, and loved ones. What a terrible loss, and a sad, yet bittersweet ending, to such a horrific tragedy.

Not much said in the presser that we didn't know already. I'm thinking they will announce the suspects name once the identity of the body is confirmed. JMO

My completely baseless theory is that the charges for Heidi's death have not been filed so "suspect" is a bit nebulous right now as there are multiple crimes - kidnapping, murder, interfering with a corpse, etc.

Yeah, her eyes in that last mug shot look like she's suffering from a thyroid issue. Her hair's pretty thin in that one as well. She has a comb-over.

My opinion only:
1) she might have been trying to pass herself off as a guy if she was in the middle of an attempted escape before LE found her, and
2) she looks as if she leads an unhealthy lifestyle, of some sort. In earlier photos she was quite beautiful/healthy looking.

I had thought that there was a drive through their garage to get to the back opening. But in this Photograph just shown on Fox News, this car must have been driven around the house and then backed up to the back wall structure of the garage at the back patio.

Many hugs and prayers coming to her family and children. Oh man, how is this even possible? Part of me thinks that they must have something wrong with these women. How they think/are convinced they will get away with it? It's all so tragic.

Naming a suspect can have serious consequences that they want to avoid. She hasn't been charged with murder yet. They want to have all their ducks in a row and do things by the book to make sure she is convicted.
