Thinking about her taking Heidi and the baby. She had to have a car seat, a carrier or something in the car to put Margo in and how did she restrain Heidi to be able to do this?

Well, holy guacamole.

I said I thought somebody might have killed her for the baby, but when Heidi wasn't found nearby, I started to think I was wrong. Certainly didn't expect it to be her BFF!

I'm not up to speed on this. I don't know if EquuSearch contacted Fieramusca or the other way around. If Fieramusca originated the call to EquuSearch perhaps it was in an attempt to send EquuSearch on a wild goose chase.

Or so she would have alerts on whether or not she was far enough away from the search and whether or not she was suspect.

My question is, what put this guy on her trail in the first place?

I'm wondering if her vehicle showed up on video at the Apartment Complex. I would assume (and I know I shouldn't), but, I think LE would log all the cars that were at the complex and then looked at video. If they had the car, and then started looking at cell phones, that may have placed our POI in the area at the time Heidi disappeared.

MOO AND JUST GUESSING

I think it’s possible that she had a weapon, and perhaps made Heidi drive.

That's why
The wide open front door keeps getting in my way of deducing the sequence of events. No woman leaves her purse in her unlocked car while she takes things up a flight of stairs to her apartment (esp. when there are homeless camping outside the gates of the complex) - so how did the purse get left there and the apt. door get left wide open?
I think she was disabled right outside her apartment in the parking lot. Alleged kidnapper took diaper bag, etc. into apartment and left the door open. JMO

This article says the red-hoodied MF aka MH arraignment on traffic violations was today, Friday! If this is true, MF’s joking demeanor is disturbing.

Missing Austin mom found dead, infant daughter alive in Houston-area home, friend arrested

If what we're hearing is true, any joking demeanour over the last 9 months or so is disturbing. Anytime that was lighthearted, anytime she hung out with friends (especially HB, of course) and family having a good time, anytime she lightly laughed at a comedy film, whilst still having that plan slowly hatching and growing in her own mind, is 'disturbing'.

She's not insane IMO (at least not legally so) and that makes it even more disturbing.

Re-posting for anyone who missed this one earlier.

Missing Austin mom found dead, infant daughter alive in Houston-area home, friend arrested
[...]

Caressa Potter, longtime friend of both Broussard and Fieramusca, told KXAN reporter Steffi Lee that she had been in contact with Fieramusca every day since Broussard has been missing. Potter said they talked multiple times a day, and during those calls, Potter said she could hear a baby in the background.

Potter said Fieramusca told her friends and family she also recently gave birth to a baby named Luna Mae, but wouldn’t show any pictures of her.

KXAN has found baby registries under the name Maygen Humphrey with Amazon and Target. Descriptions for both indicate a location as Houston and a due date as Dec. 1, 2019

“Her story wasn’t too far fetched,” Potter said. “She did her research, I feel like — I feel like she really did plan this. She thought about this.”

Potter said Fieramusca used to go by the name Maygen Humphrey, but doesn’t know when she changed her name. She said the three met each other at church camp when they were pre-teens. Potter described Broussard and Fieramusca as “best friends.”

What, a 'wedding planner'.
With her background, imagine what previous/potential customers are now thinking.
If MF kept contact, any new babies may have been a target.
So disturbing to even think this.
MOO.

She's obviously not very good, she couldn't plan this thing out. Thank God. Body in her own driveway in the trunk of her own car. SMH.

Imagine the level of love and trust that Heidi had for her friend to have her present at Margo's birth.
It's crushing to even try to fathom this.

It just hit me, that if she went to the birth when Margo was born, she most likely meant Heidi's parents.

*shivers* at the evil

No verification required to self identify an occupation on LinkedIn.

Court records and her attorney confirm she was formerly the assistant manager of Ace Cash in Humble, Tx until she was charged with theft. She was acquitted in August 2019 when charges not proven beyond reasonable doubt. (Reporter's tweet posted re. interview with her lawyer posted un-thread).

ETA: Correct date -- charges were dismissed on Nov 5, 2019.

What if MF was with her and said to Heidi 'you take up the baby and the book purchases and I'll bring in your purse'. She follows her in without bringing the purse because she doesn't want to leave finger prints on it. Heidi takes Margot out of her car seat and then she and the baby are immediately held at gun point and she is forced to go back outside and get in the back of the other car. MF doesn't close the door, again because she doesn't want to leave prints/dna on it.

That sounds reasonable, my sleuthy friend.

Risk Factors for Infant Abductions related to Healthcare

NCMEC has developed a list of characteristics from an analysis of 327 missing infants under six months of age related to healthcare occurring from 1964 through October 2019, in the United States. However, there is no guarantee an infant abductor will fit this description.
  • Usually a female of childbearing age who appears pregnant.
    • Most likely compulsive; most often relies on manipulation, lying, and deception.
    • Frequently indicates she has lost a baby or is incapable of having one.
    • Often married or cohabitating; companion's desire for a baby or the abductor's desire to provide her companion with "his" baby may be the motivation for the abduction.
    • Usually lives in the community where the abduction takes place.
    • Frequently initially visits nursery and maternity units at more than one health care facility prior to the abduction; asks detailed questions about procedures and the maternity floor layout; frequently uses a fire exit stairwell for her escape; and may also try to abduct from the home setting.
    • Usually plans the abduction, but does not necessarily target a specific infant; frequently seizes any opportunity present to abduct a baby.
    • Frequently impersonates a nurse or other allied health care personnel.
    • Often becomes familiar with health care staff members, staff member work routines and victim parents.
    • Often demonstrates a capability to provide care to the baby once the abduction occurs, within her emotional and physical abilities.
  • In addition, an abductor who abducts from the home setting (is):
    • More likely to be single while claiming to have a partner
    • Often targets a mother whom she may find by visiting health care facilities and tries to meet the target family.
    • Often plans the abduction and brings a weapon, although the weapon may not be used.
    • Often impersonates a health care or social services professional when visiting the home.
