Wow. I, sorry to hear that. My niece did the same thing, told the family she had cancer. Cut her hair and started wearing a wig. My other niece started a crowdfunding page for her. I was suspicious, I had seen other people do this. I started sleuthing and found the evidence she was lying. I exposed her. My other niece who knew nothing about it being fake gave everyone their money back, under my direction.

You wanna hear the irony? Less than a year later, I was diagnosed with two different types of cancer. Had chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, then another surgery. Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

Seajay, so sorry to hear about your health issues.
Hope after treatment, you will be 'healthy', as your past efforts to expose, a family member, are noteworthy.
Karma will surely come your way.:):):):)

Here, we now will learn about the characters involved, their past, and Justice to be served, to all.
All exposed:):):)

Wow, he talked to her for 45 minutes and she asked him if she could call back if she thought of anything else...

Remind you of another murderess?

I just don't understand why they can't announce it since she's clearly arrested now, it's not like there's warrant out and they're searching for someone. I guess every LE works differently.
The victim has not been officially identified so it would be impossible to charge suspect with murder of Jane Doe.

We do not know if she actually was the one who KILLED Heidi. We know she wanted the baby, and likely planned at least part of it.

If someone else killed her, she could help convict someone else to reduce her own time.

Here's what we know so far about the Heidi Broussard case
[…]

Latest updates

• Law enforcement said they followed a lead in the case that brought them to a house in Jersey Village in Northwest Houston, where they discovered a female infant. The infant is healthy and in the custody of Child Protective Services, according to the department. Police are running a DNA test on the child to confirm her identity, but they believe she is Margot Carey.

• Law enforcement said a deceased adult female was also located at the residence. Her identity has not been confirmed and an autopsy is underway, but police said she is likely Broussard.

• The house in Houston is still an active crime scene, and law enforcement said they are investigating multiple locations between Austin and Houston related to the case.

• Police arrested and charged Magen Rose Fieramusca, 33, on Friday with two counts of kidnapping and one count of tampering with a corpse, according to arrest records from Harris County. Her bail is set at $600,000.

• Officials said Fieramusca is thought to be a close friend of Broussard’s and had pretended to be pregnant at the same time as Broussard, plotting to take her friend’s daughter since before the girl was born.

• Fieramusca’s car was found in Austin at the time of Broussard’s disappearance, according to law enforcement.

• Investigators said they believe Fieramusca may have had help with the killing and are searching for other people who may have been involved.

• Authorities said they do not think Shane Carey, Broussard’s fiancé, was involved.

According to NBC News, Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department public information officer Lt. Daniel Arizpe confirmed a 1-month-old infant was found safe at the home just before 11 p.m., but the child’s identity has not been released.

Arizpe said a call from Child Protective Services for a welfare check at the address prompted the investigative activity. The child, who was transported to a local hospital, had no obvious injuries, the network reported.

Who called CPS?

My question is, what put this guy on her trail in the first place?
And where was the baby when he was talking to her??

  • #947
You have a friend who was nine months pregnant present at the birth. Wouldn't you think this friend (MF) would have been one of the first doors LE would have knocked on? "Hello, can we see your new baby?"

Suspect in Austin mom disappearance sounded "so convincing" just days before arrest

Tim Miller of EquuSearch spoke with the suspect in the disappearance of Austin mom Heidi Broussard just before she was arrested and said he was shocked at the turn of events.

[...]

Miller said Fieramusca sounded genuine saying, "I can't believe how sincere she sounded. So then, we got the news yesterday, I was just scratching my head."

This is difficult to read as Tim Miller was shattered on the discovery of Maleah Davis of Houston a few months ago. Tim Miller is a good guy.

I wonder how she lured Heidi. With Heidi's purse being found in the car, the luring must have happened in the parking area...either when Heidi got home from the school or when she was going back out....maybe to the grocery store?

The wide open front door keeps getting in my way of deducing the sequence of events. No woman leaves her purse in her unlocked car while she takes things up a flight of stairs to her apartment (esp. when there are homeless camping outside the gates of the complex) - so how did the purse get left there and the apt. door get left wide open?

Why would a woman kill a mother and take her baby? Experts say often it's not maternal envy or a desire for motherhood, but an attempt to hold on to a husband or boyfriend.

2019
Marlen Ochoa-Lopez, 19, was nine months pregnant when she was killed, and the baby was removed from her body and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he later died.

**(Found Deceased - IL - Marlen Ochoa-Uriostegui, 19, nine months pregnant, Chicago, 24 Apr 2019 *Arrest*)

2017
Erika J. Miranda-Alvarezfatally stabbed Carolina Flores and then took her 6-week-old daughter, Shamali Flores.

The Houston-area mother was found lying on the floor of her Greenspoint apartment with multiple stab wounds in her neck and head.

Baby Shamali was later found safe and police say Miranda-Alvarez admitted to taking the victim's cell phone and hospital wristbands from when the baby was born.

**(Found Safe - TX - Shamali Flores, 6 wks, Houston, 19 Dec 2017 *mom found slain* *Arrest*)

2017
Ashleigh Wadewas sentenced to 40 years to life in prison after she cut an unborn baby out of her childhood friend's womb.

Wade had faked a pregnancy to her boyfriend, family and on social media, and when Angelikque Sutton, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant, visited her apartment under the guise of picking up a present, police say Wade stabbed Sutton to death.

2015
A Denver woman was seven months pregnant when she was allegedly lured to the home of Dynel Lane, 34, with a Craigslist ad to buy clothes.

There, police said Lane stabbed Michelle Wilkinsin the abdomen and cut out the unborn baby from her womb. The baby did not survive.
**(GUILTY - CO - Pregnant woman, 26, stabbed, fetus cut from womb died, Longmont, 18 March 2015

2012
Verna McClainshot and killed Kala Golden-Schuchardt who was in the parking lot of her pediatrician's office with her newborn son.

Investigators and McClain's relatives said she had a miscarriage and was desperate to find a baby to pass off as her own to her boyfriend who thought she was pregnant.

Looking back: Violence against new moms

And don't forget poor Bobbie Jo Stinnett (2004). A dog breeder, she advertized her puppies. Some woman pretended to be interested in the dogs, but returned to cut out Bobbie's baby from her womb, killing the mother but not the baby. This was the first case I followed on Websleuths, but there have been so many deaths of pregnant women and I guess to a lesser extent mothers of weeks old babies.

I wonder if she was watching for Heidi to arrive home (from car in apartment complex lot) and called her right as Heidi was exiting vehicle or entering home... for the purpose of distracting her right when x,y, z was about to happen.

Or, not sure how she would explain reason for driving all the way from Houston at that hour (maybe to borrow a baby item from Heidi)....but maybe asked Heidi to come to her car, because her baby was finally sleeping, and she didn’t want to startle her awake by getting her out of car to come up to Heidi’s. Then when Heidi came out to car....

ETA: I heard a resident of that complex remarked that two crimes had happened in that community in the past, and no one saw anything. Also, regarding purse in unlocked car and open apartment door...that could also have been staging if she had a helper.

Articles are stating that MF car was found in the Austin area around the time of the disappearance....so was it one of the cars in the parking lot when the LE arrived on scene, or did they happen to see it on surveillance? To be able to see on it on surveillance I would assume they would be looking for a specific vehicle because that would be a lot of footage to go through to "magically" see one that would peak their interest.

How did she care for and feed the baby, not her baby, while the mother she knew as a friend was in the car trunk dead? You would think every time she held Margo, she felt she was being haunted by Heidi in the trunk of her car. It makes it so much more disturbing that a long-time, trusted friend did this.

A 'close friend' of Broussard's, Megan Rose Fieramusca, aka Maygen Humphrey, was arrested Friday in connection with her death.

The friend was with her when she gave birth last month and pretended to be pregnant herself. She is being held in county jail on kidnapping and corpse tampering charges.

Texas mom found dead tried to leave her 'abusive' fiancé multiple times | Daily Mail Online

Imagine the level of love and trust that Heidi had for her friend to have her present at Margo's birth.
It's crushing to even try to fathom this.

Evil to her core. The whole time she was letting Shane get scrutinized, and bamboozling Tim Miller. SMH. I hope whoever helped her wasn't able to flee out of the country.
MOO

By “found,” I think they mean “seen on surveillance.”

I think it’s possible that a vehicle was spotted entering and leaving the parking lot around the timeframe of this abduction.

Law enforcement would have talked to all the occupants of the buildings adjacent to the parking lot, and figured out if this particular vehicle belonged to any of them.

Just a guess.

Yes. Thank you so much.

BBM.
Where is Harris County: Austin or Houston?
Harris County is Houston where she was first booked on 6 unrelated charges.
